Fantastic room and setup ! I can imagine many many hours hanging out and enjoying music in this space. Congrats on having a vision and being able to bring it all together.
As a lot of people havd remarked, this is by far the Best music room I've ever, ever seen. Gobsmacked by the eclectic range of music on display. Awesome dude.
Wow man, that’s absolutely incredible! I’m on the younger side of collectors, I turn 24 at the end of December, I got into collecting records around 2012, and your TH-cam channel was the first record collecting channel I found, and let me tell ya, your videos have always been an inspiration & fuel to my fire for collecting music. Awesome room tour!

Moving does suck, but I do always get excited about setting up another music room when I do. That part is always a blast to me and kind of "refreshes" my collection for me.
Amazing collection! And that's coming from a guy who used to own a comic book store full of cool stuff and collectibles. It's a pleasure watching videos like this of people who truly love music. Thanks! 🤘
Love the Excel Spreadsheet - I started mine back in 2004 and it's my 'living' inventory - and yes, I back up the back up and use the cloud obviously :). Great tour and organization. thanks.
Yes! I've been waiting for this. Absolutely love it, Brandon! You really figure out your space and how to perfectly place every item. I never knew you put the condition/value stickers on your sleeves. I found that very interesting. I'm sure getting everything just so and the attention to detail you put in is a lot of work but the pay off is totally worth it. Thanks for the tour! I love it! Take care. - Bill
" Morning , I Love it, can't beat choosing some thing of a shelf to play. And there's no shortage there!! 😀. Like Chris,s Comment says thats better than any Record shop!!! Lovely Hifi Equipment too. Still love the Marantz Reciver( had a quick look on Ebay at that model, there not cheap 😯 haha) nice though!! And a Motorhead cushion to rest your back wile listening....!! Can it get any better?? 😊 Cheers Grant.
Thanks my friend. Indeed, it is insane what theose 2275s are going for now. I'm so glad I got into vinyl a number of years before this resurgence. Many of the albums that people are just craving and paying $150 for today I bought in mint condition for $10 just a few years ago lol. Even that Marantz was only a $100 lol. I can't imagine starting as a collector right now. How the heck do people afford it?!! LOL
Hi Brandon," Just saw your name a few times in the Comments" . Trouble is LPS, And 70s Hi-Fi there not worth any thing really. Its just what people are selling them for, and people will pay...haha! (Nostalgia) But at the Same time there Bloody Fantastic, Great Analogue sound, and Great to look and Fiddle with....And we love them!!!! 😁. My Uncle Ross, he's got a big Room full of LPs/Tapes/ cds......books Vhs dvds.......so on! Been collecting since a early 70s. I alway were amazed and still am!! Ha. And I bet he's not insured for them like you or has a data base! I,ll catch up with some more of your Vids. O and you have Great taste in Music 🎶 . Queen & AC/DC are my top 2. Do you have a 'AV' System for View DVD, BLUERAY, VHS..so on? Cheers Grant.😊
I was drooling man..lol absolutely without a doubt the coolest music room in the VC! It's better than some record stores I've seen, absolutely amazing Brandon. Honestly without brown nosing anybody you and Frank from channel 33 are the reason I started making videos.
Fantastic video Brandon! I love the way you have things organized...it's inspired me to re-arrange my basement. Looking forward to your next video. Mark Anthony K Projekt Gemineye
Awesome music collection! The one I some day dream to have. I just wondered what you use to clean your CDs? Because of course everyone knows how to clean their vinyl. But in terms of CDs and jewel cases I've never found anything that works too well.
Thanks my friend. The great thing about cleaning cds is that they are not like vinyl where you have to be cautious of getting the labels wet or anything. I have a container of "CD/DVK KLEEN" wipes. They come where they are already wet with a solution (kinda like a wet wipes). Even so what I do is I put some clear hand soap on the wipe and fold it over a few times and then drench it with water to get if foaming with soap and just wet the cd and lightly scrub it all over with soap. Almost like I'm gently doing some dishing lol. After that I rinse off all the soap and water and GENTLY dry the disc with a paper towel. Of course this does nothing for actual scuffs or scratches, but as a general cleaning to get rid of dirt and finger prints it is perfect. As far as Jewel cases. I simply replace them in most cases. A box of 50 brand new Jewel cases only cost about $12.99. If it happens to be one I can't replace...I sometimes use rubbing alcohol to clean off any price/seal sticker residue and it can help clean the case a bit. My overall rule though is not to buy anything that needs more cleaning than that in first place :) Hope that helps my friend! \m/
MCS tables are a great way to get quality vintage equipment under the cost of the more well known names. That Nakamichi looks very much like my LX-5, which I am so glad I found. What a beast. Awesome stuff, as always!
Thanks for room tour. Always interesting see this stuff. And you have so cool looking! Next you could do some video about your listening routines, how you choise what to listen next. ;) That sofa area looks really cool place to hang around. I could see my self picking up something from that other side of house and then going hangaround to sofas to listen some music that never listened before. Wow! mr. FInglish (Bäd English Recs)
I saw some box set but not a lot. Do you steer clear of box sets or does it just have to be something you really need. I did see a lot more in CD but not in vinyl. It could be my glasses are bad also. Steve
Hmmm. That is interesting. I felt like I had a descent number of box sets. About 84 lp box sets according to discogs. I'm almost scared to know what you consider a lot LOL..
Curious, have you ever considered a storage/streaming device for your music such as a Vault 2i ? That would serve as another back-up device for your extensive collection of music, and it certainly simplifies finding albums or specific songs that you want to play.
I do know some people back up all the their vinyl albums digitally, but I never was attracted to that idea. On the streaming side I'm still very old school in that all I use is itunes. You would think by now I would have AT LEAST tried Spotify, Apple Music, etc but I have not lol. I guess I stick pretty true to the OG formats outside of my one ipod lol. If I lost my collection I guess I would just literally be back to the hunt for most of the music. At least it's insured though so there would be money there to do it lol.
First time watcher, and MAN!! am I hooked! Great video, love your laid back approach and your set up is over the top perfect!! Only thing that could make it better is if you play guitar too! (I'm a drummer...) - Subscribed and Liked.
Dude.... this is AMAZING!!!! I think this is the third place of yours I have seen, and they get better every time. A record store in your own home. I have those same XL7s... Love em. I recently got a pair of XL8fs as well. Do you biamp your speakers? I see something going on there... just not sure what it is. Cheers Brandon. Frank
Thanks Frank. Coming from 33 RPM that means a lot!!! I run the bi-wire cables to the speaker, but only a single plug on the amp. I figure why use jumpers if I have the bi-wire available. I was actually told that was better to do, but I'm not an audiophile so who knows. I saw a video on the XL8s. Would be curious to how you think they compare. BTW I know we have some cross over in subs, but many that are not. I would still love to have my music room on one of your episodes. Let me know what I need to do if you up for that. \m/
@@mrhoffame I need to try to wire my speakers that way. I'd love to show the room on Vinyl Dens.... I'm taking a bit of a break from that series but will do it again in the new year at some point. Drop me a note at channel33rpm at gmail. Cheers !
Haha I love how I can come back to your channel years later to only find you leaning into the madness. Amazing work your collection must be worth a million. So much effort and time has been given. It's too cool to see... When does the shop open? I thought I was legit having catologed my entire collection. Nahh my man has multiple redundancy.
Well...some addiction look pretty than drugs I guess LOL!!! Thanks so much for stopping by my friend. Truly appreciate you being a long time viewer \m/
Very nice setup for music. I have never seen anything like this so neatly set out and the great equipment. It must have taken you hours to organize and put it all together once you moved.
Once i figured out how I wanted the shelves set up, it only took a couple of days. Then again, when I get on a mission like that...I can be pretty focused lol. Thanks for watching my friend!!
Awesome setup, always love your room tours and this space looks great to relax and listen in! So I must have completely missed any older videos where you show the coffee table/coasters, that piece looks really interesting. Are the table/coasters homemade? Would you be able to point me to any older video(s) if you happened to show them in more detail and/or how to make them? Seems like that would be a fun project to try if it’s not too complicated.
Oh geez...I'm not sure if I can recall the video I showed some of the coasters, but it wasn't a how to video or anything. I just showed the ones I picked up. I show the table in my last room tour video. That was rather simple. The table has a piece of glass on top and I just put some photos underneath. Pretty straight forward on that one. I'm sure you know Billy Hurst here in the VC at Riverbend Records. He just opened a shop about a month ago (if you look back about 3-4 videos I did a tour of it) and he makes those personalized coasters. He can do custom ones as well with anything you want on them. Hope that helps my friend and thanks so much for checking it out. Stay safe out there \m/
Also I meant to ask, I’m as big a CD collector as I am a record collector.... as far as CDs go, do you prefer first ‘pressings’ or do you prefer Remastered editions? Personally I buy first editions/early pressings
I like buying Japanese cds with obis, mofi mini lp cds, and slipcase deluxe cds. Those are the only ones I focus on. After that I really don't pay much attention to pressing on cds. Nowhere near the way I do vinyl so be it first pressing or BMG cds...don't make as much difference to me.
This is a house so I can jam out here lol. My last place was a condo. Back there I made it a point to always respect my neighbors and I frequently asked them if they could ever hear my music. I also asked them to please tell me if they ever did.
Brandon, Impressive lay out...but the fact that you have the time to keep up with Discogs and your own database is amazing ! I need to focus on that . Cheers - VK
Your music room is bigger than some of the vinyl stores in my area. I'm guessing you don't use that fireplace with all the vinyl around it. Love that Dusk Till Dawn LP. Regarding the Runaways poster, discovered today that the bass player, Jackie Fuchs, was a winner on the Jeopardy show.
Okay, the KISS light-up sign is pretty fantastic. Great room(s) overall. Layout is particularly nice. Wish I had the space to do something similar. While noticing the genre section breakdowns, I'm thinking it might be occasionally challenging to file away certain records that combine genres/styles. I have that issue when a band does an entire soundtrack... does it go into soundtracks or in the band's section? Oh, the fun of organizing a collection.
Yeah, I get that a lot. In my previous room tour I actually talked about the genre thing lol. To me it is more so about how you "feel" that artist or that album. Your soundtrack example is a good one. I could have one album where a band does an entire soundtrack but it comes across as one of their albums instead of a soundtrack (AC/DC Who Made Who for example). I don't think/feel that album as a soundtrack so it just goes in Hard Rock under AC/DC. Then you have something like Blaze Of Glory from Young Guns. Bon Jovi did that entire album, but that feels like a soundtrack to me and not a Bon Jovi album so I put it under soundtracks. I've always said organization to me should not be about if you are exact on genres and stuff, but just whatever helps you find exactly what you are looking for when you go and seek it. When you think of an album what is the absolute first thing that comes to mind as far as genre? Whatever that is...file it there. I even find myself switching genres that I file albums in over time because my perception of the album changes. That's my philosophy anyway lol. Take care my friend and thanks for watching.
Hey there, I have a very important question. Well, important to me anyway..lol. Those Fluance XL7f speakers.. How do you like their overall sound today? Treble, Mids and Highs specifically. They have updated those to the XL8f speakers, which I could only imagine are improved from the XL7's OR the same but not worse than the XL7's. Anyway, I have seen mixed reviews on them. I currently have 100 watt A/D/S M9e loudspeakers which have an extremely detailed sound. I hear everything, they are amazing. However, I am looking to replace them, because sometimes if I don't turn my bass down on certain records, they clip. I believe because they have no ports. Theyre completely enclosed. I want something more powerful and capable but I don't want to sacrifice detail, warmth or the overall fantastic sound that I currently have. I don't want to spend $600 just to get speakers that sound like the typical digital type crap, you hear today on alot of speakers. I'm always reluctant to buy new, although I have the Fluance RT-85 turntable and I Love it! I like Fluance's build quality and appearance. But I want to keep my analog sound! Lol. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks and have a great day
I have not had the opportunity to hear the 8s. Frank over at Channel33rpm did a review of the 8s, and I think he had the 7s prior, and he said they were fantastic. I think if mids and high end is more of your focus you will be pretty happy with the 7s...for the price point. They come with that 8 inch sub firing down, but that really does act more like a mid than a sub so they are not really "overly" heavy on the low end. Matter of fact I keep mine rather bright and just hook up a 10" sub that I use very, very lightly to fill in a tad of the low end. I think these are speakers which are definitely sharper on their mid and highs than the power of their low end so they might be right up your alley.
@@mrhoffame Thank you. Well that doesn’t sound extremely good to me as I would want the sub to act as a sub. Especially with 2 large mids already taking care of the mid range. I currently use a 10” sub Only to fill out the low end to take some of the low end work away from my speakers and resolve the clipping issue. So I was actually hoping to be able to eliminate my sub. But at the same time I want strong bass. I’m trying to find speakers that do the whole job. Sounds like I may have to stick with vintage. Frank says the sub “kicks you in the gut” so I may go to his comments section and try to get a little more detailed opinion. I found his review to be a bit brief.
Thanks my friend. I do have so much fun with the organization piece. It just kind of adds one more cool way you get to interact with the music itself. I got the pillows cases off Amazon. There are TONS AND TONS of them on there for just about every band you can imagine and they are pretty cheap. Most run from about $9-14. They are zip up cases so you then just run out and buy some pillows to put in them and there you have it.
VERY nice music rooms bro! I love the record store-ish setup. I’m curious, I didn’t see any record cleaning equipment but I’m guessing you have an Okki Nokki type system somewhere. I also love your wide variety of taste! You could run a radio station out of this room! 😄 Especially Love the Marantz receiver with the Pioneer speakers in the main living room. Also one of my dream amps. Good job man!
Thanks my friend. I really don't have a record cleaning machine at all. I just use the old fashion brush and solution. Thing is I'm beyond picky and anal about what records I bring into my collection. If it's not EX to NM it doesn't even make it home with me 99% of the time. That goes for cover and vinyl. So I'm never really "cleaning" my records as much as just "Wiping some lose dust off". I may purchase a spin clean at some point, but to me if you buy NM, treat like NM, and keep every single record in a resealable sleeve... your records stay pretty darn nice with a basic brush and solution.
@@mrhoffame Interesting point by the way. Almost all the VC vloggers I see have one of those machines in their rooms. I never thought about it but they must have some super old less than great condition records. I use Pure Vinyl solution and microfiber cloths and that’s always worked for me, because just like you, I only buy Ex to NM records but no matter how good they look I give them a quick clean before the first play. My system is too good to play crappy records on. 😆
Yes, I put all my cd in outer, resealable sleeves. After I clean them, if needed a put a brand new jewel case on them and then sleeve them. I get those sleeves from bagsunlimited. The same place as my outer sleeves for my vinyl :) \m/
Hi - new subscriber here. I really like your eclectic taste in music, it is very much like mine and I have had a hard time finding someone who is interested in all the different genres that we do. I am curious if you are a Prince fan because he encompasses many of these genres but you have never mentioned him. Cheers.
Thanks for stopping by my friend!!! Oh Heck yeah I'm a prince fan!!! I actually did a video about a year or so ago where I debated if Michael Jackson or Prince was the greatest pop star ever. I gave the nod to Prince. The creativity of that guy is just BEYOND being off the charts. Eric Clapton himself said that Prince "saved music" with his creativity. Now granted, I'm a huge fun up through Parade. Most of the stuff after parade I'm a tad bit "luke warm" on, but Seft Tittled to Parade is pure gold to me.
@@mrhoffame Yea- I thought you would be a Prince fan. Hey can you send me the link to your vid about Prince VS MJ? I did not see that one. That makes sense you are up to Parade- love the way you wear the 80’s on your sleeve ( LOL). I was the same way but up to Diamonds and Pearls which is an amazing record. Then, after his passing I went back and checked out his stuff after D&P and man, I have to say it is all pretty amazing. I do not throw the term around lightly but the guy was a stone cold genius.for a good sampler of what he did after Parade check out the record “Anthology 1995-2010”. That record cherry picks the best bits. Anyway thanks for getting back to me, I appreciate it. Also for a new Soul band that I think you might like, check out the band Sault. Cheers.
Brandon , absolutely love your videos & your TH-cam personality, you are truly the king of the record/music room set-ups, but I have to ask why do I feel like every time there’s a room Tour it’s in a different room or Is it a different house? Just curious

Amazing collection! And that's coming from a guy who used to own a comic book store full of cool stuff and collectibles. It's a pleasure watching videos like this of people who truly love music. Thanks! 🤘
Thanks so much my friend! Truly appreciate you checking it out \m/
This IS a music archive !! Beautiful thing!
Fantastic set up. The rooms look really great regarding the arrangements of the racks/shelves and decoration. Thanks for showing us around.
I love it! Take care. - Bill
A very nice room you can be very proud of 😊👍🏻. A have dedicated room to but that’s a more like a home cinema / listening room.
Thanks so much. An honor to be mentioned with Frank. I love that guy and his channel so much!!!
Fantastic video Brandon! I love the way you have things organized...it's inspired me to re-arrange my basement.
Looking forward to your next video.

That's awesome my friend. Please do a tour video sometime. Would love to see that!!
What a amazing room great collection and layout
Thanks my friend. I will be doing and updated one in couple of weeks so keep and eye out \m/
My overall rule though is not to buy anything that needs more cleaning than that in first place :)
Hope that helps my friend! \m/
Thanks for the extensive reply! Will be sure to check those wipes out. The rubbing alcohol is a great idea.
MCS tables are a great way to get quality vintage equipment under the cost of the more well known names. That Nakamichi looks very much like my LX-5, which I am so glad I found. What a beast. Awesome stuff, as always!
Awesome set up, I would find it hard to leave the house.
Thanks for room tour. Always interesting see this stuff.
And you have so cool looking! Next you could do some video about your listening routines, how you choise what to listen next. ;)
That sofa area looks really cool place to hang around. I could see my self picking up something from that other side of house and then going hangaround to sofas to listen some music that never listened before. Wow!
mr. FInglish (Bäd English Recs)
Thanks my friend!!!
We're old school as well. I perfectly understand.
Pretty sweet music room.
Amazing collection, was wondering what kind of outer sleeves you use?
Thanks my friend. I use the crystal clear resealable sleeves from bagsunlimited.com
AMAZING!!!! I'm super jealous :) I always love these types of videos.
First time watcher, and MAN!! am I hooked! Great video, love your laid back approach and your set up is over the top perfect!! Only thing that could make it better is if you play guitar too! (I'm a drummer...) - Subscribed and Liked.
Congratulations!! The best collection.
Thanks my friend!
Dude.... this is AMAZING!!!!
Great job on your music room Brandon..it looks really interesting and inviting..I think I could spend some time in there quite happily..👍👍👍glen
If you get down this way, give me a buzz :)
@@mrhoffame where are you located?
Love the room Brandon! Thanks for checking out my room tour! :)
Rock n Roll Blvd. Yesss
Place looks like a record store.
Very impressive 👏
Amazing isn’t this like the third time you have moved moving all that stuff OMG
The 5th time actually lol.
Great tour. Just curious is this a condo/apt, and how do you manage neighbors if they complain of music coming through floor or walls?
This is a house so I can jam out here lol. My last place was a condo. Back there I made it a point to always respect my neighbors and I frequently asked them if they could ever hear my music. I also asked them to please tell me if they ever did.
Un real Brandon I'm jealous I would never want to leave the house Tour gets better and better Best one yet Really digging the Hpm 100'S
Wouaaa. Je n’ai jamais vu un rangement aussi parfait.
💙🤍❤️👍
That is what I call a collection :-) great man.
Thanks my friend. They love runs deep for sure lol.
Holy $hit. I'm just in awe. Yeah.... awe. I can't find any additional words.
Ha Ha. Thanks so much for watching my friend!!
Brandon, Impressive lay out...but the fact that you have the time to keep up with Discogs and your own database is amazing ! I need to focus on that . Cheers - VK
Thanks!! It took awhile. I started Jan. 1 of this year lol.
Wow!!!!...I've just walked into tower records 😂🤣😂🤣......Can u do a vid of your autographed vinyl??...if I have can u post a link??...cheers mate👍👍🤘🤘
Yeah, someone told me a few years ago about Jackie being on Jeapardy lol. Geez, beauty, smarts, and kickass rocker? Where can I find one?? lol.
Ever thought about getting a DAC for your CD players? With your kind of meticulous setups it should improve the sound of your CDs tremendously.
I found his review to be a bit brief.
love your set up and organization makes wanna re do my room. where did you get the cool pillows?
Thanks my friend. I do have so much fun with the organization piece. It just kind of adds one more cool way you get to interact with the music itself. I got the pillows cases off Amazon. There are TONS AND TONS of them on there for just about every band you can imagine and they are pretty cheap. Most run from about $9-14. They are zip up cases so you then just run out and buy some pillows to put in them and there you have it.
Why is godsmack your favorite band? And how did that come to be if you dont mind Sharing.
@@mrhoffame Nice! Same here. I totally agree!
This rocks - do you have a lead on where to get those CD racks?
Thanks for watching. I actually got those from a FYE that was going out of business. :)
Very dope, like that Dinah Washington on the player also. sweet
Jezuz man, this set up is insane. I love it
Wow! Fantastic room! Did I see you have some of your cd's in outer sleeves? If so, where did you get them?
Cheers.
How many albums and cds have u got, great collection, how many cassettes
Brandon , absolutely love your videos & your TH-cam personality, you are truly the king of the record/music room set-ups, but I have to ask why do I feel like every time there’s a room
Tour it’s in a different room or Is it a different house? Just curious
Thanks so much! Truly appreciate the kind words. I think maybe you feel it's a different room or house is because...it is lol :) I did move about 4-5 months ago so this is a new set up. Glad you enjoyed it my friend and thanks for watching.
That’s impressive Brandon.
