  • Welcome 2022 and with that brings a new music room. tour. what's different this time is that almost everything is different. So many new additions, I really hope you can appreciate what I was trying to do and with COVID, I had nothing better to do than hunt down formats I've not had before and a few things I've always wanted. I'm very proud of my set up. Hope you enjoy the video!

I love that you have all of that connected to literally the cheapest new receiver you can buy. :)

I have several other vintage ones, very nice ones too, but honestly this new Denon gives me way more options and sounds just fine to me. I like to stream via Bluetooth. I love to play SACD's via optical cable, I play my DAT player through coaxial cable, and CD player is through optical as well. This Denon does all that.
Thanks for watching. I appreciate it 😀

@@nazznomad You had the Sony in this. I'm actually considering buying that Denon in your 2023 update. Ive never spent over 500 on an amp before. heh :D

Cool room! I also have one of those Sony Watchmen. I turn it one every once in a while to check if the last remaining analog channel is still there. Still works. I have the exact same turntable. My dad gave it to me a few years ago. Great stuff!

Really cool record players in "backroom". I have been thinking that it would be nice to have third record player. I would use it while working. :)
Always fun to see that "Mies", because in Finnish it means man. :D
I have that same reciever. I have been liking that also. Sometimes when I play bluetooth it makes noises when song change. But I guess it's not only reason of that reciever.
    Thanks for showing your room.

Interesting choice to trade your Marantz for a Technics. That hurt my soul. Felt like giving up one of your favorite pets. But I understand the why you would want one. I'm surprised you never had one, since you are and have been a DJ. Your Official now. LOL! That Sony receiver is nice. I need something with bluetooth. Reel to Reel is nice, I don't have space or patience for that. Now, I would be interested in the Sony MiniDisc player. I had one and foolishly got rid of it. I can't even remember what I did with it. I had an opportunity to buy one a couple of weeks ago at an estate sale but passed because it was too expensive. However I did buy a box of recorded Minidiscs. I plan on listening to them on my portable mini disc player. I should have also bought the laser disc player and laser discs that they had but, didn't want to mess with those. Next time I'll be picking all that up next time I see it.
    Yes more videos please.
Nice room set up. I keep trying to get my rooms together, that is my goal for this decade. I'm trying to set realistic goals okay.
    Stay warm, keep spinning.

So do you find any major differences between the older technique direct drive and the new technique 1200mk2. Is it as silent like the older one as this one actually meant for djs
