    Whoa Nelley, B4C and it's over for thee.
    Triple R Auto Sales is still there and has two buildings, across the street from each other. I'm going to say that one of them was a dealership at one time and the other was probably a gas station. I like those older buildings like that. They have character. Yes, the B4C was a Special Service Package available on 1991 and up Camaros. It was available on 3rd generation cars in 1991-1992 and for the entire fourth generation run from 1993 to 2002. There are various videos on You Tube of older police chase footage with B4C Camaros.
    We got the VIN, we win: 2G1 for Canadian made Chevrolet, FP22 for Camaro Sport Coupe, P for 5.7L V8 with MFI, aka RPO code "LT1", 2 is a check digit, V for the 1997 model year, 2 for St. Therese Quebec, Canada assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The St. Therese plant operated from 1966 to 2002 and then closed with the end of the 4th generation F body cars.
    We got the SPID, glad you did: AM3 for lumbar massage controls, AK5 for driver and passenger air bag system, AR9 for reclining front bucket seats, AU0 for keyless entry fob system, AU3 for power locks, A31 for power windows, A90 for power deck release, B4C for Special Service Package, B84 for body side moldings, C49 for rear defogger, C60 for air conditioning, DG7 for dual electric mirrors, DL5 for roadside decal, FE2 for ride and handling package, FE9 for Federal emission system, GAM for government vehicle, G80 for limited slip differential, GU5 for 3.23 rear end ratio, J65 for four wheel disc brakes, KG9 for 140 amp alternator, K34 for cruise control, LT1 for 5.7L V8, MX0 for automatic transmission, merchandising option, M30 for 4L60E electronic four speed overdrive automatic transmission, aka "electronic THM350", NF2 for Tier 1 Federal emissions, NK3 for simulated leather wrapped padded steering wheel, NW9 for traction control, N96 for 16x8 cast aluminum wheels, QLC for P245/50Z16 tires, STE for St. Therese, Quebec Canada assembly, T82 for automatic on/off headlamp control, T96 for fog lamps, UA6 for theft deterrent system, UB3 for oil, coolant temperature, volts, tachometer and trip odometer gauge package, UM6 for AM-FM stereo radio with cassette and clock, UQ0 for standard four speaker system, U73 for fixed antenna, VK3 for front license plate bracket, VM3 for consumer label information (bumper standards, 5 MPH crash rating, etc.), V73 for US/Canada vehicle statement, 13U for Sebring Silver exterior paint, 14I for Light Gray interior trim, 14B for Gray interior trim, 1AA for sales incentive, retail amenities delete (probably due to being a government vehicle), 1SA for sales package, 1SZ for package options, 1FP87 for Chevrolet (1) Camaro Sport (FP) Coupe (87), among other codes. No, the B4C "deletes" the Z-28-isms in a way but retains the good stuff. That was the beauty of buying one of them. The "30th" embroidery in the rear seats is the 30th anniversary notation of the Camaro (1967 to 1997).
    Whoa Nelley, bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do when they come for you? This car could have put you in the pokey, now it looks very hokey. That's it, time to quit. 4th gen has met the end. LT1 and it's done. Sold used by Triple R and not going very far. Chevy looking kinda heavy. F body is very shoddy. Going to be flat and that's that. G80 and gotta go. We got the VIN, and we win. We got the SPID and we're glad you did. Going to get squished and many here, perhaps Benny but only slightly so with the Google Man are going to be pissed.

    • @googleusergp
      @googleusergp ปีที่แล้ว

      @@petevise That would be an accurate statement if you had a clue what you were talking about, which you don't. Which GM engine and transmission usage charts did you help write? (I hear you say "None"). I did the 17F and 22F ones for starters, how about you? Do you know what 17F and 22F are? (You do now, because you had to Google it. Something you wouldn't have to do if you helped with writing it). What OEM supplier did you work for? (Newsflash, you didn't).
      You can "read" a VIN and a SPID, but can you decode them without looking them up? No, you can't. I can. Plus, if you do have to look them up (which you do, because keyboard commandos like you fold like a cheap suit when confronted), you'd be using documents that I helped write. That's the difference. Sit back and relax. You might learn something.
      Any other questions?

    Back in the day I owned a '93 LT1 Camaro with the ultra rare "1LE" option. It was #09 of a total of 17 produced. It was a 6-speed manual bare bones car; hardtop, cloth interior, manual seats and locks. Came from the factory with stiffer springs and sway bars among a few other things.

    I'm a ford guy and feel this. I have a 74 Maverick Grabber. PS, Disc, AC, auto idle kickdown, seatbelt interlock, AM/FM, trim rings and hub caps, V8/C4 medium bright blue metallic with medium blue interior and a bench seat. ordered with that because the guy who owned it bought it new for himself as a retirement gift and had a bad back. Of the 13,000 Grabbers made in 74' 13 came with this package and color combo. I paid 2,800 and it had 99,412 miles on it from his widow. I also collect antique firearms and indeed rare doesn't mean valuable. I do hope that Camaro gets saved.
