5 Reasons to Move to Columbia, Maryland

Columbia is the 2nd most populous place in Maryland outside Baltimore. It's often ranked as the best place to live by US News and Money. And safest place to live by WalletHub. But is that legit or just some algorithm ranking based on people who have never been there? What is it really like?

I have a soon to be 5 year old. I've seen that the elementary schools get some low marks on, what is your opinion as to why the low marks yet everyone says that HoCo is one of the best school districts out there?

I would check the specifics and report back to me since im curious. Perhaps theyre talking high schools, middle schools or they’re talking about an average. So it may be that one particular school has a low rating, but other schools have high ratings.
