    Cannot believe how some people are not able to understand that the i7 10875H was shown in the video to depict how inefficient the 10th gen platform was, compared to 11th gen and spamming dislikes. The 10875H consumes 125W under full load and just manages 4500 points in Cinebench R20, whereas the i7 11800H can easily get to 4800 points at half the power and much less frequency needed.

      @gamersanditparadise  3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Yes. A person didn't get this, and therefore disliked the video, and even attempted to abuse here in comments, he said its a 10875h and not 11800h. TH-cam removed that comment as it was abusive in nature, but man, the entire purpose of showing the 14nm i7 was to emphasise the improvements achieved by coming down to 10nm from 14nm. I think I should pin your comment so that people can go through this first, instead of being too quick to jump into wrong conclusions. Viewers are welcome to ask in case of any doubt. That would be a lot better, instead of not understanding and taking undesirable steps.

    i7 11800H or R7 5800H which is best bro for design software's like cad, catia, auto cad, solid works.
    Pls tell me i am having a hard confusion

      11800H is better from my experience. Just has more support for hardware acceleration than 5800H. Sorry for the late reply, youtube falsely flagged your comment, just saw your comment now and fixed it.

    Which would be the better option in Legion 7? i7-11800h or R7 5800h? Looking to do more productivity like video editing and 3D modeling.

    • @gamersanditparadise
      @gamersanditparadise  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on how well the Legion 7 can cool the i7 11800H. Has any review for the Intel model of Legion 7 come out yet? So far I've only seen reviews of Ryzen powered Legions. Btw Intel is generally considered better for video editing due to quicksync and stuff, but make sure to check how well the legion handles it first.

    Great video. What do you think of the i9 11980HK processor btw? It should be better in terms of power scaling right?

    • @gamersanditparadise
      @gamersanditparadise  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. The 11980HK has a base frequency of 2.6 GHz, which is 300MHz higher than that of the 11800H, so its a better quality silicon, and therefore will have better power efficiency.

      @@gamersanditparadise Hey brother, which of these CPUs would you recommend on a powerful new laptop (say, the latest versions of HP Omen or the latest versions of Dell G15)? Computer will be constantly plugged to battery!

    • @gamersanditparadise
      @gamersanditparadise  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Although AMD is going to fare better than Intel when it comes to battery life, if you're gonna be plugged in to an AC adapter and have good enough cooling, Intel will provide slightly better performance at the cost of heat of course. So if you want absolute performance and don't care much for power efficiency/battery life, Intel's a good option. Not to mention that Intel will have an edge in gaming performance as well over AMD.

      The 11th gen i7 is better overall, as it offers faster gaming performance thanks to usage Pcie Gen 4 lanes, and is much better in terms of editing. Battery life will be better on Ryzen as it's more power efficient. Apologies for late reply, as youtube is incorrectly flagging some comments as spam lately. Let me know if you have any questions:)

      GPU can be overclocked using MSI afterburner. Once you install it, you can increase the core clock by +100 or 150 mhz. Sorry for the delay in response, youtube falsely flagged your comment for review, just saw now.

    So does that means ryzen 7 5800h better than i7-11800h?

    • @gamersanditparadise
      @gamersanditparadise  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, at lower wattages the Ryzen platform shines as it's better binned for lower wattages. However, Intel is better suited for designs which have better cooling, as it is better binned than the 5800H for higher wattages.

    • @MashreefAhmed
      @MashreefAhmed 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Remember most of the laptops will have thermal issues so whoever gives the best performance in lower wattage actually wins

    • @gamersanditparadise
      @gamersanditparadise  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MashreefAhmed Yes, thats also a perspective. Intel relies a lot on cooling, so unless the thermal design is good enough to take advantage of Intel platform, AMD will do better.

    • @MashreefAhmed
      @MashreefAhmed 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gamersanditparadise If it was possible UV on AMD it would be more better in thermal and more power to the multicore

    • @gamersanditparadise
      @gamersanditparadise  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MashreefAhmed Yes, of course. Thermals would have improved even further on AMD powered laptops. But I guess they didn't enable undervolting for AMD as the laptops will become a bit too compelling for their own good. Remember, brands want you to continuously upgrade your hardware every 3-4 years, and allowing undervolting on AMD will deter their plans. Intel has enabled undervolting though, and it brings their power efficiency pretty close to AMD's offerings.

    So do you still have that Zephyrus S 15 .
    How's it working?
    It's on sale at flipkart rn sould I buy that or zephyrus G15 (2021)

    • @gamersanditparadise
      @gamersanditparadise  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well my perspective is, the Zephyrus S15 is the top end, flagship product from Asus. So you get premium features like MUX Switch/Nvidia Gsync, which is not present in G15. On top of that, the 115W 2070 Super inside the S15 performs better than the 95W 3060 on the Zephyrus G15, so gaming performance is an easy win for the S15. So not only is the GPU faster, the absence of Mux switch on the G15 is a dealbreaker as well. Build quality is really awesome on the s15, and the pictures online hardly do it any justice.
      The only upside of getting the G15 is the Ryzen 5000 cpu which although may have an edge in benchmarks, but Intel is still competitive in gaming, as many online benchmarks have shown.
      The G15 does have the WQHD screen, but I feel a 3060 is not enough to push decent enough framerates at 1440p resolution. So at the price point of 1.4 lakhs, the S15 is a lot better deal than the G15. Do make sure to check the various benchmarks and temperatures in the gameplay footages I have uploaded, like Battlefield 5 and Call of Duty cold war, they are a representative of what to expect from a temperature standpoint. Do let me know if you have any other concerns :)

      You misunderstood it actually. He has shown that 10875H score because he wants to emphasize that even after drawing 125W of power at 4.3 GHz, the 10875H scores 4500, whereas the i7 11800H can score 4350 points at just 65W and 3.4 GHz.
