    I watch all of your videos whether it's something I would ever make or no. I'm not a fan of fish - the only way I can tolerate fish is either fish a chips or fish sticks and even then, I don't eat it very often. However, I liked the theory behind this video. Would love you to do a repeat of this video, but make it a vegetarian sushi. I love wasabi so I could get my wasabi fix with the veggie sushi! 😊

    I search the net and it says that Baked Sushi is a concoction by Mimi Reyes in the Philippines last 2015 and had become famous last year as a delivery food during the quarantine in Manila. The idea however came from the poke bowl and spam musubi of Hawaii .

    Flo i need ur help.
    U had make this super dish soy sauce chicken thighs in ur recipe.
    But when i make it in my oven how its the heat ??.
    Top or bottom heat ??

    • @FloLum
      @FloLum  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t understand the question. Bake in the oven. I suppose that must mean bottom heat?? Broil means heat from the top to brown.

    • @trabbipaul
      @trabbipaul 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FloLum
      Ok thats is it.
      Bottom heat 400° fahrenheit ca 200 ° celsius here.
      Aks u why i will it try tomorrow ur dish.
      because I asked myself what does she mean by upper and lower heating. because that did not happen in the video just with how much heat. therefore my question.

    I wash the heck out of my rice and cook for 4 minutes in the IP. It always sticks. Are you doing natural release, on keep warm, natural release but heat off, or quick release? I'm using a short grain rice.

    • @FloLum
      @FloLum  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      4 mins high pressure, 10 mins natural release (meaning it’s in keep warm mode). Must turn off keep warm after 10 minutes otherwise rice will continue cooking and start to stick and burn on the bottom. Also, rice needs to be removed right away. The longer you leave it in the pot after mixing around will make it sticky. Hope that helps.

  • @ALWhiteAuthor
    @ALWhiteAuthor 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Ahhh! Never use the flat of your paddle to mix the vinegar into Sushi rice. Always use the edge of the paddle like you're cutting the rice. That way you don't risk breaking any grains and causing it to be kinda mushy.
    I love Furikake! I use it in so many things like soups and on noodles and such. Which kind did you use for this recipe? My favorites are Nori and Seto.
