Have been on this vessel many times installing Vestas turbine's. The ship's crew are mainly Filipino's and they make the most amazing food. One of the best vessels I have been on.

how much did that crane weigh that they had to use Thialf?

The main crane on the vessel has a 1200 tonne capacity with a 100 tonne fast whipline as well the vessel has other much smaller cranes for deckwork etc. I know this because I was controlling the lifting of turbine components over the radio to the the crane driver. A superb vessel with a great crew. The food is absolutely top level on this one.
