- The Godox ML100Bi LED Light review is straight to the point, have a wealth of information, beyond the item itself, also sometimes a mix of tutorials regarding lighting, audio etc., EVEN some workshops mixed with the reviews themselves.

This has given so much more info than all the other videos on this light. Thank you.
You answered all my questions about using this light with different types of batteries. Thank you!
@@jmcmedia9971 I try my best. Thanks for the feedback 👍
Thank you so much for the information, now I know I have to get this light!
your reviews are really the best, straight to the important points. and one can tell that you like this light :)
@@ArminHirmer Thanks a lot. I appreciate that!
Thanks a lot for your rewiew! So many precious information, specially about the bugs protection! 🙌
Finally, a compact (narrow-angle) reflector for a compact light. I wish they would standardize these 'mini' mounts, so that we have as many interchangeable accessories as we currently have for full-size Bowens units. Also, when doing your run-time calculations, you might want to add a 15% 'fudge factor' as a minimum. Some batteries will cut the power entirely when the cells get close to empty so as to prevent damaging the cells (so I've been told). Thank you for the review.
@@OrenArieli the 15% fudge factor makes sense. I experience this sometimes. 👍
wow. so much information. Thank you SO much!
I like the size of it. Very compact.
Very thorough video. Great work! I have been considering this light. Thanks for making it. Best on this light for sure.
@@od628 thanks a lot. If you use my links it helps me out. They don’t cost you anything extra.
Would you recommend this one for outdoor mid day extreme overpowered sun photo or video? I've bought ML60 on last year but not enough when I'm at extreme overpowered sun situation. 😂😂😂
The ML60 watts outdoors will definitely NOT DO. I use 600 to 1200 watt COB LEDs. But if you are in a budget and no need to soften the light, you can try with the ML100Bi outdoors. That 15 degree fresnel ish reflector will do miracles. You can have a pretty good idea how powerful that thing is in my video demo.
Ohhh i love these new compact lights. :) awesome review!
Thanks man!
hmmm im still stuck on the zhyiun light this is good, but im just waiting on zhyiun to make a 100 watt RGB small light like thier molus
@@YoungBlaze or maybe the B series with RGB
Great in depth video, for run and gun, what would you recommend between this and the Amaran 60x ?
@@MichaelBouhnikProductions I personally have many lights similar to the Amaran 60X. What sold me on the ML100Bi is that reflector-slash fresnel sort of thing. The second thing is the size and thirdly, the white enclosure just to change things a bit.
thanks for a great video...im new to video lights...
if I use a 100w output power bank (usb-c) would it output 80%? or would I be better off with a 140w power bank to be on the safe side (120w 100%output)?
@@RM.TokyoPhotographer your 140 watt USB is 140 watts total. It will not output 140 watts through one USB port. To get the light to go 100%, use D TAP on a V MOUNT battery or use the included power supply
Can you use a remote instead of the phone? Is there a remote availble?
@@carlosazevedo7748 not that I know of. I’m also a big fan of remote than Apps.
Thanks how does this compare with the Molus X100 from Zhiyun?
@@AlexDelfont
1- both brands no case with the standard kit
2- X100 is 100 watts, the ML100Bi is 120
3- fan on the X100 is quieter
4 the reflector on the ML100bi is better
5- both are bicolor
6- both have FX
7- both have a stable brightness when changing color temp preserving the same light exposure with almost no change in F stops.
8- both offer bowens adapters
9- price difference is about $20 more or less (light only)
Weddings!! 💡💡
Can this be mounted with MLP projector?
@@Jilsonsecklertiu I will be a little bit of a clutter. You will need two adapters:
1- the Bowens adapter for this light
2- plus the Godox SA-17 Bowens Mount to S30 Mount Adapter.
Projection lights designed for such purpose come with a lens which provides better results. I recommend that you buy the actual projection light.
Which one is better zhiyun or this one?
@@Hassanakora you have to watch the two videos and decide. What one needs is different than another.
It sounds like a Fresnel and not like a reflector
can you just please take a photo with same camera setting at all those leds at 100%. to see how bright are for real?
Why nobody compare ml100bi vs ml60bi ii?
@@sottheaphoeurng9044maybe because the ML60bi is 3 years old. At least I showed that they both are compatible with accessories. Other than that is just a power difference, similar effects and similar fan noise.
