Thanks Keith, man it is so true and I have to get on this because even though we make such great use of our tech, we're also operating in this weird time where carbon copy written estimates or invoices still mean a lot to many customers. I have had many request paper copies, and now it just seems logical to get on a regular carbon copy estimate system too. Thanks again!

Do you have the customer sign the scratch waiver when you give them the estimate or do you let them know that they will have to sign it on the day of the job? Im stuck on this paper work... Driving me INSANE!

Okay but how does this work.. So you give them one of those sheets for the Quote (or Work Order right?) and then you give the customer ANOTHER one of those for the invoice once finished the job? Or how does that work?

+Your Majesty same piece of paper estimate and invoice. Once you collect payment.
Make sure you have YOUR copy with you. Then rematch the carbon copies back together and have them "sign off" that the job is complete.
And write "paid" next to each others signatures.
You can also make copies of their check and staples receipts to each invoice next to gas receipts and mileage.
