Camera quality on the 14 ultra is pretty poor at the moment. It needs a serious software update to make it better than iPhone and S24U Ultra. I did think about getting one as I love the grip, but not until they fix it.

I really appreciate the focus Xiaomi put in the quality of their video recording. That is the only thing I used to like about iPhones but now that androids are catching up, I can see iPhone relevance dropping as time goes on.
Couldn't agree more. The only thing I love about iphone is it's video recording and iMovie editing. But Xiaomi is catching up now
Being using the mat black edition of the phone and man absolutely loving it. The performance, camera and in hand feel is another level. The only issue I faced is in the software. Few glitches here and there. That can be resolved by updates. Overall I am really happy with the phone. Good battery backup and well.
Can you please elaborate on the kind of battery backup you're getting?

@@SubhaChugh battery backup is pretty good. Not as good as s23ultra which I used for a month. I leave in the morning for the office full charge and return at night by 30 -40 percent. It lasts one full day. As the charging is super fast the battery has never been an issue for me.
@@harishanthsm6947 you can switch off all those ads. That's not an issue. But few software glitches are still there but overall I am super happy with the phone.

Was about to buy this phone but then I realised that I'll buy a new one around Black Friday this year, so I only need something good but temporary. Eventually went with the poco x6 pro. Had to replace Redmi Note 8 (which is the same size as Xiaomi 14)that I owned since September 2020. Battery, software etc... everything is kinda falling apart😅 it genuinely was a great phone for me, insane value at the time. Thank you for your service I guess🤷👋

How about thermals? Does it heat up during normal use or when using camera?
Filming 8k videos or even 4k for more than a few minutes does heat it up quite a bit.
I just ordered one and I live in Australia . I was going to go for the iqoo 12 , but ended up ordering the xiaomi for its all round talents and features .
Looking forward to using the camera , it seems very very capable .

Just got my Xiaomi 13 2 days ago. Definitely my tied for my favorite phone of the year along with the Vivo x100 Pro. 2 things I hate tho is(1) here in the USA AT&T won't support it with Data. (2) Xiaomi don't support gesture navigations with 3rd party launchers like Nova launcher.

@@xDDxdDXDdDDD Nova launcher isn't an OS, it's just a new home screen replacement. Samsung phones allow gesture navigation. There is no reason to disabled it.

@@5AMvibes991 Very Good Battery backup..it has optimised charging feature built in use that always..getting more than one day battery backup..use it for watching TH-cam and other OTT. This is with Wi+Fi..mobile data will consume battery faster.

@@5AMvibes991 Initially I was worried but now I get a solid backup....its some AI feature that charges and works as per user usage. I do Keep the battery saver on though. I get 1.5 days. and I use it for OTT a lot.I had a 12 Pro which was good but big in size and due to the beautiful curved screen had a tough time with the tempered glass. this is better as it is smaller and is more compact and actually the white one is the most dear looking however I went for the black so I need not worry about any issues on the white peice.
Are there no frame drops for the rear camera when shooting after the phone getting heated up a bit ?

This phone, on paper was almost perfect and I basically decided to buy it.. And then I read about the camera fogging issue. That's absolutely crazy how many reports of this issue there are which leads me to believe it's basically a given if I buy it. Got the pixel 8 pro yesterday - would still prefer a smaller sized phone and I really like fast charging.. But no way I'm taking that risk with the camera lens
you can just open the sim tray and run some heavy benchmarks for 20 minutes, the moisture should be gone permanently
Hi , if i use normal camera modes with hdr or basic modes without pro knowledge ,would u still get such good shots i mean not dslr good but at least comparable as u dont have time to shift to settings when ppl are waiting to get clicked. It has to be quick snap.

How is battery temperature when using camera for 10 to 15 mins ? Is it just warm or heating above 40 degrees?
XD I am still using my Galaxy Note 9 and I replaced the battery and it is still a BEAST but it only has 6gb of RAM and it charges relatively slowly but this looks amazing.
I have a question really fast. Does it have an SD card slot? Those videos are insanely data hoarding. You said you are out and about, you must be sending it all to the cloud or you are using the hotel wifi or a computer to handle the video size.
Note 9 honestly Is a solid phone even now I use it as a second phone(mainly for its sd card support)... I recently upgraded to a S23 Ultra as a my main phone
The Note 9 will forever be my favorite phone ever.

@@avengerx250 heh at least the replacement battery is working exactly the same as if it were new. Cannot wait for Elon Musks new batteries (no Lithium or cobolt) to be able to be converted to the note 9 size. It's not even his fault, it's the tech group that has meetings who say what they can sell and what they cannot sell.
Xiaomi 14 (or any other flagship that isn't a Sony) offer no SD card support.

One of the replacement batteries currently looks like a balloon and other also drains very fast... Sadly replacement batteries didn't go well for me

i have this phone like 2 weeks and man this is like iphone 15 pro but with the android and with system i know , my frends have iphone 14 pro and 15 pro max we compare cameras becouse system its like what you prefere , and camera is sometimes better on iphone sometimes better on xiaominow you have 2 choises , if you like ios you pick 15 pro if you like android and you like hyper os you pick Xiaomi , i have redmi 7 after that 9 nore pro and i broke front screen adfter 4 years so i pick system that i know with is xiaomi and i am happy with my decision
I once tried Xiaomi, and the experience was so bad that I haven't bought Chinese phones again. The phone stopped charging because apparently my sweat got into the charging port, and they won't fix it because water damage is not part of the warranty.

Base S24 and iPhone 15 are just midrange phones in a flagship price. 128GB storage for 799 USD? That's too low. Sony does the same too but at least they offer expandable storage. Chinese phones will most likely top Samsung/Apple

Many times I have attempted buying this phone but the price is quite too high. I know the phone has all it takes but if you compare with Samsung and other international brands companies we don't buy those phones with their full prices. Lots of discounts at launch and periodically after launch.
