    Magness has a bloke that goes fishing in the golf around Darwin. I have a lot to do with crocs. Truthfully I think you should put heavier lifelines. Maybe stainless steel rails around the back end of your boat just to stop those handbag lizards from climbing up onto your back deck especially if you leave a little bit of garbage out the back on the stand, they will climb up looking for it. Just a thought mate.

    • @LifeinaNutshell
      @LifeinaNutshell  15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks. We’ve planned to fill in the back area to prevent crocs from gaining access. Many thanks for the info. W.

    Looking forward to seeing your travels when heading north… I’ve sailed a 44ft catamaran up to Airlie beach 3 times now doing it again in may/-june… but in the meantime I’ve got my own smaller houseboat I’m fixing up… have it on anchor atm at Newport.. I actually bought it from down the coast and had it towed up here… like seeing the works you also doing on yours…

    When you showed - For navigation… great idea having two screens, one zoomed in, one out. I am a complete novice… both screens are or seem to be North Up? Is that better than Course Up?

    • @LifeinaNutshell
      @LifeinaNutshell  15 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      We always view north up as it avoids confusion. So, in our opinions it’s much better and safer. W.

      We’re really enjoying exploring the shallows. It’s very different to sailing with a 1.8m draft. It’s certainly very beautiful here. W.

    I was wondering if you’ve had new Nutshell long enough to decide if she’s a bit easier to run, overall, than when she was flying sails? Just the one job of continually trimming & replacing sails alone when underway was a lot of work! I realize it’s apples & oranges. And you’ve been doing so much work getting her ready. Once you’ve got her about where you wanted, will she be a little easier on you too? Love that you can go to places unreachable in most other large craft! I’m really looking forward to seeing your new adventures. If I wasn’t already a subscriber, I’d sure be subscribing now!

    • @LifeinaNutshell
      @LifeinaNutshell  14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes. Houseboat Nutshell is a lot easier because there are no sails and a lot less stuff. Thanks for your comment. W.
