- Today i'm making more junk journal ephemera for my latest junk journals with these gorgeous multi pocket envelope flips. I've been mass making them for my Edith Holden Junk journals. Join me as i walk you through my process from start to finish.
You can make these with any papers or envelopes. I chose cream envelopes and book pages, but any medium weight scrapbook paper or printed digital pages or just about any type of paper would work.

Oh my! I hate it when I can’t come up with unique words to describe exactly how fabulous this project is, but it is beautiful, fun, inspiring…. All the wonderful things everyone else has said. You’re brilliant!
I needed a dose of Julie today! "There could be a family of short people living in my garden" I must have laughed for 10 minutes and then came the "ten days". I love you so much! These pockets are beautiful. Love how you decorated them.

Found her while on bed rest bcuz of a pressure sore from my new wheelchair cushion 🙃. She's like me outloud😅. I'm on my 4th video and I don't even journal 😂

So sorry you are dealing with health issues. Please don’t let your health issues get you down and keep you from creating. I know exactly what health issues can do when you let them rule your head. Listen to your body. Rest when you need to and then find the joy it sounds like you get when listening to Julie and creating.
I woke up and saw there was a new video from you. So I started to watch it and then I almost was late for work. So after work, shopping, cooking and dishes, I wanted to watch the other part of the video. But my cat and my daughter had other plans for me. Now finally, hiding in my bed I could see the last part. You made me smile all the time. And I love the envelop thing. So thank you for sharing.

You are on a roll today. 😂 from the attention hogging bright label to the musings about having bigger everything to the need for a glamorous assistant to hand you your tools to Adam Ant deep cuts I loved every minute. I bought my 1st Edith Holden book and am determined to read it before it meets my scissors. So lovely! Then I can come back and rewatch this series of videos. Beautiful work.

Thanks for another great project. I love listening to you waffle on as you craft. I'm sitting in a lobby waiting for my hubby's car. You are the perfect distraction for me while I wait. I have a ton of different size envelopes. I seem to always find them at thrift stores for a great price. As always I appreciate your humor.
My sister and I listened to Adam and the Ants A LOT when younger.

Make sure you use washable paint! 😂I grew up in Punxsutawney, PA and we knew who they were. Although, I think my sister found them when she was in college in Erie, PA

Watching this for the second time. I laughed when you mentioned Gertrude. My grandson has Suri on his phone. On his way to work he asked Suri to call someone. Suri thought he said call Nan,so I got a call at 4.30 in the morning. 😂😂😂 Val.🐨 💟

In Australia, those little metal picture hangers are not only sold in craft stores, but are also sold in hardware stores. Maybe if you visit a hardware store, you might be able to get the style you wanted and they also come in different sizes. Love the envelope flips. I will definitely be making some of those. Thank you.

This was just the best video. I too saw that Tracie had used those hangars. I did order some off amazon so we will see how they are when they come. It was great to see how you flattened those edges and then put the metal on both sides of the page. I would not have thought to do that. Excellent tutorial.

Glad you're back! I've used the cut off end of the envelopes to slip over the top of mini tablets and glue down to hide the staples. It works great for that too. You always make such beautiful things ❣️

Gorgeous Julie. You can also use a dull pencil to put your rub ons on your work. Margreth at Seven Plaza does it that way. Thank you for sharing. I love this idea. 🙂♥️

I saw the end product -it’s lovely. But I couldn’t handle the waffling. Certainly this lady is creative. But I enjoy those crafters who are thorough & clear in demonstrations.

"...surgerize". 😂🤣🤣😂 Y'know, I'm actually OK with that! I used to type medical reports for doctors who made up words ALL THE TIME! On polar opposite ends of the spectrum, one of them told me, "I love working with you because you hear what I say and you type what I mean", versus another one where I had to use her *exact* words and put them in those square brackets (that aren't on my phone pad) so that the courts didn't think her made-up words were typos!
