Probably 12.7 430/470 hp. That interior is in great shape just needs cleaning. Got that button tuck, which was fancy. The fuel gauge looked like it was on or close to empty it may not be getting fuel from the tank. Or it may have a low water shut down sensor not letting it start. That truck just needs a good service and probably new wheel seals and new tires and it will be good to go.

I only drove a Series 60 12.7 for a couple days back in the 90's. To me it did not feel much different than the CAT I normally drove. Very flexible operating range.

Unusual or old equipment is far more interesting in my opinion. Most of these trucks appear typical. Speaking for myself I'm probably subscribed to 200 channels. I don't subscribe arbitrarily there has to be something very interesting. You, Wally are interesting on your own and entertaining to watch.

Wiley, I wouldn’t worry about the brakes being spongy these trucks from the 90s on it up have a limit break power when the trailer is disconnected and your bobtailing so you don’t lock the brakes up so easy😊

Those Volvos are still good tractors the 60 series Detroit that's in the Freightliner were very good Motors. It should have a horsepower rating on a metal plate on the valve cover

Look on the valve cover. There is a tag on the side that gives you all the engine info. Some freightliners have a tag in the glove box. You have to have the radiator full also. It has a low water sensor in the tank that shuts the engine down with low water. Good Luck with your Projects. Stay Safe out There 🇺🇸

I don’t personally think that truck has as many miles as you think the pedals are in good condition, the steering wheels in good condition, as well as the shifter being a truck mechanic for over 20 years, I can tell you that Truck is most likely low mileage and spent most of its life as a spare.
