I was thinking the same. Im new to suppressors . I was going to use high temp ceramic grease. The stuff you use on cars. I already use synthetic engine oil for my 1911s. Lol
I use a rubber strap wrench to remove my suppressor. I also have a silicone hot pad to grip the outside of the can. I never have a stuck suppressor again.
Your thumbs up was at 223 and I got to be the guy to ruin that cool number lol. Good video fellas. I just obtained my first suppressor and want to get as much maintenance knowledge before I head to the range.
Got the razor 7.62 on my 300 Blackout build and my oh my! What a tough little can. Love your guys’ stuff. Very little maintenance and easy to use. Thanks for the tips. Also I rep the Hawaiian “live rugged” hat. 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Have you ever tried using a crayon to remove a stuck suppressor? With the heat, you can hold the tip of a crayon and the wax will melt between the threads, allowing easy removal. It then dries and you can just wipe it off. Crayons are small and easy to keep with you.
My adapter got stuck and unthreaded with the suppressor there's no way of getting them separated at the moment going to try more loctite on the threads and put it back on and see if I can break it loose any ideas?
If you shoot suppress like I do, may I suggest you clean your rifle twice as often as you would if shooting non-suppressed. As to handguns, not sure but I would suspect I would do the same. I can almost guarantee suppressor lock up due to carbon build up will not occur.
I was gonna do the antiseeze thang but after applying it to one sections threads i declared that stuff is entirely too messy. And it does not "easily" wipe off like some claim. Matter of fact its damn near as much of a pain to get off as carbon. Ill get some kind of high temp grease. No thank you antiseeze.
You sure you're engaging the locking mount all the way? I had that problem but I used a strap wrench to tighten it further and it fixed the issue. There should be a "thunk" when the locking collar locks into place.
I put a little high temp grease on the threads and the tapers of the muzzle break/flash hider. Has done great so far.

The strap wrench works perfect for separating the module.
👍👍

Targeted use of map gas, and a thick glove for the suppressor and a pair of flat heads to take off a stuck muzzle adapter.
Very helpful compared to other videos
strap wrench and a vice worked., thanks
When my neighbors dogs lock up I just yell at them real loud and spray em with a garden hose. This will be a little trickier lol
That's fu@king funny

Thanks for the info!
Thank you!
Travis is the NFA version of Lurch.
Travis just holds his gun over his head since he can reach the upper atmosphere to cool his stuff down.
🤣 🤣
I have a Rugged Razor on my DSA 11.5” FAL factory SBR, one Obsidian 45 and waiting on my stamp for my second Obsidian 45.
@@crushthesheeple That's awesome!

Just had my LGS order me my 1st suppressor, a Mustang 22, can’t wait to shoot it in a year!
The guy on the right is 5’9”
Have Zack and Seth Green ever been seen in the same room together
I just buy a suppressor for every gun!
That dude looks like ten feet tall
😂 almost he's 6"7"
Yes. My son is 6’6”. He is up there. I’m 6’1” and my wife 5’9” so he got a double dose of tall.
Someone you really have to look up to.
My rugged never wants to stay tight soooo. 😂
