Yes but you have to power down the drive and remove the control module. Here is one on the Automatic Device Replacement of Studio 5000 which includes backing up th-cam.com/video/TZhuCUGcp3s/w-d-xo.html
All of my drives are synchronized with their respective PLCs. I make sure the drive matches the program so when I replace the drive I can upload to the drive synchronize then download to the PLC.
@@TimWilborne you’re right and equally as frustrating when someone has replaced a drive and didn’t do that when I can’t communicate with it through the program or CCW
Hello Sir. Why we don't use logic design to back up it. Thanks
Two reasons
1. CCW is free
2. You don't need a PLC in your project to backup the drive.
But you can do the backup in Studio 5000 also.
@@TimWilborne Thanks for responding. Some people talk about version fit with Studio and CCW can back up any version, no problem, but I confused that
Can’t you back up the pf525 with just a regular usb app that gets you the pf525 file? Also do you have a video on backing up on studio 5000?
Yes but you have to power down the drive and remove the control module.

Lol just yesterday we seen your video on usb connections for the drive.
We now set up our station to save the values from the power flex 520 series.
Great!
is there any way that I backup from a drive which as IP 192.168.0.1 and want to download those parameter on drive with ip 192.168.0.2 ?
Yes, this method should work for that.

A very good practice.
