What a great idea to sell us what you find in the resale shops! I gasp the same way you do when I’m excited. It drives my husband insane especially when he’s driving. Love this type of video!
Julie, you're a hoot! This was so much fun! The only thing that would make it better would be if I had been there with you. You have a good eye - should open a little stall in Italy! 😉Uh oh! Am I giving you ideas?
If I were better off financially, I would come stay at the cottage and go to all the flea markets, antique stores and in my dream go mudlarking with Nicola White, Manchester Mudlarks, or Northern Mudlarks! If you ever come across a mini clay ink pot that has the fingerprint smudged in the clay that would be popular, at least to me! In the US, we just don't have much English stoneware like that and marmalade pots in our area! Thanks for taking us along❤
I love those thrift stores, but now that I’m old I’m starting to give a lot of my stuff away to family, friends, etc. I don’t want my kids to have to deal with it when I’m gone. But it was a fun ride.😁 thank you for taking us along.
I LOVE shopping with you! So fun and love to live your life. All though busy and challenging you guys handle it well. God will not give you more than you can handle ❤
Oooooh!!! I love that you are flea and thrift shopping! I have two or three coronation mugs which my sister-in-law gave me from when she and my brother lived up in Sawtry, Cambridgeshire, at a sweet caretaker's house called Woodfield Farmhouse. She was always finding wonderful things at the local thriftshops. Later, just before they moved home from England in mid-2005, I took my two children over to visit over Easter/Spring break (17 days). I LOVE that you have those bathroom, heated towel racks, vented shelves in closets with heaters inside (at least some), and Wendy houses! My kids had the best time playing in the fields, walking an ancient Roman road through Woodfield farm, and visiting London's museums, and antiquing w/ Mom and Auntie. Happy thrifting! 💞
So many beautiful treasures! I love how you get so excited when you find something! I share your excitement! I love finding treasures! Loved hearing the seagulls in the background. I love everything English and Italian! My grandmother’s family on the maternal side, came from England and I have always been a lover of all things British. As for Italy, I absolutely love Italy and can’t wait to visit! I can’t wait to see all the treasures you find!
Love, love, love your rusty patina bathtub. I would never have thought of it, but what a creative idea. Loved antiquing with you. Your enthusiasm is so contagious.
My husband gave me a small table for Christmas many years ago. The base was the restored base of a singer sewing machine. The table top is made out of a beautiful piece of oak. It is such a treasured gift!
Viscountess- though the English antique shops are intriguing, the French and Italian seem to have a far greater range of pre- 1800s at reasonable prices, the brass weight we noticed were in Kilograms so these maybe of European authenticity. We adore be able to join your on your antiquity adventures, thank you and God Bless 😇🙏🏰
This is so exciting! I like the blue and white salt and pepper shakers; since covid I've been collecting antique spode blue and white platters. I feel the same; about the hoarder thing! I have been looking for a Welch dresser in in the United States; they're like $13000. Then I think I just turned 60 in June; I'd have to clean my house out before I died. None of my family would have my New England taste in furniture. ❤ This is so much fun Julie!!!
Julie, you could turn your love of flea market shopping for people in other countries by procuring items for them. I really enjoy watching you shop, you are delightful.
Well it’s August 13th and I am in Kent England. The weather is scorching this week, and I am sitting in my garden with a glass of wine while looking at this video. It isn’t always cold in England in August, it hit 34 degrees yesterday!
The inlaid marble box is cute but the lid was broken and glued it appears. I've never seen a more beautiful marble than your coffee table. And being a desert dweller I enjoyed listening to the seagulls in the background!
We were cruising so just now watching this video. I love shopping with you in all the markets!! I hope to visit Mapperton soon and we are currently looking for a small home in Italy!! The choices and prices are unbelievable!! Now get shopping...I'm ready !
Hi Julie! Love this video and all the treasures found and shown! Would love to be considered for one of laddles. I love soups and cook a lot of them, especially for the fall and winter. I could see using the laddle over and over in my kitchen. Anywho, thank you for your channel, I do enjoy you so. Greetings from NYC!💜
I want that tin! I’m an artist and I love to collect tins like that for my paints and such as a little pochadebox…..shipping will be simple, I want it all lol, one box shipped/…..hahahah. Seriously though. I love it all.
I have a suggestion that I think would be perfect for the video you have on “my little Italian house flea market finds a new kitchen remodel. “I would put in that dead space in back of the white chair lighted glass shelving with beautiful glass objects, but absolutely light that dead space with glass shelves !!!
I spotted your stove in the kitchen, I have been so waiting to see it. Love all your pieces as well, I just can’t commit to purchasing anything until I stop travelling and finally hang my hat. Maybe by then I will choose Italy. It seems to be too cold to want to hang my hat in England, even though I love it and it is where my great grandparents originated.
Love this video - so fun to wander around the antique mall with you! Regarding candlesticks, I would love to find authentic vintage chamberstick candle holders, in iron or brass. The kind with the little round finger holder. I have a hard time finding those here.
Julie, I collect Fleur dis lis‘s. If you ever find any, can you put them up and I will buy them they can be cast-iron anything I have them all over I’m sure you know it means flower of the lily and I have been collecting them for years, I have jewelry everything.
Hi Julie, thanks for the fun tour of some very special things. It's probably a bit daunting choosing objects to sell on your site. There's a lot to decide what is to your taste and how to build your brand. I strongly urge you to research the history of how these objects were created and by whom within the British Empire. It would be a Karmic shame to be selling something made by slave or indentured labor for the sake of trade back to England and points beyond. Many cultures believe that people's souls are connected to the objects that they made or owned, and that the objects, made in suffering, should be destroyed. It's probably more than most people want to think about, but it matters to some.
Hi Julie-I was just thinking about you when I was watching Dreaming of a Chateau with Sergi, Ala, and their dog Sherrie. They are in Oro’ on Lake Como. The Bedrooms and Garden are amazing! Ala is an artist and does spectacular murals on all of the rooms. Late 19th century decor including the canopies over the beds. They put out content every day and have a garden that is terraced and a mess a year ago and now is just a magnificent garden-you will love the content if you find an episode of the murals, you will be hooked! Check them out!
Ohhh yees I love brass candlesticks! I also love your hat. Can you dear Julie give us a hint, s is a mans hat? it was much fun to walk with you through the Fleamarket. Thanks! ; ))
Brass candlestick holders can date back to the 17th century though they don't always look old if they have a push pin in the bottom or a hole on the side to and a mechanized button to raise the candle good chance they are 19th century or older
I am so happy to see all your finds but most of it you are very aware of prices and the sides of the objects, l think is fantastic because, maybe is possible for us to get one of those little treasures. Please say thank you to the person that records all your videos, nice. Bye for now.
Absolute love your flea market visits and amazing finds big and small, I suspect that there has been an uptick in footfall to flea markets as a result from your subscribers. Have you seriously thought about setting up your own flea market on the Mapperton estate in one of the disused outbuildings and inviting venders to rent space during the tourist season when the house and gardens are open to the public as an added visitor attraction? That was a brandy/cognac jubilee glass rather than a glass whisky tumbler.
I love it when you shop in flea markets, thank u. Please continue wherever you are in the world
Thank you, I will
Yes Please!!!
Julie, I absolutely love the self talk you do as your hunting for treasures.
Well that was fun!
What a fantastic shop, so many gorgeous things.
Julie you made the best decision on keeping the rust on that beautiful tub. I love it.
I was not finished shopping yet~ we need to make a day of this!! Much love 💕

Totally!
Always fun seeing which items you choose. Love shopping with you in these flea markets.
Glad you like them!
That trinket box is gorgeous!
Julie, you must keep that mug to go with your collection. You will never regret it. You will appreciate it more than anyone ❤
Oh my, Julie, what a fun place! Love from Pennsylvania, USA 💕🌷🐻

Those brass weights were wonderful.
Oh my goodness!! Love the scotties!! I have two, Letty and Finn. And because of them, I now have a collection of scottie dog things ❤❤❤😊
Yes to the candlesticks I could always use more Julie also the sunburst mirror at 10:22 is beautiful ❤❤
That weight set-- you could possibly put felt on the bottoms so they don't leave a mark.
I think I prefer the round mirror.
Thank you for taking us along on your shopping adventure. I really enjoyed it! 🌸
I'm so glad!

Brass candle stocks are great for Christmas Decor surrounded with greenery.
The inlaid marble box is cute but the lid was broken and glued it appears. I've never seen a more beautiful marble than your coffee table. And being a desert dweller I enjoyed listening to the seagulls in the background!
You have so many pieces of furniture at the manor in the barns on the property that you could open up your own used household items at Mapperton.
Your videos are meant for travel channel. So professional
We were cruising so just now watching this video. I love shopping with you in all the markets!! I hope to visit Mapperton soon and we are currently looking for a small home in Italy!! The choices and prices are unbelievable!! Now get shopping...I'm ready !
Fantastic. I don’t buy anything and just admire what you choose. You have wonderful taste.
Thank you so much!
That's called a trivet for putting hot pots on
Sand the chairs to match the table top and order colorful floral seat pads 😊
Hi Julie, the fish marble pen holder would to be nice to have too.

Julie you inspired me to go do some antique shopping myself today - came home with a gorgeous vintage lamp and round table. :)
Wonderful!
Yes to the plate/pot trivet! 🤩
Omg Julie you have such an incredible style and esthetic. The stuff is sick!! You really should have a business with this. I’m dying. ❤
Thank you so much!!!

I prefer the Edwardian one!!
It's so hot in Spain now that I wish I was in England, but I cannot afford it. Enjoy your jolly life.
Love this video - so fun to wander around the antique mall with you! Regarding candlesticks, I would love to find authentic vintage chamberstick candle holders, in iron or brass. The kind with the little round finger holder. I have a hard time finding those here.
But, wait...😅 Yesterday’s Instagram seemed to come from France?!? Hope you got to France for a vacation! 😊☀️
Love the flea market finds ❤❤❤❤❤
A lot of ladies love to collect birds- glass, china, brass. Just an idea for you

Aren't those horse brasses actually bottle openers? This was fun, I love shopping the antique malls and flea markets.
Thanks Julie, this was such fun 🤩
You are so welcome!
Good afternoon 👋❤️🇨🇦
I would be in trouble if I went thrifting in England. I would need extra luggage!
Hi Julie !! The painting on the wall with the tree Borzoi heads , The Sighthounds. How much is it ?
Julie the lid of the trinket box is broke in half and glued back. 😮
I want the Edwardian Mirror!

The mirror trinket box was pretty but I have seen them EVERYWHERE. You don't need to go to Europe to find one.
Hello July 😊!!
Fun with you today
