Hey man, thank for the kind comment, I really appreciate it as a small youtuber. I actually just bought a 3080 I'm gonna be doing a review on. Much appreciated and thank you once again!
I did the exact same thing with my monitor except it supports freesync and not gsync 🤦🤦 still not over it. Loved the vod btw might just buy those fans the next time I upgrade
your display probably supports freesync? have you checked in radeon adrenalin? I have a lg display aswell with only a g-sync sticker. it still have freesync support and i would bet your display have aswell
Since you're also Canadian, maybe you can answer a question for me... I hope... This PC is for sale and I wanted you to critique it so I know if it's worth it. Specs: CPU: R5-5600 CPU Cooler: Antec T120 Chromatic RAM: 32GB DDR4-3600 CL18 MOBO: B550M GPU: RX 5700 XT 8GB Storage: 512GB PCIe3x4 NVMe PSU: Thermaltake 650W 80+Bronze Case: mATX Mini Tower Windows 10 Pro Retail Key (Transferrable) $1000 (No tax) The case, mobo, NVMe, CPU Cooler, Retail Key and PSU are all brand-new. The CPU, GPU and RAM are used but I've seen the seller stress-test them before my eyes. It averages 79FPS at 1080p using Hardware Unboxed's optimised performance settings in the Black Myth Wukong benchmark and averages about 63FPS in Star Wars Outlaws at 1080p medium (I've seen it first-hand because the seller let me try it out). The seller is a pretty cool guy and is being very patient because he knows that $1000CAD is a lot to part with so he's letting me take my time and research things, which I appreciate. Do you think that $1000CAD (no tax) is a good price for this setup? I have to admit that the fact it can do so well in the Wukong benchmark and in Outlaws is really impressive because those games are really tough on hardware. It's a lot of money but compared to everything else I've looked at, it seems like a steal. What do you think?
@@AvroBellow I would say that it's a fair deal. The CPU, RAM and MOBO are all pretty good. The GPU is a bit old and you can do much better in that price range. You can probably find something with a 6700XT or a 3070 which would handily outperform the 5700XT, which is closing in on being 3 generations old. That's like an RTX 2060 Super. The PSU is also not fantastic even if it's new. Not that this build is bad or anything but it should really be around $850 for you to take it home n
@@savageazn69 Thank you! I know the RX 5700 XT is old but I just want to game at 1080p and I know that it out-performs the RX 6600 so its age isn't something I'm worried about, especially since I've looked around and so many channels are calling it "the best budget GPU in 2024" that I looked into it and I was impressed. The demonstration in those modern games blew me away too. I'll try talking him down, he seems reasonable. Thank you so much for your quick response!

Nice video thank you!
Congrats! Nice vid, keep it up :) Its nice to see a realistic build and the progress you're making in the build, really relatable!

@@RobertFixit unfortunately these days that's the case (if your talking brand new systems)

@@og_shrug LOL, I'm looking at finding an RTX 3080 for about $500 CAD just because of that

@@mwuw Yeah I checked in Adrenalin and even looked up the specific model number, sadly this one doesn't offer Freesync at all 😭
