I think the original chairs/table set up is on purpose to show a more run down type of bar not every chair will be lined up perfectly, regardless I love your build

The facade/ front of the building is so much better in your version! But I think there were too many windows. Bars are supposed to be dark. But it is pretty lol
I think the reason behind this whole messy build and emptiness in other lots is the fact that they're in Strangerville. They're supposed to be strange.
But also EA always puts out bad builds

Could you please enable captions? I usually love watching your videos and listening to you talk, but since I'm Deaf, I rely on the subtitles to understand everything. If you don't enable captions, then the auto captions don't show up at all.

The original builds are the run down small town facilities. Kayla is the new money coming in to renovate the town and class it up.
EA was going for the “before” vibe and Kayla wants the “after” vibe.
Actually there is a bar in my town where the dartboard is right beside the bathroom, and unfortunately one day I might have thrown the dart in someone’s head by accident.. ahah, great Time..

Too light colours on the walls inside, should be darker and more scruffy, it's still Strangerville. 🤖👽👨🔬
I agree, and some things look too clean, nice or expensive. I think it would look really cool with uneven chairs and dirty things everywhere
They made everything weird and out of place on purpose to add to the creepy strange atmosphere otherwise they would do this with literally everything
Queen of fixing EA builds
I completely bulldozed my 8 Bells and made a new bar that has two floors. The bottom one is the bar area with all the tables and the radio and tv and stuff, and the top floor has an area for darts, foosball, cards, etc. So it’s actually a decent place for the military personnel to chill and have fun in the evening instead of the boring dull thing we had before
Fabulous as always. I do miss the old way you'd show the Before and After screenshots. Makes the change more dramatic

Going INSANE trying to work out how you did the corner roof? I've slowed the video down and watched it so many times and I can't for the life of me work out how to do it myself without the corner being seen in the flat part of the roof!

The original looks like a less cluttered version of a small town, in Texas, bar. If you go into one it will have tables scattered junk on the walls and be so dimly lit with furniture left where ever the patrons left them. I figure that type of vibe was why it was like it was. Great remodel btw!
I think you actually missed the mark this time Kayla. This was supposed to be a run-down, empty, boring, dingy, dive bar/saloon. You made it way too fresh and light and fun imo, especially for this being a story driven pack.

Have you seen inside the houses in the rich folk area yet? They are empty! Like literally only the things you'd need to live and that's it!😳 I think the reason the chairs were all over the place in this build though was to give us the illusion that it's where Sims have pulled their seat and and just pushed it back under the table where they want :)

I’m like midway through the video but I’m already imagining a story that could take place in this saloon/bar where there’s an outgoing (maybe a manic pixie dream girl type) girl dancing on the dance floor and she backs up and bumps into a guy sitting at the bar and they start talking and have a few drinks and its like a meet cute moment and then the girl tries to get the guy to dance and he makes a show of refusing a bunch until he finally caves and they start dancing together

simsie, I feel you. I have 3 exams this week, took one today but, they are all midterms. Plus a speech tom and every other piece of work that my other classes want me to do. Meanwhile, I am trying to sleep.
I love, love this fixer up build so much. Like someone else on here said I'm going to wait to get Strangerville until after you do all the fixes. Lol.
Seeing the truck grill on the wall really makes me want hubcaps and license plates to put on a restaurant wall.

I love the aesthetic, esp the outside, of this build, but with all of your Strangerville builds, I feel like you're overfurnishing and missing the point of this pack: it's a small, dusty town. It's boring. It's weird. Things are empty, off center, sparse--and it's supposed to be that way. Do what you wanna do ofc and I'm not saying EA are the greatest builders, but complaining about the weirdness of the builds in every video is just missing the point of the theme.

I’m in the high school chorus and today I went to the middle schools to convince eighth graders to do music. My best friend and her brother are also in chorus. He was a ‘singing valentine’, basically, he got to rickroll middle school teachers. I was a good day

I can see where you could get that vibe. But the devs pinpointed it as being like the Red Rock area of Arizona. Here is an extra clue that gave me an idea before I heard them confirm it. The Sonora Desert is the only place in the world where Saguaro cactus grow (the tall ones with the arms), so that's another clue to tell you if something is based in (or on) the Tucson/Phoenix (far western New Mexico and far Northern Mexico) area.

Beautiful build! Since the area looks like Arizona (Saguaro cactus,the tall ones with arms and all) and there is so little rain, I can see why they might have done a build with only a false front, but yours, just wow!
