Such a wonderful show this week... beautiful beaches and waterfalls.. great drone work as well ... best wishes and .................................................. Cheers
Every scene became a masterpiece this week. As though they were painted on giant canvas and animated somehow. I love traveling with you guys and I feel so blessed with the simplicity of you sharing. Thank you/
Hi from the UK, My late grandfather was on a ship that was sunk by the Japanese in ww2. He told of how they landed in Australia on a beach and the next morning upon walking over the hill saw huge crocodiles? later they took a train across a desert which they could get off and walk beside, it was so slow? I wish now he had talked more about it and we might have known where and what?? thanks for your films
Great vlog Magnus and Wendy. The shots of the blue hole are amazing from the drone footage and what a great mooring you found. Excellent... Keep safe until next time...😊
Missed the backdrop story on the perl divers' graves. Great drone footage on the size and scale of the blue holes. Same for the variegated stone landscapes. The location shot at anchor in alligator cove was interesting: oysters, waterfall, pond, oysters, flats, tidal changes, oysters. Huge contrasts in sea water colors, landscape color and topography. Do you take any post card type photos?
They were amazing places. Such natural beauty! We don’t really take photographs, mostly video. The drone certainly adds another perspective. I’m so glad we flew it over the blue hole… amazing! W.
The stratification through the rock formation defies comprehension, considering most of the Kimberly’s has a horizontal formation which is consistent with flooding over the millions of years but a vertical push suggests plate boundary intrusion which could be much older or actually an anomaly in the earths plate itself, rather interesting.
@@LifeinaNutshell the layering of sedimentary materials occurs mainly through flooding and plate shifting but also volcanic eruptions take a part in this as well,I have a rudimentary understanding of how things work,I find it interesting to understand how our magnificent home was formed ,love ya guys heaps, keep it real, safe sailing Dirk.
I would like a video from u guys giving a rundown for somebody thinking of doing a trip like u guys have done. Advice and general expectations of what onw would encounter up there. I think a great deal of people like myself would find it interesting and helpful. Love ur work and how you tell your story.
Wow! Sure seems to not express what this video shows. Should be on National geographic! What sights. The stone formations i can see being reproduced as flooring, wall covering etc. The hidden hole! So special! Not destroyed by ugly people. Thank you for sharing your life! USN retired, sailor from 6yrs old in 8ft dingy. Last boat 30 ft sail. Now no longer to do adventures except on utube. Thank you
Good Nz morning guys. I'm still in the process of binge watching. Awesome choice of music btw. I found my old Danforth covered most holding grounds over here, but for reefs, I just used my Fisherman anchor. In the case of the big D, I was able to add a stern line. Particularly in the Marlborough Sounds. Great channel. How deep was that blue hole.? Thank you again for sharing. Atb from across the ditch.
Don't eat too many oisters Magnus. I remember I spend a year on Sint Maarten. We found a great spot with a lot of lobsters. On my return to Holland it was time for my annual medical check. Cholesterol was skyhigh. Not sure if oisters may or may not do the same.
Guys super curious as we will get there one day. Crocodile creek looks like it meets the swimming hole level at high tide? even if its a few metres below, wouldnt crocs get up into the swimming hole?
Very nice love u both But ur husband looks great with long hair and a short beard. And sweetie u look great all the time. God bless and speed to ur future
High Magnus and windy for all the exciting places I'm taking Us along. Magnus, you are the oyster guy.😂 And Wendy, You are the cat's meow.❤❤❤

There is nothing that can compare with a drone for showing the beauty of an area. Well Done. BIG THUMBS UP.
Thank you so much. It was a magical place and the drone footage definitely enabled us to see it properly. W.

The Hole is such a unique place it deserves frequent visits just to reassure yourself it was not a dream, soak it all up to make beautiful memories.
It certainly is a unique place. A bit daunting on the first visit! W.
Thanks for taking the time to catch up with Barrie Perkins on Whiteshadow to cheer him on his adventure!

Love ur work and how you tell your story.
Thank you. We’re thinking about doing a 50+ things about sailing in the Kimberley video. W.

From memory it way about 15m.

Thanks for the heads up. W.
I think we saw you yesterday in Airlie. Would love to catch up if you have some time.
We’re both away at the moment but that’s a lovely idea. W.
Guys super curious as we will get there one day. Crocodile creek looks like it meets the swimming hole level at high tide? even if its a few metres below, wouldnt crocs get up into the swimming hole?
Hi. Yes, crocodiles have been seen in the bottom swimming hole but the top hole is 100% safe. Thanks for watching and commenting. W.
Very nice love u both But ur husband looks great with long hair and a short beard. And sweetie u look great all the time. God bless and speed to ur future
Thank you so much. W.
What is the water depth in the hole at low tide?
I think it’s about 8m but don’t quote me! W.
Yeah But !! What about that boat that looked like you rescued from hanging off the wall ?!
It made it out! The tide changes surprisingly quickly and can easily h you out. W.
what is the basis for that type of geology?
I wish I knew. It would be so interesting to have a geologist onboard up there.
Those graves need a little TLC
I doubt that they get too many visitors. It’s a very remote location. W.
I just can't imagine Barry going into that hole, he would be pooping himself.😉
Why did so many pearl divers die there ?
It was a very rough and ready setup in the early days.
You can't ask for much more than a marker and a few kind words. R.I.P.
Nice video, are you happy with the new tinny? Will you be putting a collar on it? Cheers.
Were extremely happy with the new tinnie. We won’t be putting a collar on it because it’s incredibly stable without one. W.
