Back in the 70's my dad owned a Citgo Service Station in the Chicago Burbs. He gave away Top Value stamps. I've glued thousands of them in the books. We also got S&H Green Stamps. My grandma taught me a trick I still use today on occasion. She would get a small bowl or glass of water and dip a paper towel in it to moisten the stamps instead of licking that nasty tasting glue.
What a great bit of history and your grandma was smart not to lick that glue. I have a bunch of stamps and a few books for them too. Ah missing the past. I was born too late.
I moved to LA from the Gulf Coast and thought a heavy truck had rumbled by my new digs. Yeah, earthquake. I never noticed. I love these tutorials. I'm new to junk journals and getting a kick out of all the things that can go in one. I have an idea journal, too, now. Thanks for the help, and I hope you do many more.
Hi I'm new to your channel, love your journal and all the handmade tip ins you've made, did you coffee dye your pages or use ink? great ideas, love the idea of gluing the material on the page, very simple yet effective, thankyou for a great utube, love from Sydney Australia xxxxxxx

Just came across your channel and love your ideas! Once upon a time, I too made an idea book and every so often look at it and say I did that? A reference to the video would have served as a great momento as for the life of me can't remember where it came from....then I remembered that I put it in Pinterest but recently did a clean-up and deleted many of them as they were no longer available or gone! I have been binge watching your videos and will continue to do so as it will be another rainy day. Already subscribed and looking forward to your future videos.

Welcome! We’re neighbors. I’m using the trimmer I bought at Hobby Lobby. I think it is their brand but not 100% sure. It’s in blue and white packaging.
Hey, where are you located? I am in Wisconsin, but grew up in California. While we were in CA this summer I felt an earthquake for the first time in many years. That was only the 4th one that I have ever felt in my 65 years of living. Going out right now to see the Northern Lights. Hope we can find a good spot to see them. Love you and God bless.
Very nice video, thank you 😊 question: what's the best glue you can recommend for this? Something that will keep things intact for decades? What holds glossy paper, like magazine photos or photographs? Thank you ❤
As a newby, I'm really confused. Most tutorials define tip ins as permanently attaching one edge of a new item onto an already made journal page so that it will flip out (i.e. to add extra writing space). You have great ideas, but are they all tip ins?

Tea and coffee dye. Some were purchased on Amazon but honestly I don’t love them because they have a satin sheen. If you soak the paper in coffee (I dominant coffee and water) and then dry they will be dark

Tea and coffee dye. Some were purchased on Amazon but honestly I don’t love them because they have a satin sheen. If you soak the paper in coffee (I dominant coffee and water) and then dry they will be dark
