    I truly appreciate your honest testimony. I will be having a total hysterectomy and vaginal reconstruction surgery sometime in the next 2 months. I have been feeling so sick and exhausted. I even had to quit my part-time job. I just want to feel healthy and like myself again.
    Your video here is from some time ago, but I certainly hope you have totally recovered. Thanks, and God bless.

      I have totally recovered, and that hysterectomy was the best thing ever. I feel so good now. I wish the same for you.

    Angie you made these videos for you and me. About the time you had your hysterectomy I was getting test done and later DNC (Dec 10) .Just found out Monday a week ago that I have adenocarcinoma. Friday talked to the oncologist I will be having a full hysterectomy January 19th ( overies. , fallopian tubes) . Your frankness about everything has helped me tremendously. Love you Angie

    Hi 👋🏼, I am so happy to hear you are feeling better and healing well! Thank you for explaining your experience throughout your journey; this is truly helping me before my surgery in February. I also suffer from pain and cramping after sex which makes it less pleasurable. I hope and pray 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 I will have the same outcome. Blessings to you and your family~ Merry Christmas 🎄.

    Thank you so much for sharing your story! For a year I felt like I was losing my mind over the last year with the pain from post ablation syndrome. With lots of trips to the ER for pain during covid and pushing the issue with my gyno doctor I am finally on the waiting list for a hysterectomy. Your videos are inspirational and give me hope! So happy you are doing good and enjoying life💜

    Btw, I about fell out of my chair when you said your age. I'm usually very accurate with people's ages, but I thought you were late 30's, MAYBE early 40's!

    Thank you Angie and others for your info! So glad you mentioned about the protein! Had the same surgery, I’m 3 wks post-op been bleeding since day 10. Went to ER, has CT scan. Couldn’t find source of bleeding. Had silver nitrate twice and still bleeding. Any other ladies have this experience? When did the bleeding stop for you? Please share. Thank you!

    Sharing for other ladies living this post surgery and have a vaginal cuff. At the 3.5 week mark my doc did a pelvic which I didn’t expect until week 6. So, if your doc suggests this pre surgery I recommend taking Tylenol to help w the tenderness . Also , at that stage they saw a lil opening in my cuff so put silver nitrate which stings !!! So , if you think you’ll get that applied I suggest taking 1/2 a pain med vs just Tylenol esp if you are more sensitive . Just sharing so you are prepared and not in pain !!! We all got this

    Hi! I had a total hysterectomy almost 4 weeks ago. My first two weeks I felt I was healing and walking good. I was off work for 2 weeks . When I went back we had a training and was sitting for about 4-5 hours. Since then I and not been the same. I managed to work 4 days that week but left early the last two days because I began experiencing pain on my lower abdomen and it would just hurt to walk. The only comfortable position is laying down. I’m afraid I damaged something or over did it. I searched online that sitting up right on a chair will put a lot of stress on your core. My doctor has been out of town for a week so I can’t even call her.😟

    Hi Angie, thank you for being so open. I am day 11 and have begun spotting/light bleeding at day 9 and in tears bc I had this hysterectomy done due to heavy menstrual bleeding. Was your spotting very heavy & how many days did it last? I read things that say it's normal and also that say it's not. Thank you. 🌺

    • @AngieWade
      @AngieWade  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Mine lasted for almost 3 weeks. I was healing slowly. My doctor had me increase my protein to help with healing. So I started drinking protein shakes for about a month. That helped me. I hope you start to feel better soon. I feel very well over a year later now. I’m happy I had my hysterectomy.

      I am 2.5 weeks out and have started having heavy bleeding as well. My Dr is out so I go in tomorrow but I’m nervous. Thank you Angie for the videos. It really helps when you don’t personally know anyone to talk to about these things.
