Yeah I think this scene is a good example of your player character's decisions having consequences. Imo consequences/decisions don't always have to be the end of the world kinds of things. Little changes to how people react to you are great too.

Thank you :) As for my latest video, I expected trolls and assholes to be around when a video has "Veilguard" in the title. I was surprised how fast they rolled in, though, and I really don't have patience to deal with that crap. I've never understood the need to leave disgusting comments on videos that clearly aren't for you or you know you won't even like, but then again I'm not 12.

Thank you <3 I didn't wanna make yet another Astarion or Gale romance video that would be just like romancing them as Durge/Tav, so I thought combining two runs could be nice 'cause then you get to hear both characters speak and you can see stuff from their origin runs. It did take quite a long time and I had like 20 pages of notes just so I could keep up with my decisions and clothing options lol

You have no idea how much your kind words have cheered me up, I've been having a really bad evening. I adore BloodWeave when neither ascends and I can't wait to play this romance again once I'm done with my current co-op run :D

@@poppy7899 I love it so much how you show both perspectives of them, also that you change their clothes once in a while and implement different kisses with them. It all comes up so naturally. 💙 Bloodweave is my guilty pleasure (coming right after my Tav with Astarion). At the moment I'm doing an Origin Astarion run and have to romance Karlach because it's one of the last trophies I need to get my 100%. Everytime Gale shows up with his puppy eyes, I damn this run... 😂 The whole first act was literal torture.

@@Nachtstrasse I thought it'd be a good idea to combine two playthroughs :) That way folks see things from both perspectives, hear both characters talk, and it doesn't feel the same as romancing Gale/Astarion with Tav. I really don't like it when you need to romance a certain character in order to get an achievement :/ I just took some kind soul's savefile from Nexus, played the act3 romance scene and that's it lol I don't hate Karlach but she isn't someone I want to romance.

@@poppy7899 Most people say Gale's origin isn't interesting enough, who would play that? - Just the fact that the player learns about the Shadowweave caught me to play his origin, so did Tara! She gave the whole playthrough something unique, I love her. The irony with romancing Karlach: I romanced her once in an Astarion origin run, played until act 3 and then threw everything overboard because "I need to romance Gale with him! Immediately!" 😩 I hate it as well that the trophy is connected to a whole playthrough. I'm playing on console, so sadly I can't use the save-file. 🫤 But hey, I can use the run to get the "bevoming a mindflayer" trophy as well, so it won't be useless. 😊

@@Nachtstrasse I loved Gale Origin! It was nice to have Tara at camp, but most of all it was so interesting to find out things like how Elminster really really didn't want Gale to actually follow Mystra's order (a letter you get in act2) or how Gale could nullify shadow weave. Little things like those that don't happen if you have Gale as a companion instead.

I can see why someone might not like her. Like, she can be very rude to an elf inquisitor, and some may not be a fan of her rather childish behaviour. But yes the growth she shows is amazing and I'm glad you can see that whether you are friends with her, romanced her or romanced her as an elf but broke up when she made you choose between her and your beliefs.

@@poppy7899 In fairness to Sera she was judged and not accepted by her own kind for years which would understandably effect how she interacts with them going forward. Also (as you've shown in this video) Sera is able to accept your "Elfyness" with Mythal (even as an Elf) if you choose the right dialogue options. Can't say much about the childish behavior though since she is an Orphan. I find it funny, it works for her system, and as stated she's actually very insightful as well as smart. But yes. Sera learning truth, finding friends and/or a partner that accepts her for her is so adorable. I love her diary entry where she talks about learning more about whatever race you are because she loves you so much.

It's my favourite male voice. I've only recently tried another one (which is a great one too).

In act 1 the artefact is always close by. If you don't wake Shadowheart up on the beach, after your first long rest she can be found in the grove until you approach the goblin camp (there's a cutscene and you meet her, and if you refuse her she will stay at the goblin camp). If Shadowheart dies (on the nautiloid or you kill her), you can loot the artefact. If you leave act 1 without the artefact or Shadowheart there's a camp scene where your character realises they have it. Your character will always end up having the artefact by the end of act 1, whether Shadowheart is alive or not.

I highly recommend both playing BG3 and experiencing Gale romance. I have played his romance several times and it always gives me warm feelings. As for the black outfit, it's from one of badwitch69's mods. It's not available on Nexus anymore but you can find it from their mod archives (drive.google.com/drive/folders/1mIbaqZfITpkzOVSB8bR3cs9XmlwBbi1h). I think it's from "Gothic Wardrobe". All their clothing mods have been stunning (their BG3 Nexus page next.nexusmods.com/profile/badwitch69/mods?gameId=3474).

Thank you :) I'm still keeping an eye on the same-gender romance mod for MELE3 so that I can finish my full trilogy Kaidan romance. I've never played ME3 so that the game recognises your past romance with Kaidan. It'll be a new experience for me as well 'cause I know some things will be different compared to vanilla Kaidan romance.

Alix Wilton Regan is talented but I'm sucker for women with deep(er) voice and I think Sumalee Montano's voice fit better for my qunari inquisitor.

When you make enough renegade decisions your Shepard starts to get scars and finally red eyes.

I think in my many many runs Dorian and Bull have ended up together only once. I usually romance either of them, and when I don't I like to play as a reaver warrior myself so I don't have Bull in the team often enough to trigger their romance.

I've done three origin runs (once as Gale and twice as Astarion). While I'd love to have them voiced, it's actually not that bad imo 'cause you still get to hear banter.
