    I absolutely love starting my morning by getting up early, drinking my coffee in my chair while gazing outside. I read a bible verse or two, meditate and pray. I also do about 15-20 minutes of yoga and stretching. I dry brush prior to my shower which totally invigorates me. Getting lunches ready the night before is a must so I’m not running around like a crazy woman. 😆.

    I like slow mornings too. I get up 15 minutes earlier to prepare and sit while drinking my coffee.

    mindful mornings really matter! love starting my day in the right headspace. gratitude helps me a lot in the mornings and writing what i'm grateful for down.

    I’m such a morning person and I like to start my mornings slowly and peacefully. I start my days with meditating, reading by the fire place, and sometimes yoga! It’s soooo nice and I noticed my anxiety throughout the day is a lot less intense because I start the day calmly! And I never ever skip a day without parting the curtains to let light in first thing when I get out of bed! I love natural lighting. I am bad about making my bed lol but I try!

      All of those things!!! Also, meditation by the fireplace sounds divine. I haven't done yoga in a while but I've been wanting to lately!

    I’ve been searching for a video like this! The last couple of weeks I’ve realised that my morninghabits were unhealthy. Turning on phone as soon as I got up, stressing with a “Go-go-go”-mindset from the minute I got out of bed. So thank you for making this. 💖 I really needed some motivation and reminders on how to have a more mindful start of the day.

    I love journaling first thing in the morning. I leave my phone in my room, light a candle, then snuggle up on the couch with my dogs while I write in my journal. After this I make my coffee and read for 10-15 minutes (or more depending on my timing). The journaling and reading has been so helpful for me!

    8 sit down and enjoy your breakfast
    9 Review/reflect (to do/meditate)

    Wonderful tips! I like to wake up early and read every morning. This gets my mind going and I also find it relaxing. I just really like that I’m using a quiet time to read and learn.

    I've changed my alarm to wake up a few minutes earlier every few days. Now I'm waking up ten minutes earlier than before and I have so much more time in the morning and I'm not rushing out the door. It's quite nice.

    I recommend trying peaceful and productive routines to figure out what works. Well, I am an early person and I tried „peaceful“ morning routines, but I figured out that I have to be productive immediately. Otherwise a peaceful morning becomes a lazy day.

      Zodiac Blac I’m a single mom... I used to do this. But my worklife have been stressful, so I haven’t been to good this year. But it is possible. To make this possible I wake up an hour before my kid. (Mind you, that I am in full time nursingschool and work on the side) ☺️ so of course it’s possible.

    I usually listen to some music, maybe Jazz or classic in the morning before and during making my breakfast. It really creates a soothing atmosphere and turns my whole day into gorgeous experience.

    Great video! Really enjoyed it. I recently have implemented the 555 method which is AWESOME and a true game changer. I highly recommend it. 5 mins of yoga & 5 mins of meditation & 5 mins to journal/set your intentions for the day/write down 1 thing you are grateful. My entire life has changed and it all started with 15 mins. Much love to all ❤

    I appreciate ur content because it makes me feel calm when I watch it but also, the fact ur doing ballet as an adult I find so inspiring. U wanted to do it and u are.     Create a "launch pad" the night before- where you put the little things you need to grab before you head out the door, i.e. sunglasses, keys, purse, etc. It saves you from having those stressful "I need to be leaving right now and can't find my phone!" moments. The term launch pad is from the Fly Lady.
    Thank you for this video. I love to stop into my mornings calmly. It makes a huge difference for my daily mindset!

    My favorite thing I've recently added to my morning routine is taking a few minutes to just play with my dogs. Those five minutes or so really brighten my morning and keep me from racing through getting ready with my head in a whirl over all the things I need to do. :)

    I always open up my curtains and make my bed in the morning. Those are my must. I also take the time to drink my morning coffee even if it's just a minute or two. I realized slow morning are better for me and so I try to get up a earlier for work whenever I can.

    Hi Meghan, love your content and channel. I have a question on breakfast, from a nutritionist perspective do we really need to have breakfast? I personally hate eating anything but coffee or tea before 11AM, and by then I just rather wait till lunch time.

      Anny Whetzel as I’ve been told when I was younger, the first meal you have fills you up in the morning, and you need nutrition to keep on going throughout the day

      I find it I can psych myself up a few days before I need to eat breakfast or meet someone for breakfast this helps. Other days when my stomach doesn't feel ready for breakfast, I go really light with a waffle, egg, toast or muffin as I don't usually feel like eating or feel woken up until lunch.
