I've put a lot of thought into this new channel, @julieinitaly and decided now is the perfect time to take the plunge. My @AmericanViscountess TH-cam channel has seen incredible growth since its inception, now boasting over 213k subscribers. All the furnishings are light and airy, simple and warm. We know it was a lot of work to get it that way, we saw the time lapse. Cannot wait to see the finished project.

Beautiful Julie! The Sitting Room looks British to me, and of course knowing it's right there in Northern Italy, is a Big Bonus point. The Terrace is fantastic! Hi, I just discovered your new channel. I am extremely impressed by the incredible job you have done with your new home. I think you should change jobs immediately and become an interior decorator for regular folks who can’t afford to spend $100,000+ on new decorating. You definitely have the magic touch and vision. When I saw you walk into the place where you got the sewing machine, I thought “That’s all garbage. She’ll never find anything of use there.” Boy, was I wrong!!! In the guest bedroom, two maps hang on the wall with the door. They seem to be hanging too high. I suggest lowering them so their top edge is the same as the top of your door molding. Often the recommendation is to hang the object so that the center of it is at the center of your field of vision. Obviously, that will depend on how tall you are but I mention it in case it helps. You are creating such a beautiful space..
A peg rail has been installed as not enough space for a wardrobe. That’s why the prints are higher

Love the terrace. You did a great job to fix the furniture in 6 hours. A small shoecabinet took me a whole day. 😅. Are you going to paint the walls of the terrace? Thank you for the video. I enjoy it.🌷

Love the gues5 bedroom too. The pendant light is a very nice touch . Ilove the crisp color schemes you have going on. Too many patterns look cluttered and are noy calming. Your design are very pretty and sophisticated.

Hi Julie, before you remove the tall poles from the terrace, have you considered stringing party lights from them? They are perfectly positioned to drape string lights from them back over your seating. I'm loving all your hard work. Thanks for sharing.

Love your hair. The grey wall paint looks lovely. Consider that painting the steps black will contrast with the wooden upstairs flooring. Very quckly the stairs will show wear from foot traffic.

Admire your vision and your energy! Love those mirrors! The little touches like the new bedskirts add so much! Love the terrace. Maybe add a big outdoor umbrella that swings over the seating area when open. Or maybe build a pergola?

Your terrace is very open to the sun, wind and weather in general. What will you be using to shade you from the hot summer sun? It's great that you have a space for entertaining, I only hope that your guests are respectful to your close neighbours in the wee hours after a few glasses on vino !!
Julie ur little itailian house is coming together so lovely ...its starting to feel like a warm full of heart home now ...u have done an incredible job of putting everything together and all ur little finds from around the world and locally are really cool and fit perfectly into their forever homes ... IMHO this place has so much heart now and suits a family setting to a T what a special place to have for a couples or family getaways ...u really have something special in that home and u have done wonders to make it shine !!! i hope it brings ur family so much joy for many years to come !!!

Everything is coming together really lovely. Its a beautiful house. Italy is one of my favorite places. I have 2 small things I thought I would mention, see what you think. The sofa in the sitting room. Love the color of it by the way, but isnt it in the way between the path of the front door and the side door and the stairs? That whole little strip there is a clear path between your doors and your stairs. I feel like your dodging the sofa as soon as u come in a door and fighting it if your heading up and down the stairs.🤔 Then on the terrace the chair you have is pushed in front of the end of the sofa where someone would set, so they would be fighting the chair with their knees, plus the person sitting in the chair now has to constantly do a 90degrees with their head if they are talking to the person sitting on the end of the sofa thats fighting with their knees against the chair..lol Just thinking out loud. The view from terrace is magnifico!😘

Ah, Julie .. I just love, love, love, seeing how you’re transforming your gorgeous little home !! It’s so beautiful and I’d give the world to be able to live in a small Italian town like this. Although we’re in Canada, we’re thinking of possibly spending some time in Italy (in an Air BnB maybe) so we can at least enjoy that relaxed (but healthier) lifestyle for part of the year.
