( I have made few edits to this preset, I turned off both LiftGammaGain and Colourfulness and I turned on LumaSharpen )

You could do a shady motel, where the old guy was the creepy manager that lived in the motel’s basement... I think it would be really cool

The plane crash lot would be amazing as a "nightclub" or park community lot with the teen hangout trait for the younger sims to gather for a party/chill-out. Maybe even with a few tents from Outdoor Retreat and bonfires from Get Together.
Another option would be to have a gym as a small military base/barracks/boot camp. Maybe even with an underground secret lab.
In Oasis springs you could have a spa, just to get one in the save. You could do an arcade part in one of the lots too, have an internet cafe kind of thing. Maybe a public pool in the desert? A daycare centre type building, somewhere you can bring toddlers to meet each other and use toddler items. Just as a side note, can you make a playlist only with the speed builds included in the save file? I love binging those and creating a storyline for when I get my hands on it. It'd be great.
A spa and pool are definitely needed in oasis springs as well as a separate park

I love how you make your community lots multi purpose. It makes the world seem a lot bigger. I can’t wait until I get all the packs because I’m definitely playing in your save.
I really, truly love this build!! I love the dirty, vintage architectural aesthetic that we don't see a lot anymore!!! This is now one of my favourite speed builds from any speed builders because of the amount of character put into this! I hope you continue this concept with that larger community lot idea you had! I'd love to see a vintage gas station + convenience store!!
This fits so perfectly into the world! I imagine the dad of the Sigworth family would run this bar (trying to bring life back into the town) and he'd be constantly fighting with the shady mayor who wants all the towns money for himself!! Id be so happy if you could include some sort of wedding venue for Del Sol Valley😍
For Del Sol Valley, perhaps a spa? It can still have gym elements to it, but I feel like there should be a spa in DSV or Sulani. Plus a movie theater, though I don't know if it should be where the Starlight Accolades are held. That needs to be held at either a theater or a swanky lounge.
For Oasis Springs, definitely a community pool! And a bowling alley! (IIRC, you've remade Llama Lanes which would fit right in.) I'd keep the bar too, we Desert Southwesterners get real particular about having a place to quench our thirst.
Are you going to renovate the Secret Lab, Hospital and Police Station? You can edit those lots by entering a cheat, I think it would be great because then all buildings in your save file will look beautiful and blend nicely together 😊
She already edited the Secret Lab for her Let's Play. I guess she'll use that one in her savefile, too☺️

It would be awesome to see an outdoor cinema area, maybe in Oasis Springs! Where sims could go to with their "cars" on dates and just to hang out. Also I love your idea about the shady hotel on the plane crash lot in Strangerville. Love your builds! :D

A bar and a gym - there’s a combo. I really like what you did with the food stall.
I would love to see the Oasis Springs community lot strip turned into a Vegas inspired area with a bar, nightclub, bowling etc. Just a fun place for young adults to go
Turn the plane lot into an old motel made from the crashed plane!! An old plane repurposed as a motel would be amazing!!! 😆
I love the owning bars in the Sims and I tend to like my sims to live on the same lot as their business, soooooooooo I’m probably going to turn the gym to our house for the most part. Beautiful build though I love your attention to detail and how you don’t over clutter but you clutter enough to make it feel lived in and I love that.☺️ I’ve started to do that in my own bills and it takes so much more time.
I love this old western type of build. It looks soo nice. You did such a great job at putting everything together. I really love that food stall idea... I am sooo keeping that in mind for future builds.

At Ward Park in Del Sol Valley, I've just built a "food truck" but still kept the surrounding park. I never go to Ward Park because it's so small, so this is a way to bring sims into the area! I've made it an "upscale" food truck with the "up-and-coming hotspot" lot trait to attract celebrities.

The Bar Building could work really nicely for a Cafè aswell.

I do think you should move the guy who lives in the plane crash but I still would like him to live in the plane even if it is in the fancyer area of the town. Mabye you can move him up there with the plain crash and everybody doesnt think he belongs in the neighborhood and they dont really like him. Just an idea💡❤❤
I think the type of store that you were thinking of might be a 'general store'. Like a western combination grocery/survival/hunting/camping store.

Maybe make a shop or restaurant with a guy who lives in the basement with a survival shop, most people don’t know that it’s there only the people who aren’t infected. He might also kid nap the infected people and keep them somewhere and check who is making these people! I think this is a really interesting backstory and build! Hope you like it!
You could put stairs up the side of the shop with a homemade sign, like a survivalist rents the area upstairs and runs a small survival shop
This is much more useful, love it! And please don't move the plane guy :( I find him so iconic for Strangerville. But he could have a dog, like a schnauzer ❤️
W,hat a good idea, esp. since Strangerville's Military Personnel are programmed to spawn at this bar, so having it be part-gym was very clever.
I moved George into a home and made an entire family for (his kids and grandkids) and turned his lot into an industrial park, but I LOVE the idea of a motel and gas station! I might go back and change my lot to that 😊
I really love how this looks from the outside. It truly blends right into the world so fantastically. Also really do love how it just has a very stale aesthetic for the gym. It works with the military town aspect. The bar being cluttered with knickknacks and collectibles kind of make sense-in a way, it’s kind of like a museum for the town considering it is the hot spot in town too.
As for the Old Penelope lot, I think an old motel would be a fantastic addition there. However, if you wanted to make it multi-use (as you usually do with your community lots), I would say it could have been an old hotel in the past, so it has a ballroom that can be used as a wedding venue. I know you mentioned a potential gas station, but I think there is one not too far from there already?
You should do the store and move the old guy to the trailer. Maybe the guy who used to live there could live in a survival store and tell stories about the plane reck and he has lived in strangerville for his whole life

The plane crash site could be converted into a run down motel with a gas station+diner in the front. George Cahill would be the owner of the place.

In Del Sol you could include some kind of photo studio. You know those actors should be getting headshots. The building could have some premade sets to take pictures with too.
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this or if you already plan on doing this, but you could do like a rest stop diner. The front is a gas station and the building is a tiny diner. :)

There totally is a telescope cc that is usable and small! I had downloaded it 2 years ago, it is easy to place it on sims balconies and it works well, the animation is replaced with sims just staring into it but they get the same moodlet as if they were using the real, big one and you can also get pictures of space from it, the only thing you cant do is woohoo, I loved this item, I always put it in my sims' apartaments in san myshuno if I had geek sims ^^
This is an absolutely gorgeous build! I just love the style and the clutter.
I absolutely agree for more gym equipment. How fun would it be to have a bench press station (animated) and squat rack (also with animations) deadlift, like the major exercices that everybody does now in gym, because they are so basic and important. But nope, we got instead, millions of weight machines and treadmill... enought of it.

I wouldn’t get rid of the plane crash lot. I think it’s part of the Strangerville charm. I saw some suggestions of night club, and that might be fun. But even just renovating the plane crash build to be a little more cool for the guy who lives there... maybe even expanding his family?

I'm watching this suuuper late, but LittleMsSam has a mod that makes it so that it's free to hire chefs/bartenders/baristas/market stall humans. You still have to click the stall/bar/ect and select the hire option but the sim won't make a phone call for it and it doesn't cost anything. Kinda cheaty for certain scenarios but for lots like this (and various others you've built that are multi-use) it's super useful. The mod is called Free Staff and no phone call animation for marketstalls, chef, barista & bartender
I can understand the want to use the space for something else but it would be a shame to lose one of the few underground builds. If nothing else I would like to see the idea of being made of spare parts of a plane being incorporated into what you chose to build.

In the 50x50 in oasis springs, you could do a huge modern build with an aquapark and shops ans a park

Dawn, I have to compliment you because I meant to after your last community build, but I forgot. Honestly, I used to hate going out with my sims because I didn't like the community lots design/style and they just got boring but you have CHANGED my gameplay and now I love community lots because with yours, there are so many activities! I would love a toddler/child themed community lot where parents can take their kids for playdates or to get out of the house for a few hours :) I think that would be fun! Maybe a teen hangout spot as well?
ALSO, with Halloween coming up, I know you've been loving all things fall so maybe you could make a seasonal pumpkin patch or Christmas tree lot?
Lastly, I don't know if you saw my tweet on Twitter but I was thinking you could make an adorable build for a single female sim who loves to bake and garden! maybe she has her own business? instead of a typical 9-5 she makes money gardening and flower arranging and painting and baking! She can be obsessed with pinterest and always being artsy and creative! She could also be trying to adopt since she's getting older and she hasn't found "the one" so she's doing it by herself and she has an adorable yellow nursery with a lot of sunlight and she probably keeps her home super neat and clean but it also has a lot of charm! Let me know if this would be a build you're interested in! I never see people using the cupcake factory machine because it is MASSIVE but it would be a cute and fun idea!! LOVE YOU AND YOUR BUILDS!

It would be so cool if you could assign two types of lots to one space. There’s a lot of larger lots that could be a spa and gym, or bar and restaurant, or just several stores connected together.
Maybe an underground museum/weird shop with all the survival stuff and some crystals underneath the plane??
Even if u completely redo the plane crash lot, I think it would be fun to somehow still incorporate the plane crash into it somehow!

i think that should keep him in the plane crash because he is so iconic! or you can turn the lot into a resturant that he owns! (also maybe in the gym puts out propaganda for the military) Also not to be mean but were lacking more in gameplay more than were lacking in build stuff. however its okay to want more build stuff! also could you build a resturant that named after a celebrity? i just think that it would make the world feel more dynamic! in delsol valley of course!
