    Yes... As a locopilot my experience is amazing. The track is so good and many time we overtake raajdhani... Because passenger train stoppage and goods train run continously. Yes DFC can change the Indian economy structure.

      @@varunmittal3617 South India has good cargo transportation facility through sea and ports. Ships are more efficient than rail. So, I don't think there is much benefit in building such line in south India.

    Recently Western DFC (till Sanand- GJ) has been connected with Eastern DFC (Sonnagar-BR).
    So only 3 sections are left for completion:
    1. WDFC (Sanand- JNPT)
    2. EDFC (Ludhiana- Dadri)
    3. EDFC (Sonnagar- Dankuni)

    What about another busy route between Kolkata -Kharagpur-jamshedpur- rourkela
    bhilai -nagpur-bombay heavily congested rail and road traffic which carries heavy commodities from jharkhand-chattisgarh
    -bengal- maharashtra. And home to India's mining belt, heavy industries belt!

    Also mention the deadline otherwise everything only in planning phase will not do any good. And besides goods train government need to build fenced passenger tracks. India is way large for such slow speed of progress.

    You made a small mistake in the beginning. A diagonal is a line connecting two opposite sides of a quadrilateral. In this case it will be a North -South corridor and an East-West corridor. EDFC and WDFC make up two adjacent sides of golden quadrilateral not diagonals.

    पहले freight equalisation policy और अब freight corridor,ये कोई विकास नहीं ये पूर्वी भारत का खनिज लूटने का system है विकास करना ही होता तो industrial corridor,indian union से अलग होना ही पूर्वी भारत का स्वर्णिम भविष्य है ,अंग्रेजो से ज्यादा दिल्ली लूटा है हमे

    Up expressway frights trains it can make UP manufacturing iT agriculture processing defence corridors export hub UP alone will be 2 trillion dollars economy 2035🎉 in some years if they utilise it correctly.

      UP don't have skilled labours for manufacturing and infra real estate sector and don't have highly educated better employees for service sector, UP's current literacy rate is less than 68%, UP don't have growth in service sector that much, same applies for manufacturing sector, UP's economy primarily based on Agri. Sector, also too much population to handle, Tax payers are less than Gujarat, GDP growth rate of UP also low compare to other big states, UP attracted less FDI inflow than MP last year...
      I know UP is growing and UP has lots of potential to grow but work has to be done in education/infra/manufacturing and service sector...
      Most likely UP will achieve 2 trillion Target by 2045... And 1 trillion target by 2035...
