@@Anaspassion I tried it. Everything went fine but then the siopao collapsed after I took it out from the steamer (I waited 5-10 minutes before I opened the bamboo steamer). Any idea why the dough collapsed? I followed exactly your procedure and measured the ingredients in grams and used All purpose flour.
I had the same problem before. But with a different recipe. The reason why my siopao collapsed was because there’re too much space inside. I have not pressed the dough together with the meat inside. The othe reason also based on my experience was that my filling was too watery and so the dough inside didn’t cook so well…

I love your demonstration of your siopao and the way move on every step is well understood . I do cook siopao and also on one demo I had seen on a Chinese lady , she used 8 pleats so I got pretty siopao and they look really good. Thanks for the good caution on opening after turning of your heat , your the only who did mention it. Viva kosinera, I am from Houston but Pilipino.
