I recently moved to Atlanta for masters in Film at GSU. If I get to have a Molus G300, this will be my go to light to shoot my film assignments (especially a short film that I'm going to make next month for my final) without worrying about renting lights from the university and having to move those big lights without a car! My scripts are usually contained in one house or room because of budget limitations and for such shoots, this light will be like a life saver for me! Besides the fact that you're giving away one of the lights, this was a great video and I got to learn about new lights that I didn't even know before!

It's amazing what you can do these days. Five years ago it was unthinkable to carry a kit like that in a suitcase. With this kit you have a solution for 99% of the scenes.
I’ve been filmmaking for 3 years in New York, who often takes the train to get to one job to another. One of the main struggles with filmmaking for me, is traveling with lights. Absolutely in love with this compact kit. May help a lot to create some small accents in my interior videos. Sometimes depends on weather we need to highlight something and natural light is just not enough. Great to have one of this in you backpack

This is incredible! I find lighting kit to be so intimidating and overwhelming but you’ve made this seem so simple. I know either the 100w or even the 60w would make a huge difference and help kickstart my practice and make me more confident with my equipment when going for new jobs!
I used to do more run and gun stuff and work with whatever lighting was available, but recently I've been trying to do more elaborate stuff and have a hard time carrying lights like the Godox sl60 or sl150. These smaller but powerful lights would be a big help.

I'd like to be able to increase my dynamic range of work within my projects, since 60w leaves me at the limit in many cases. For years I have struggled with the limitation of having only two lights that have low power and only work wired, for outdoor scenes they are impossible to use. I’ve been impressed with the quality and power of Zhiyun. It’s so cool how you have all those lights inside such a small case. I think lighting is way more important than people realize. Ever since I started putting more thought into it my videos just look waaaay better, I have a small Zhiyun fill light and I loveee it
I am modifying my lighting kit for weddings because its just too cumbersome and something compact like the 100w lights are fantastic to me. However I think for me the real gem of this video is discovering those compact carbon fiber light stands. I have big stands that are air cushioned from impact that I use on larger days but for smaller shoots and when flying these seem to be the golden gem for me out of this video.
I have been looking for ideas for a kit like this! Great job! I love the lightweight COBs and the versatility. I would totally use this for a documentary I am planning for this coming year. He is running 50 marathons in 50 states in 50 weeks and it’s pretty insane with travel. This would be perfect!

It's amazing that you can take all the lights in that nanuk case, usually I have to take the lights separately, and I only have a 100W and a 60W COB. Excelente video gallo.
Really great kit! I'm still rocking with a comparatively *giant* Godox SL60W and a few tube lights. The carrying bag for the SL60W is SO cumbersome. It's crazy that you can now get 5x the output in a light about half the size! Honestly though, the 100w lights are what I would get to upgrade my set up. The size is perfect for my run-and-gun style and the power output is great.
Hey, I'm a bmx filmmaker from Hamburg in Germany. I've never really been satisfied with the fact that everyone in the industry would use natural lighting and doesn't stress about a well lit image. Unfortunately I can't afford investing into a good lighting kit. So that would be dope! Love your video dude ;)
I would love to use this entire kit just like you have it set up. It would work perfect for my documentary interviews because I could bring it along with all the camera gear I use without overwhelming myself as a single shooter who does a lot of run-and-gun work. The Zhiyun 300 would be the key light with the 100s serving as hair light and fill light and the 60 working as accent lighting. Thanks for the cool video, loved the way you had Act1 and Act 2! That 60W RGB light can really be useful for my work flow! -Accent Lighting: Use it as a cool side light to splash some color around and highlight certain spots, making everything more visually fun. -Mood Lighting: Change the RGB settings to match the vibe you’re going for-like warm colors for a cozy feel or cool tones for something more sci-fi. -Backlighting: Stick it behind your subject to give them a nice glow around the edges and stand out from the background. -Creative Effects: For some artsy shoots, you can cycle through colors or pick specific shades to create unique looks, like neon feels or magical scenes.

I feel the Zhiyun 300W light would be super useful in daylight scenes when to motivate soft lighting coming from a window pane. It also looks super light & versatile on various locations. That 60W light would perfectly fulfill my need in portable strong light and help elevate my portfolio of an aspiring DP, as it at this level I get a chance to work only on low budget projects and every piece of equipment is highly valued, especially light since it is the most crucial part of the cinematography. Use scenarios are very broad, from back lightning and fill, to even key in some cases

The fact that all that fit into the pelican is so sick! I would love to use the 300! I only use the aperture MC so using a 300w light would change the game. I really would love to practice lighting with that!
I'm a wedding and commerical cinematographer and I mainly use a 60w light but that 300w light would be sooo helpful. That light would help me set a more consistent tone when going from scene to scene.
Probably I would use it mostly while travelling, great kit to be able to make some cinematic pieces wherever I am, but not only as I would say it's a great way to set up in smaller spaces where it might be hard to use bigger lights - the situation in which I'm right now, while working on my first VO piece on YT in my tiny room 😂
it is stunning how you can fit all that gear in just one case!! definitely lighting is crucial when giving personality to your videos, I’ll 100% go with the 60W, that little guy will fit perfectly to add interesting lighting points to my works
Well, I'm not a pro, but I'm definitely an enthusiast. Lately, I've been shooting using my iPhone 15PM and getting pretty good results. One thing that's been on my mind is getting a Zhiyun Molus X100 light, especially since the iPhone doesn't have the best low-light performance. That light seems really portable and powerful for my current needs. Hoping to get a setup like yours someday, and maybe a Sony FX30 soon!
The 300W would be the perfect addtition to my lighting kit. I actually have the 100w already and even though had some issues with the battery not working, I've been able to make it work with usb c and the smallrig vmount. I've been on the search for a more powerful light to complete my kit and that 500w boost sounds very interesting! Nov 2 is also my birthday so if I won this on that day it would just be icing on the cake! Great video!
One of the biggest challenges I face is being able to be mobile with my interview setup and having all the necessary equipment with me to nail the lighting. This would drastically improve my speed, mobility, and efficiency with my setup!

The X60 with the reflector and silicone would be incredible for being able to rig a small light to my actual camera rig which will allow in darker situations for the talent to be nice and softly lit while not being too big and bulky, especially for the more run and gun situations where I don't have time to control the lighting. And with the DC and usb-c inputs would make it so easy to power off my v mount batteries while connected to the camera.
The portability of this kit would allow me to capture high-quality shots without relying on unpredictable natural light. Being able to quickly set up and move them across locations would make it easier to adapt to various settings, inspiring more outdoor projects and enhancing my creative range
I am a new freelance cinematographer so my kit is pretty small at the moment. I would definitely benefit from using these lights because I prefer using natural lighting and enhancing the scene with lights when necessary. Smaller lights like this would work better for me because I want to show it's possible to light a scene with smaller lights instead of having to purchase big expensive lights.
This was a fun video. I would love to have one of those 300 or 500 watt lights. I’ve been shooting lots of narrative films and having a more powerful light like either of those would give me way more flexibility to shoot at any time of day or night.

I already use a Molus X100 regularily but I definitely need a lighting addition to add as a hair light. It really makes such a huge difference in separating the subject from the background and I really do notice the lack of an additional light in my kit! Would love to test all that gear , as a photographer i would like to try lighting up some wedding couples, models and even try at some of my architectural shoots. It's so compact , this would help me so much on all my journeys with or without the flights. Looking forward tho
This is perfect I am in the process of building a travel friendly lite kit for a future shoot. I shoot on an FS7 pretty rigged out so thats already going to be a big pelican and I don't want to have the check my rig but I wouldn't worry as much with these light weight lights in a compact pelican.
I would have SO many uses for these in my work flow. Adding lighting to not only my videos but using them in my still photography of cars and motorcycles as well.
I'm just starting out as an event photographer and I really found the use for a continuous light to level up my videos production. Hopping to get one from you, it'll be a great start.
it would help my work flow because tight now I am using a flash light to light my scene I don't have any light at all. would be nice to have even a small light to make it easier.

Brutaal, I'm starting with product videos, and it would be very useful for me. I normally work in restaurants and other small locations. For product shoots, the Zhiyun 300W is enough as a key light, and the others work great as fill lights. The Zhiyun 300W and 60W would also be very useful for interviews. Honestly, having this equipment would make me really happy.

As a wedding videographer lighting is very important so reception are super dark. I feel that the compact size of the 100w is more versatile for me and because of the battery I don’t have to worry about connecting to the power outlet.
The 300w would be a powerhouse to my workflow! I prefer to keep the kit as light as possible so removing one of my larger 300's for something smaller would be killer.
I work on music videos and usually setup and move everything alone. I have two big GVM lights with a lot of accessories and this takes up a lot of space on the set, in my car and in my apartment. I would love having a tiny setup like this to be able to free up some space and go on my set with a lighter set of light. Fingers crossed ! And good luck to everyone participating

I'm using the Zhiyun Crane 2s and the first light i bought and the only one i have right now is the Zhiyun M20c. A pretty nice combo for a run and gun gimbal setup. I'm just starting my career as a freelancer and i believe these small lights would elevate my work flow as a one man team during shoots. Also i kinda wanna be a Zhiyun Ambassador here in my country. 🙌🏻
I carry my lights and everything in their original package. This is a struggle, when you move around on a cargo back, and you have back issues. This kit would defiantly ease my work

How do you carry a larger softbox tho, I assume that would be packed separately? Other than using the Sun… I’ve been wanting some solid lights to up my game as a videographer! i'm a fan of the portable but powerful lights from Zhiyun. that they all fit inside a 935 is insane. I would replace a CX100 with a C100 but not sure yet how to organise that ;)

Sweet idea !I think I would only add two small head for the 60W or 100W to being able to ajust the angle on the tripod

The 300W would be the perfect addtition to my lighting kit. I actually have the 100w already and even though had some issues with the battery not working, I've been able to make it work with usb c and the smallrig vmount. I've been on the search for a more powerful light to complete my kit and that 500w boost sounds very interesting! Nov 2 is also my birthday so if I won this on that day it would just be icing on the cake! Great video!
One of the biggest challenges I face is being able to be mobile with my interview setup and having all the necessary equipment with me to nail the lighting. This would drastically improve my speed, mobility, and efficiency with my setup!
What a great compact setup! This organized kit would definitely assist with my workflow because of its form factor for both travel content creation and car photography 🙌🏻
The X60 with the reflector and silicone would be incredible for being able to rig a small light to my actual camera rig which will allow in darker situations for the talent to be nice and softly lit while not being too big and bulky, especially for the more run and gun situations where I don't have time to control the lighting. And with the DC and usb-c inputs would make it so easy to power off my v mount batteries while connected to the camera.
The portability of this kit would allow me to capture high-quality shots without relying on unpredictable natural light. Being able to quickly set up and move them across locations would make it easier to adapt to various settings, inspiring more outdoor projects and enhancing my creative range
I am a new freelance cinematographer so my kit is pretty small at the moment. I would definitely benefit from using these lights because I prefer using natural lighting and enhancing the scene with lights when necessary. Smaller lights like this would work better for me because I want to show it's possible to light a scene with smaller lights instead of having to purchase big expensive lights.
I love when everything just FITS. So satisfying. The 60w rgb would be the light to add to any kit. Size, Color and multiple power methods 💪📸
This was a fun video. I would love to have one of those 300 or 500 watt lights. I’ve been shooting lots of narrative films and having a more powerful light like either of those would give me way more flexibility to shoot at any time of day or night.
I would defenetly go with the Molus 300w licht. Because it's so incredibly versitale. I love the video, and the case for that matter!

I already use a Molus X100 regularily but I definitely need a lighting addition to add as a hair light.
It really makes such a huge difference in separating the subject from the background and I really do notice the lack of an additional light in my kit!

Would love to test all that gear , as a photographer i would like to try lighting up some wedding couples, models and even try at some of my architectural shoots. It's so compact , this would help me so much on all my journeys with or without the flights. Looking forward tho

I would use the lights for a lot of interior shots. They'd be perfect for interior car scenes and lighting a small room
This is perfect I am in the process of building a travel friendly lite kit for a future shoot. I shoot on an FS7 pretty rigged out so thats already going to be a big pelican and I don't want to have the check my rig but I wouldn't worry as much with these light weight lights in a compact pelican.
I would have SO many uses for these in my work flow. Adding lighting to not only my videos but using them in my still photography of cars and motorcycles as well.

it would help my work flow because tight now I am using a flash light to light my scene I don't have any light at all. would be nice to have even a small light to make it easier.
The g300/500 would help so much for when the 100W isn’t enough punch going trough a window outside the room creating the ambient 👌
I’ve just finished editing my first small documentary on the power of community running - I’m keen to start my next project working with my father and exploring our relationship - right now I’m doing it without any lights and having the ability to try invoke emotion and push the story visually would be incredible! I just got the Zhiyun Fiveray 40W light!!!! Insanely good and definitely more useful than some more wattage lights from other brands!

Brutaal, I'm starting with product videos, and it would be very useful for me.
I normally work in restaurants and other small locations. For product shoots, the Zhiyun 300W is enough as a key light, and the others work great as fill lights. The Zhiyun 300W and 60W would also be very useful for interviews. Honestly, having this equipment would make me really happy.

As a wedding videographer lighting is very important so reception are super dark. I feel that the compact size of the 100w is more versatile for me and because of the battery I don’t have to worry about connecting to the power outlet.
The 300w would be a powerhouse to my workflow! I prefer to keep the kit as light as possible so removing one of my larger 300's for something smaller would be killer.
I work on music videos and usually setup and move everything alone. I have two big GVM lights with a lot of accessories and this takes up a lot of space on the set, in my car and in my apartment. I would love having a tiny setup like this to be able to free up some space and go on my set with a lighter set of light. Fingers crossed ! And good luck to everyone participating
I’ve just started doing work and moving on from personal projects and I could really use the Zhiyun 300w because I don’t have any light that can even put a dent combating the sun more specifically i could really use it in window backlit interview shots like the one in my most recent video

I'm using the Zhiyun Crane 2s and the first light i bought and the only one i have right now is the Zhiyun M20c. A pretty nice combo for a run and gun gimbal setup. I'm just starting my career as a freelancer and i believe these small lights would elevate my work flow as a one man team during shoots. Also i kinda wanna be a Zhiyun Ambassador here in my country. 🙌🏻
I carry my lights and everything in their original package. This is a struggle, when you move around on a cargo back, and you have back issues. This kit would defiantly ease my work
I would love to add this professional light to my workflow! It would totally elevate my portrait and product photography, giving me that perfect lighting every time. For videography, it would help me set the right mood and make my projects pop! I can't wait to see how it transforms my work!
Love this idea man! I would definitely include one of those C100 lights in there, I absolutely love them! I currently have the G300 as well which I really love! How do you carry a larger softbox tho, I assume that would be packed separately? So I would probably keep everything the same but leave a 100w light out and try to include one of those c100's in there! I'd use all of these lights for my TH-cam vids!
Other than using the Sun… I’ve been wanting some solid lights to up my game as a videographer! This would be amazing for adding mood and depth to my shoots, whether it’s for a fashion project or a documentary setup which I love to shoot... Could really help me bring my creative ideas to life and push the quality of my work.
i'm a fan of the portable but powerful lights from Zhiyun. that they all fit inside a 935 is insane. I would replace a CX100 with a C100 but not sure yet how to organise that ;)
