The idea of 15-20 minute projects, one basket or box with all necessary items for each project, AND not feeling that I have to complete x # of items, just make progress,,, this was a STRESS BREAKER idea. Thanks it’s just what I needed for this moment in my life. 🥰

Would you consider showing how you organize your supplies and projects? It looks like you use everything in your craft room when crafting. I struggle with that and I struggle with starting/ending projects.

I struggle with the same thing. By the time have my supplies together I’ve lost my train of thought. I never finished anything.

I have a folder with multiple dividers and I put my scraps in there. One my unicolours, one the patterned paper, one the ribbons and so on. Some Index cards, cardstock etc. When I have a hard time focusing I only use what's in there. I made a starter Kit for a friend who didn't need it in the end. That's a quick starter, too. Treasure books has an old Video were Natasa puts to together starter Kits for her Shop (they were gone in 60 seconds, so to speak, but you can use it as idea fountain what to put in yours for yourself) Then you can always do SOMETHING, even when overwhelmed.

@@marthadueck6461maybe you could write down your ideas as they come to you or keep a project book? You could make a list of supplies, and then make a numbered list of steps.
I really struggle with organising my paper stuff, mainly due to lack of storage but also I need to be able to see everything so I can find and use it.

What I personally do in order to begin a project without having to have to hunt all over for supplies is I have a 5-tray storage container on wheels and so have max of five projects on the go at one time. So if I am busy making my fairy journal for example I can just take out that specific tray. It can contain scrap paper, washi tapes, embellishments, beads, material, stickers or whatever has inspired me (when organising my supplies) relating to that particular project. But normally speaking these supplies have their own special places, so I have storage container with most of my washi tapes, and a huge storage box where I keep the bulk of my beads, and a box where I keep my scrap paper. I have more than 5 projects I want to make of course but I have to limit myself because I simply don’t have the room. The problem I really have, then, is where to store the completed, or semi-completed projects. I don’t want to sell them, but the more you make the more you accumulate of course.

I'm still here! The two most important people in my life have been my mother and grandmother. The yo-yo's were Mother's favorite craft and the lace flowers were Grandma's. The jewelry dangles remind me of both of their jewelry boxes which I rifled through in my boredom before daytime television. Paper and pens are my thing, so ALL of your projects today hold special meaning for me, and I hope to incorporate them into my own crafts, leaving a legacy to my children's children. Thank you for your continued inspiration.

This tutorial is so inspiring. Every time I watch you do a project I want to jump up and get started. All of these projects are absolutely beautifully done. Amazon does have the yo yo sets. I love all the beads and dangles. The sound of the embellishments clanging together is music to my ears. You make all your DIY's so elegant looking. Thank you for so many great ideas. ❤❤❤

Whether it is your color sense, design sense, or the rebirth of junk into treasure, or just your enthusiasm, every project you make is sheer deliciousness. Still here, and breathless to tackle my own stack of stuff. I understand your love of houses. I've always had a house around me, but as a child, we moved so frequently, that some never felt like a home; so houses represent stability, security, and personal space to me. I love the whimsical houses.

If you get some fine wire (fuse wire is good) you can just make yourself a large eye needle, by folding it in half. The two ends will go through a bead easily. I’ve done this for years 😊

I really love all of the ideas. The YoYo's took me back to my childhood. My mom used to make those and sew them together to make quilt tops. I am thinking that I might just make Ephemera for journals instead of making journals all the time. I like to do both, but I do not have the time I would like to have with working. One more year, then I will have more time to do what I love.....lol

Hi, Natasa! You totally caught my attention with the junk mail envelope masterboard. I had to turn the video off and go rip up envelopes--who knew it would be so cathartic? But then I ended up with piles of components; you know, windows, postage marks, big words like "Confidential!" and small ones with dates, envelope flaps, things I just had to save. Had to immediately make an ephemera holder to sort them all out and get my craft table clear enough to go back to inking and sorting the envelope pieces.
It was doggoned hard to make myself go make supper. hrumph. 😂Getting back to it, going to make the first one from the outsides of the solid colored envelopes and then I'll make the next one from the patterned insides. Thank you so much for the inspiration!!! 🤩

I can always know one of your videos before I ever look at the channel name, because your work is always precise and beautiful, extra care is taken, always new ways of doing things even if others have done them before. Your work is always so elevated when others are into junky, old looking journals and things. Not to say anything is wrong with that if they like it, then it brings joy to their art expression. But I like things that look polished and more sophisticated. They seem complete to me. Other than tea or coffee dyed, and colored dye pages, I have never really bought into actual Junk Journals. I make journals of all kinds, but they are just more polished than a lot of others. And not to say there are not others out there that feel the same way and produce exquisite journals. But getting back to my opening statement. Your videos always stick out. I always know which ones are yours, and I thank You for that. I always look forward to seeing what goodies you want to share with us each time your videos appear on my feed. (hugs) You go girl!

I decided to focus on your channel after I went on a two week vacation where I focused on the sunny climate of Jamaica. Your channel popped up first and I decided I was really overwhelmed by watching too many junk journal channels. I'm ordering your book today because it's Mother's Day Weekend. Thanks. Happy Mother's Day! Do you celebrate that in Australia?

It's been a while I don't get to work on paper. I've been trying to learn fillet crochet actually 😅 but these make me want to work a bit with my beads and paper.
Those yo-yo things, here in Brazil we call them "fuxico", which in English is something like "gossips", the reason why is because it started to be popularized here when women at poor places made them in bulk and then used them on various projects like that bag on the packaging.
A non-profit organization did it as a way to give poor women a chance to win some money, they would bring their children and let them play around, sit down and do dozens of those while "gossiping". They used scrap pieces of fabric that were donated by industry, seamstress and old clothing that were discarded/thrown away, they made a whole new way of life.
There were no specialized tools, they would make the small ones eyeballing, and the large ones using a piece of cardboard. Cut a circle, pin it to the fabric (just make some holes before to reuse) and there you go sewing along the border. Before pulling the thread unpin the board and it is ready to use again. Of course it wears out but as it is just cardboard, then you can make more, in any size you want to.
