Beef Asado Siopao with 2 two types of dough| sauce and filling recipe| best asado siopao|Bake N Roll

Ingredients:
Dough option 1: ( with shortening)
all purpose flour 300 grams 2 3/8 cups + extra for dusting
sugar 40 grams
instant yeast 1 tsp
baking powder 1 tsp
salt 1/2 tsp
warm water 163 grams (2/3 cup)
shortening 2 tbsp (30 grams)
Dough option 2: (with oil and powder milk)
all purpose flour 360 grams + extra for dusting
sugar 35 grams
baking powder 4 grams
instant yeast 5 grams
powder milk 20 grams
warm water 200 grams
oil 35 grams
Asado filling:
beef 750 grams (cut into cubes) boil until tender
oil 2 tbsp
onion 1 large or 3 tbsp (minced)
garlic tbsp (minced)
soy sauce 4 tbsp
oister sauce 3 tbsp
sugar 3 tbsp
star anise 2 pcs
beef stock (1/2 cup) don sa pinagpakoloan ng beef
slurry:
cornstarch 2 tbsp
water 1/4 cup
Siopao sauce:
warm water 1 cup
soy sauce 3 tbsp
sugar 1/3 cup
garlic 1 clove
pepper 1tsp
cornstarch 1 1/2 tbsp
vinegar 2 tbsp
Storage:
After steaming, let it cool completely and put it into a ziplock bag then place it in the freezer. It will last for 1 to 2 months in the freezer while 7 days in the fridge.

Marahil malkas ang apoy kaya po naging flat. Wag nyo din agad tanggalin sa steamer pagkaluto patayin nyo po ang apoy at bubuksan lang ng konti ang takip para makasingaw yong init
