As mentioned in the video, Vancouver has very little negative aspects to it. This video touches more on the type of person you are, than Vancouver it self, and that's because Vancouver is quite GREAT! 😄

~ extra tagsVancouver is known for its overall beauty, recreational activities, as well as it's rain, which ma be exactly what you've heard about it! People ask me if they should move to vancouver or canada nearly everyday, this video attempts to shed some light on the situation. Of ocurse you shjould still move to vancouver if you can, because it is great! British Columbia Canada as a whole is beautiful and a great place to live.
After living in Vancouver for 2 years I figured it was a good time to SHARE some of the things I wish I knew before moving to VANCOUVER BC, CANADA. If any of you guys are from Vancouver and have something to add onto the list, I'd love to hear it! 💯 A lot of people ask me things like; Should I move to Vancouver? Is Vancouver expensive? How much does it cost to live in Vancouver? Does it rain a lot in Vancouver? Is Vancouver a good place to live? etc... I know Canada is a highly sought after place these days for living. That's why so many people are interested and suggest these videos. The common questions I usually get and try to answer are along the lines of; Should i move to canada? should i move to canada in 2021? should i still move to canada? is canada a good place to live? is living in canada nice? is living in canada good? is canada a good place to live 2021? what you should know before moving to canada, what should i know before moving to canada? things i wish i knew before moving to canada, should i move to canada or the us? how to move to canada? how to relocate to canada? is it hard to move to canada?

Hi Adam. I'm a subscriber. Love most things Vancouver. You did exceptionally well on this one. In my opinion. For what it's worth 😃 I'm 54 . Born and raised and still here . Seen what has happened to Vancouver since the world discovered it in 1986. It's to late to turn people off to what a truly glorious place we live in. Many things change about Vancouver. Same as most places. But never ever will the nature not be it's greatest appeal. Best wishes for 2021❤

A young guy from Newfoundland moves to British Columbia and goes to a big "everything under one roof" department store looking for a job.
The Manager says, "Do you have any sales experience?"
The kid says "Yeah. I was a vacuum salesman back in Newfoundland."
Well, the boss was unsure, but he liked the kid and figured he'd give him a shot, so he gave him the job.
"You start tomorrow. I'll come down after we close and see how you did."
His first day on the job was rough, but he got through it.
After the store was locked up, the boss came down to the sales floor.
"How many customers bought something from you today?"
The kid frowns and looks at the floor and mutters, "One".
The boss says "Just one?!!? Our salespeople average sales of 20 to 30 customers a day. That will have to change, and soon if you'd like to continue your employment here. We have very strict standards for our sales force here in Vancouver. One sale a day might have been acceptable in Newfoundland, but you're not on the farm anymore, son."
The kid took his beating but continued to look at his shoes, so the boss felt kind of bad for chewing him out on his first day. He asked (semi-sarcastically), "So, how much was your one sale for?"
The kid looks up at his boss and says "$101,237.65.′′
The boss, astonished, says, "$101,237.65?!? What the heck did you sell?"
The kid says, "Well, first, I sold him some new fish hooks. Then I sold him a new fishing rod to go with his new hooks. Then I asked him where he was going fishing and he said down the coast, so I told him he was going to need a boat, so we went down to the boat department and I sold him a twin engine Chris Craft. Then he said he didn't think his Honda Civic would pull it, so I took him down to the automotive department and sold him that 4×4 Expedition."
The boss said, "A guy came in here to buy a fish hook and you sold him a boat and a TRUCK!?"
The kid said, "No, the guy came in here to buy tampons for his wife, and I said, 'Dude, your weekend's shot, you should go fishing.'"

My family moved from Vancouver all the way to Halifax, and the house we live in here in Halifax has a guest house, boat house and pool house, and the main house is HUGE compared to the house I grew up in, in Shaughnessy, and it's cheaper lol.. In Shaughnessy this house would cost between 15 and 20+ million.. We are paying 3, here in Halifax LOL.. Cheaper than some condos in Vancouver lol...There is less to do here and tiny Japanese community, in comparison to BC (i am Japanese), but i was local to the second best school in Canada, for my degree!.. Vancouver is for the wealthy or foolish.. Foolish if you go there broke lol... I'm lucky because my parents were self made millionaires before I was born.. If you are wealthy in Vancouver and move somewhere like Halifax, you'll laugh because living is so cheap lol.. I always have a huge surplus of expendable income compared to if I was in Vancouver... I'm from Japan but consider Vancouver my home, but wouldn't recommend it as the best place to live in Canada
Nobody would ask if they can wear shorts and Tshirts year round in a Canadian city lol

What I do love about Vancouver though are the people, the vibes, outdoor activities. I loved walking through Stanley Park and going to Lynn Valley in the summer. It really shows us how the media can influence the way we perceive the world and I am well positioned to say this as I have worked for a long Time in much poorer countries than The US or Canada and what this guys says is just so true!!
