- Explore Days 1-20 of the 100-Day Project & Create A Journal Page with Me
Each year when I do The 100 Day Project, I like to share my pieces with you. This year, I’m taking it a step further and choosing a favorite and creating a journal page spread with it.
My project this year is creating stitched collages, a process I learned from my friend Colleen Attara. Come along as I show you each collage from the last twenty days. And, you can see them up close in this blog post: www.robenmarie...
After the peek, I will take you through my process of incorporating one of my favorite pieces into my junk journal. I’ll craft a quick and easy layout, effortlessly combining elements like tracing paper, stitch collages, fabric and tape.
Stay tuned for more project peeks and creative insights as I embark on the remaining 80 days of The 100 Day Project.

Hey, Tara! I appreciate it and thanks so much. 😊
I just LOVE all that I learn from you. You take the simplest of approach and it winds up looking so complicated but it's freeing! Are you going to be sharing your stitch collage process?
I would love to see how she made the stitched collage as well.
And also how she painted the tracing paper (with what type of paint)

The link is in the video description. The class is taught by Colleen Attara -- Tiny Sacred Journals. 😊
I don't like the way you made the left page at all. You have ruined this wonderful old text by putting over it this transparent colored page and the black and white elements which, in my opinion, do not match at all.😢
I happen to think it's lovely. That's the beauty of art and the artist eye. We all have different approaches and opinions. What one thinks is ruined another find magical. You are certainly entitled to your opinion but so is this artist. It is alot of work to make videos and share techniques with the world. Sometimes we see a technique and its not our preference. Other times we are inspired as I was with this video. Sometimes for the sake of artistry and the betterment of the artist it is better to be a silent observer. 🙂
Thank you for taking the time to watch my video and share your thoughts. I appreciate hearing different perspectives on creativity. While I understand that my approach may not resonate with everyone, I believe that creativity is deeply personal and subjective. It's what makes the artistic journey so rich and diverse. I'm sorry to hear that the left page didn't appeal to your taste, but I'm grateful for your feedback nonetheless. I hope you can find inspiration elsewhere that aligns more closely with your preferences. 😊🎨
@@2011nschmidt Just, thanks! 😊👍🏻
Sometimes I find some of the choices of the artist (any artist, not just Roben-Marie) not of my likes, but that is the what makes it even more special, because seeing the choices other artists make, give me other ideas and fuels my inspiration to create a piece that is trully mine. ❤
Wondering why would you feel the need to offer these unkind observations without considering the tenor of your comments and how they might affect the artist or other viewers?
