if watching this does not motivate you to get up and do dem chores, I don’t know what will. 103 in the shade, no breeze, blow torch’in around archaic fuel tanks, fightin through briars, yankin’ bobtails left and right like they’re baskets of laundry. Jacob and Wiley gettin at it.
Yes, sir, I know what you mean I'm 63 I think you're doing good. I can tell you have worked hard all your life. Hope you can take it easy sometime. I watch you and Hank every night.
Excellent video Wiley. That is some heat your working in. I wouldn't worry about whining in the heat. There are some people half your age that couldn't handle that job and would give up. Remember to drink plenty of fluids and I'll see you on the next video.
Thanks for another great video. Good job Wiley and Jacob on salvation of those truck frames and parts and whatever. Thanks for teaching Jacob on the cutting of the frames. Is hard work. Will be nice to have all that area cleaned up. Good job. The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.
That frame material would make a good trailer frame! Good luck guys, it’s freakin hot everywhere brother! Not too bad in Louisiana because we’re getting rain almost every evening!
Back in the early 90,s when i first got into trucking i was a diesel grease monkey we had 5 wrecks sittin in the lower 40 i had the torches, the wrecker,4 long prybars ,bolt cutters and one other guy helping we cut the cabs loose, the engine mounts and the rears all in about 8 hours on a Saturday then the next saturday we cut tje chassis up ..... its not an easy job thats forsure ....the next seek we cut the sliders and landing gear out from under 12 totaled trailers we cleaned up the lower 40 to make the lot bigger ...even found a wrecked service truck in the bushes .. it got cut up too lol
You see that an awful lot and it shouldn't happen. Even if someone doesn't get top dollar for the rigs it's still better than the fate of these trucks. Even people will park a car or truck in their back yard to rust away when somebody would buy it if the vehicle was made available. Such a useless waste!
Get the metal hot and push the mixture lever all the way down and you’ll hear it spitting the metal through the other side! Jacob seems to be getting better and better with the torch my friend! Thanks Wiley and Jacob! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👌🏻👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸✌🏻✌🏻
I feel ur pain wiley it's been 100-104 degrees here in tx for 2 weeks with 113 degree heat index and not a drop of rain since may. Good job and thanks for sharin brother
Good job get you s 40 yard box sett out there from a scrap co.for all that come and pick it up for you all you sure do work hard willey done a great job hope you do another video on loading those trucks again going to Mexico.
Hello, I found your channel and I'm really enjoying your videos. I'm a truck mechanic here in Brazil, it's a shame some vehicles have this end. For us here in Brazil it is so difficult to have parts for VOLVO D13 engines (cylinder head mainly) Success to you and the boy. I'm watching all your videos. One doubt, what is that ETHER spray that Mr. do you use to help with starting?
For me, i try to put it on something that will burn incase i loose my fire will trimming I probably didn’t say the right but if i loose the flame i have a fire there to relight
Why are these going all the way to Guatemala ?? Scrap steel ?? If so they must have sold very cheap, to be able to ship them that far. Did the Other trucks make it to Guatemala ?
hola esto van con semi cada uno de esos cuánto cuesta cada tráiler con el camión internacional o volvo con su tráiler que tenía que tuvieron que cortar un abrazo gracias
Never easy cutting stuff apart but ur lad is learning really well under ur guidence gas cutting is a bitch by its self but when its hot its a bitch nice job both of u 👍🔥
Always heartbreaking to see perfect parts like the hood get broken for scrap. Guess there's no demand for secondhand parts like that in the US. Meantime over here in Africa, there's nothing available. Especially for conventionals.
Now that everything is removed well see this on marketplace ....i can see the add already ..... " low miles great starter truck , never used in rain or snow , ac needs a charge , just needs a battery dont have time to throw one in .......35k will not respond to is this available no lowballers i know what i got " 😅😅😅 the ones i run across that "just need a battery dont have time to change " always get me laughing !!!!!!
Thank you for sharing team😊 Those old semi,s make good big bale wagons.😊

Excellent video Wiley. That is some heat your working in. I wouldn't worry about whining in the heat. There are some people half your age that couldn't handle that job and would give up. Remember to drink plenty of fluids and I'll see you on the next video.

Wiley, I appreciate the hard work you guys do that wasn't easy, especially when it's hot. Love the channel, buddy 👍
Thank you
I know it was hot but that was a lot of hard work y'all did a good job
Good job! But I really don’t understand why all those trucks and trailers were just parked and left they must’ve been worth a lot of money.
You see that an awful lot and it shouldn't happen. Even if someone doesn't get top dollar for the rigs it's still better than the fate of these trucks. Even people will park a car or truck in their back yard to rust away when somebody would buy it if the vehicle was made available. Such a useless waste!
Great to see those parts going to be repurposed! Wiley you and your son make a great team!
Thank you
Fine job sir

The wires and hoses were holding the cab, just some cutters or a cutting disk onto a grinder would take care of everything that was holding it!
Cut the little u-bolts on the drive shaft and take a hammer and knock it off! lol 😂
Dang, that first white volvo like my 99. Been a great parts truck for me. Gonna be the last truck i own hopefully. I coulda used the front bumper. Lol
I may have a bumper for one
Thanks for watching

I've seen other guys hold a torch close to a surface to light it. I've never had to do this. What's the purpose?
For me, i try to put it on something that will burn incase i loose my fire will trimming I probably didn’t say the right but if i loose the flame i have a fire there to relight

Thanks for watching
Damn. I hope that you didn't destroy that N14 red top motor. They are getting kinda hard to find
Why are these going all the way to Guatemala ??
Scrap steel ?? If so they must have sold very cheap, to be able to ship them that far. Did the Other trucks make it to Guatemala ?
Good video. You played football with my wife's uncle Marty
Curry? Yes i did I seen him not too long ago at the store
Y’all need a big shade tree to work under my friend!
