The Last Day of May | Finding Solace On Long Swamp Road

I'm feeling a little low today as we have now come to the last day of May. As I've mentioned a number of times before, May is my favourite month of the year. And to see it flash by so quickly brings a certain sadness to my heart and soul.
In an effort to get out of my mental funk, the dogs and I head out for a walk on Long Swamp Road. We have not been here lately so I figure it's time for a visit.

I echo your feelings regarding May being over... it is my favourite month of the year as well and it seems to fly by faster each year. It's the peak of spring migration, the world is bursting with green and new life in every form and the days continue to grow longer and longer. I love June too and there are unique things I look forward to each month, but I wish I could hold onto May a tad longer.

May is definitely the best month. It gets too hot after that.
