    Together with your films of when you first online-bought, hence arrived on Nutshell in Panama anchorage and brought the ship back to life and beautiful strength, this video shines happiness ❤ It's a video I will return to, time and again. Thanks, Mnus&Wen🌸🌿

    Nice looking feed guys. I'm in British Columbia and just bought my first sailboat at the start of last year. Living on it now. My other vehicle is a 1973 kombi. I've done a lot of this type of cooking over the years. Bit of tin foil, some butter, garlic, salt, veg and into the fire it goes. Haven't used a camp oven like yours but I do keep a small Coleman, collapsible oven that I've used for everything from baking break to making pizzas. No need to eat hot dogs when you're off the grid. Thanks for more inspiration guys.

      Couldn’t agree more! We both like to cook so we tend to eat homemade food. W.

    Hey lovely people. Watched you from the beginning. Never commented. However, now I must. Being Dutch, in my country there is no room for a lifestyle like the one you depicted very nicely in this episode. I'm 65 now but when I was 35 I was offered a job in Australia. Wages were spot on and they offered me a free hose and a car including a driver. However, I turned it down as my wife at the time time was not prepared to leave Holland. I stayed and in 2008 I left her. I have been to Australia many times and met the coolest people and coolest way how people get along.

    I converted a couple of local yacht friends with our Quinn T-Rex 😂 they were using little tenders with 6hp motors till they seen what we were able to do with a bigger tinny and 30hp.

    With the hat, beard and wood antlers, Magnus reminds me of the dwarfs, under the mountain from the Lord of the Ring series. Easy barbecue cooking. Looks delish. How was it Wendy?

    Hi guys. Youve confirmed that a narrowboat will have to wait a bit, but I have a "next boat" suggestion... I think a sail converted trawler will fit your vibe to a T. Magnus estimated that you motor 70% and he loves tinkering with engines, why not a motor sailer?

    • @LifeinaNutshell
      @LifeinaNutshell  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We have looked at getting a motor sailor. It’s great idea. There was one we had our eye on, but the guy didn’t want to sell! We like to keep our options open so who knows.W.

    Dumb question. Why don't we see much on South Central Australia on TH-cam? Once zoomed in on a wheat farm and it looked exactly like a wheat farm in our area of North Central Montana USA.

    • @LifeinaNutshell
      @LifeinaNutshell  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m not sure why. It’s a vast area with not much in-between. I’m guessing not so many people head out there. W.

    I seem to recall that drift wood contains toxic chemicals and should not be used for cooking.
