Excellent video, just to clear it up, the strange little device is not the ultimate nullifier, it is in fact the anti-magnetic inverter that Peter uses to defeat the Vulture in Amazing Spider-man issue # 2 from Feb 1963.
Thank you, I’m trying to make my way through the original FF comics then Spiderman is next on my list. Excited to actually understand the accessories lol
@@Jack_Learneyactually that device is the receiver for those “spider bots” which are actually spider tracers (Amazing Spider-Man 11). Before he found out he could somehow use his spider sense, he use to carry around a mini receiver to track his tracers’ signal. The device use to destabilize the Vulture’s wings has more cylinder shape.
Great posing! i agree. This is my fav Spider-man right now, and I have most all of the Marvel legends, and I have the classic comic Mafex (which is a close second).
Great review! I've read heating up the joint inside the thigh and pinching it as it cools tightens loose legs on Mezco. I've been begging Crafty Gecko to make articulated feet for this figure. He mentioned needing the figure to get the proper measurements and coloring.
You did a fine job on this. For me it's a love/hate scenario. I'm into the aesthetic and overall retro Mego vibe. But the materials and quality of stitching, are pretty low rent. The large head (and scrawny cosplay body), doesn't mirror what we see saw in the '60s comic art. The light up head is a complete fail, thanks to heavy light bleed. Maybe too much of the budget was apportioned to the accessories? I don't know, but thankfully the Green Goblin turned out so much better. It's just too bad the textiles on these things will crumble well before their time.
Very funny and informative review, subscribed! I'm guessing from your accent that you're based in the UK, if you are then please let me know where you get your figures from since I'm also based in the UK and shipping prices have gotten pretty rough since covid lol.
2:59 YEAH SPIDER-MAN on that mewing streak

Only thing I would want Mezco to do is one thing, foot articulation

I’m considering him next… IF I enjoy my first Mezco (coming in soon) Mezco Deluxe Wolverine

I wish there was a 1/6 scale version of this figure! It's awesome good video mate! 👍✌
