True. People get butthurt over the silliest things, and some folks don't get that bisexuality isn't some 50/50 thing. Would I have liked to romance Kaidan starting from the first game? Sure. But it actually works quite well this way too.
I'm a late blooming Bisexual man and this relationship means so much to me. That it's okay to come to terms and accept yourself at any age or circumstance.
He might have been bisexual all along. It's not like Kaiden openly talked about his sexuality in the first game. He just made some comments about Liara being nice to look at. That doesn't mean he's totally straight.

So I never romance anyone in 1 & 2 and just wait till I get to ME3 and can then romance Kaidan (I've romance someone in the first two games only once to unlock trophies). On PC it's Kaidan - no-one - Kaidan.
I like that you included the in-between stuff, like the club scene with Cortez. 😊 I always play as femShep but if I ever did play as maleShep, it’s mShep/Kaidan all the way.

But it takes lots of time to build their relationship and finally confess their sanity checked LOL. (It takes ME1, ME2 and then finally ME3 to confess their love) Can't wait for the next game of Mass Effect merge with Andromeda.

They're so great together it breaks me that Shepard doesn't make through in the end. I felt for Joker too! A best bud to both of them! I believe in my movie heart Shepard is alive and maybe found in an induced coma by a another highly intelligent super race. Hard to believe this series drew me in! Especially these two characters. Nonetheless excellent! Love this ship with these two! Why don't the studio's do live action on these two! Way overdue especially when the public cries out for original content (some independent studio's too) these major studios with their recycled plots, situations and setting they need schooling damn there is a market for this universe. I love the Kaidan mod for me1 that activates the dialogue for the romance that was removed for political reasons. It’s so good. One of the lines is male shep will flirt with kaidan saying “i think you need more physical training” and kaidan will say “finally, a reason to look forward to physical training!” Since kaidan is a non-combat specialist it makes sense. And when joker interrupts them right before they’re about to kiss lol
When I played Mass Effect 3 for the first time with my old Paragon Male Shep, I also waited until I got Ashley on board and I did the Eden Prime mission with her. Also, I admire that you were not an entire jerk to Kaidan...I could summerize your Shepard as Renegon. Prefers Renegade, but makes Paragon decisions sometimes.
I always do the Eden Prime mission with the Virmire survivor. It feels more special because that's where you did your first mission together. When I play as FemShep I usually have Ash alive so I have seen her there as well. And true, I don't go completely renegade. My ME3 Shep is as you said renegon. I'm the most renegade in ME2 and then I get those hilarious looking led eyes 😂

No. Mass Effect trilogy is Shepard's story and Mass Effect Andromeda (the latest ME game) is completely different game with different galaxy, characters and story. There is a ME game in works but no one know what it's gonna be about and who is going to be the protagonist.
That's a disappointment. I just learned of Mass Effect today. ..... And I'm kind of hooked.... But just the m/m components. ;-) The older I get the less interest I have in anything straight.
I always visit him three times (when he's unconscious, when he is awake but still in bed and when he's about to be released) but I *think* it doesn't matter if you don't visit him when he's unconscious. I think as long as you visit him when he's in bed and you give him that whisky bottle the romance path is still open.

Gifts (whiskey for Kaidan, books and other stuff for Ashley) should be available when you first arrive to Citadel. I don't think they are there anymore if you have already visited Kaidan/Ashley.

Shepard dying at the end depends on the ending you pick and the number of war assets you have. In MELE Shepard survives only if they pick destroy and they have at least 7400 war assets before the Cerberus HQ mission.

Twice during the Citadel DLC date (2:25:14), after the Citadel DLC party (2:32:23), before the Cerberus HQ mission (cabin romance scene 2:42:42) and during the final mission Priority: Earth (that's the one in the picture, 2:56:37)
I always kill off someone (besides I don't even like Miranda so she dies fairly often, either in 2 or 3). Tbh I've only done one "everyone survives" playthrough and that was because of the trophy.
@@moisemensah8233 Yeah I mainly kill characters off for roleplaying reasons. I change things up from one playthrough to another and no one is safe except Kaidan (except that one time when I saved Ash instead to see her arc and get her bonus power).
Shepard sent Kaidan away with the Normandy and then went and activated the crucible (and before he did that Anderson died). The crucible did its magic by destroying the reapers and anything with a reaper code. A lot of things got destroyed but Shepard survived and somehow Kaidan knew/sensed it and that's why he didn't place the nameplate on the wall. It's also possible to get an ending where Shepard doesn't survive and then the LI places the nameplate on the memory wall. I hope this helps!

Love the realism here. Shepherds’ facial injuries and scars are very well edited, and heal over the course of the movie.

I romanced Kaidan in my first play through with my FShep. I made a MShep to romance Tali, then I saw Kaidan again. Now I’m planning on romancing him.

In this playthrough he didn't die. Kaidan doesn't place Shepard's nameplate on the wall and at the very end you can see him breathe.
