Thanks for the comment, Stuart. We're plant folks and are looking for additional help with videography and editing. Hopefully, we'll get additional footage this year.
@@waterwisegardeningllc79 I thought the same...as soon as the snipping started I wanted a close up! I think they’re pretty hardy shrubs and I likely can’t go too wrong!
What do you recommend with phenomenal lavender? I planted this year in April and they bloomed. Now the stems are starting to turn yellow on some of the plants. Is this a problem or normal?
Lavender Phenomenal and all other lavenders should be deadheaded after blooming in spring or summer. Cut the old flowering stem back just as it sticks out of the foliage. If some of the plants are turning yellow, it suggests to me that they may be overwatered. They will only need watering twice weekly at this point with a gallon of water each time. If watering is more frequent, cut back to the schedule suggested above. If you used a compost or wood chip or bark mulch, pull it back any mulch around the yellow plants to reveal the bare soil.
I got a lavender plant and planted 1 of them in the ground but it started turning brown. Some of it is still alive though. Will it come back if i deadhead it?
Your video is short and sweet. Cuts (pun intended) to the point and exactly what I wanted to know.
(Most can learn from you!) Thank you again.
Thank you, Karen :)
Thank you ❤!
Should edit this to include a close up of the location for the cut

Just the tip. 🤣🤣
Edit: The look at 1:19 he gave me after I posted the comment was eerie.
Thank You.

Perhaps. Is it strongly rooted and pushing new growth?
