Marco Polo was SUCH a amazing show though, I still don't understand what happened... The setting, the actors, the scenarios everything was perfect. I really can't understand what went wrong i'm just disappointed it got canceled =/
The racism such that Mongolia and China both refused them to film there plagued the show from the beginning. Also the sexism. Ableism. Zero Mongolian cast members or crew (because who would sign up for something that put you and yours down that far and get it so wrong?). And then total refusal to do any kind of research such that PoC were complaining their heads off haunted the show from the beginning, so people went with solidarity over celebrating a white dude with "too much yang" in the worst depiction of a blind martial artist I've ever seen. They were bullshitting hard with little to no research and asking PoCs to support it because, you know, PoC faces. And we said no.
i'm sorry but i think you have this the wrong way . while critics may informe the public of how they found the show keep in mind that shows survive on ratings and the ratings are me and you and all others so even if the critics do happen to like it it wont have an impact on its cancellation if the viewers rating are low
I love Marco Polo. Who would not love it. It was beautiful, not historically accurate but the setting, the adventure, the ideas, everything was awesome.
like lets made it like Star Trek, a ship out who knows where, with this bird fella as his second as opposed to Erin Gray who was the reason everyone watched. Theres a tease of the pilot of Buck Rogers Begins, with Gil and Erin as Bucks parents with Bobby Rice as Rice. Nothing came of it however
Marco Polo had some of the worst writing of any show in the last decade. The acting was ok and the cinematography was amazing, but nothing could save the show from its horrible dialogue. With that big of a budget you would have thought they could afford to hire some real writers.
Camelot had some weaknesses but I still liked it, I am not a big fan of Eva Green but she playd it so good, in my eyes teh best Morgana ever, also (R)Evolution was worth continuing (but about the same weaknesses like Camelot). What I really do not understand is what happend with Marco freakin Polo. That has been one of the best shows ever seen on screen. But the f***ing Kardashians get a billion episodes and 100 spin offs, all about some of the most stupid people to ever walk the earth and of course their f**** handbags while dads turning into moms and the continuing fighting about sensless bullshit. This is so wrong.
Not sure how expensive it was, but I know I was disappointed when it was cancelled. Honestly, I am still disappointed that Showtime's "Dead Like Me" only made it to two seasons...
Marco Polo had some of the worst writing of any show in the last decade. The acting was ok and the cinematography was amazing, but nothing could save the show from its horrible dialogue. With that big of a budget you would have thought they could afford to hire some real writers.
Camelot is worth watching for Eva Green alone. Since there are so many King Arthur movies and shows, they really should have made this series all about Morgana LeFay (Eva Green) and her point of view, as she was the most interesting character in the show.
yeah, Arthur actor was sole reason not to watch. Pretty boys just doesn't fit in this kind of roles. Same problem with Shannara Chronicles. Too pretty, not convincing.
Everyone around Arthur was insufferable. I only watched in the vain hope they would realize what they had in Eva Green and let her just murder them all one by one. The only actor on there that could keep up with her was on her side, James Purefoy.
Kings was a great show but suffered from terrible marketing. They shouldn't have led with saying it was a retelling of the bible stories, since that both attracted and repelled different kinds of viewers.
im an atheist and i dont hate the idea having biblical stories...but the stuff that's usually made overtly christian for christians usually sucks ass. and im not just saying that, most of that kind of stuff isn't even popular among christians.
You're atypical. A good percentage of atheists border on Muslim level fanaticism in going after anything that doesn't support their faith. Yes, it's faith. They're saying "God does NOT exist" just as ardently as a Christian is saying He does. If you aren't sure, you're not an atheist, you're an agnostic.
Marco Polo suffered ONLY from the first couple episodes being a bit dull, but more than making up for it halfway through season 1. Thing is, the idiot critics gave their verdicts before the season was even finished, and it couldn't get over the bad press. Marco Polo was WAY better than "Game of Thrones."
STr8KasHomie I know, right? At the end of second season's last episode, I thought, "Damn! Season three is gonna be awesome." About a week later, I read that Netflix canceled it. 😭
Kings was REALLY good. Every episode was so gorgeously filmed it looked like a movie. I can believe the price tag on that show. I think the biggest problem was it was never well advertised - it's an odd premise and there was contradictory info in the promo materials. At least the episodes that aired make up a decent arc.
And also with Camelot was game of thrones? How could they stand up to that? I actually liked Camelot and didn't watch got until after Camelot was cancelled. I'm pretty sure that was a bigger issue than actor pay....
I can't believe Battlestar is on this list. The first season was great! It was the second, re-configured Galactica 1980 that sucked. The only episode I liked was "The Return of Starbuck." The rest of the season was TERRIBLE!!!!
I was just reading the comments and it seems that Marco Polo's cancellation was due to something "Other" than a small audience and inflated price tag. People seemed to love it as I do. Just one more Network boondoggle.
Mid NighT weirdly, I started the show right when first season came out, then I planned to come back to it, but didn't for some reason. Plus, my brother didn't recommend me to watch it because of ending, so I decided to leave it be. But recently I had nothing to do and finished it, it was fucking brilliant. I will never listen to my brother ever again.
Best scenes were of Frankenstein's monster. Especially the scenes between he an Ava Green's character. My favorite scene is when he's talking and Victor is about to pull the trigger at the back of his head, but changes his mind cuz he felt sorry for him.
Viva Laughlin! 😂 I remember that The Soup tore it to shreds. It was so cheesy and the music was ridiculous. I still can’t believe Hugh Jackman was in it and produced it. I think they need to re-air the series. It was classically awful.
I was living in Las Vegas when that show came out and we all laughed saying "we don't want to see the real Laughlin why would we want to see it on tv?"
To be fair, nobody involved had hindsight and it was based on Viva Blackpool, which had been massively successful in the UK. Traditionally adaptations of UK shows in the States are a reasonable safe bet as they either prove hugely successful [All In The Family and The Office for example] or at least hold their own without setting the world on fire [Life on Mars] I suppose Blackpool's advantage was that this bizarre genre was known to the British public from previous shows like the Singing Detective and Pennies From heaven, which had both also been huge successes. With the history of success of UK remakes it's not surprising Hugh Jackman thought he was buying into a winner.
ADP1998 They should have at least come back and did a end season or episode instead of leaving us on a REALLY big cliffhanger. The second season was really interesting.
Marco polo is the biggest crime here. Had they dealt with the upfront losses this show would have had a legacy that yielded subs and revenue for many years of story arch’s were completed. Their fear of loosing some money caused them to make a bad decision.
The 1st episode was great then it went downhill only to really pick up in the last episode setting the stage for what would have been a really good season 2

guy tremblay ummm ya your dead wrong cult classics are shows or movies that usually become popular long after they have been released or cancelled. Just off the top of my head The Office (uk version), Firefly (huge cult following and it only has 14 episodes), Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared.
The original Battlestar Galactica was an awesome show! I couldn't wait for each weeks episode, read all the books and had almost all of the toys too. Galactica 80 was pretty weak though and the reboot was great the first 3 seasons, then it got too convoluted for my tastes.
I said it above, but NBC didn't place or market the show worth a damn. Sunday nights? A historic biblical drama being shown while people are probably at church. BRILLIANT.
Yes it was great. And 1980 started good, until they got rid of the original plot with the time travel. After that, it was a bore compared to the original 1978 series.
When I saw the promos for Kings, it looked so uninteresting. What was it? An alternate world story of where the US had a monarchy? Very confusing, but I watched anyway because of Ian McShane. THEN I found out it was an updating of the Biblical Story of David set in modern day. And it was wonderful! Well....why didn't you TELL us that? The promos downplayed all aspects that this was based on the Bible. I'll bet if the church going folks were aware of this, it would have been a big hit. NBC tried to downplay the very thing that made this story work. Their fear killed the show.
The network was afraid that the show would offend the religious right because it was an adaptation of the story rather than an exact depiction of how the bible tells the story. Back when it aired that was a valid concern. However, because of that they never really promoted the show or told anyone what the show really was. You had to watch the show to see how fantastic it was, and by the time I found out about it they had already cancelled the show.
I beg you to watch Kings. It is my all time favourite show and it has everything going for it. Such a huge shame it only got one season but the way the ended it was till satisfying.
One show that was short lived, mainly due to the writer strike, was the Cavemen show spawned off from the Geico Commercials. It wasnt some award winning show, but it was great to sit down with the Mrs and watch a show that took your mind off your problems.
Don Johnson's "A Mann's World" cost millions and never made it out of pilot episode. The even installed a pool in the sound stage at WB where they filmed as there was a pool at the protagonists's home apartment.
I agree. It was a good show. I do think it would have probably had a better chance on cable or as a limited series. I don’t think streaming was an option when it debuted.
I liked NBC's Kings it was good but in my opinion it was due to the fact that NBC kept changing the day and time it aired on so it lost a lot of viewers because of it
I really wanted Kings to do well, but it just did not happen. Ian McShane was awesome, as always. Some of the other characters were starting to get interesting and I think the show could have become much better if it had had a little more time to find it's voice. Kinda sad, but no surprising.
My late mom LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Star Trek and was an omnivorous reader of sci fi. But even SHE came away from the original Battlestar Galactica feeling that it was the clunkiest, most amateurish, worst-acted, worst special-effects debacle she ever saw. And that was going some for her. She ditched BG after a mere three episodes.
@@FuryanJedi13 The original was more hopeful and uplifting about the spirit of human survival after an armageddon. The reboot was more pessimistic and therefore more dour. To see the contrast compare the senes when the Ardama announces his intention to lead the fleet to seek out the lost thirteenth colony on Earth.
Thats sad.... because I really enjoyed Marco Polo. Granted, I didn't actually like Marco Polo himself, but rather everything that was going on around him.
Did anyone ever see the Hundred Eyes Netflix short film, which was a prequel to Hundred Eyes' story in Marco Polo? He was one of the best parts of that show, and his epic boss fight at the end of season 2 was THE BEST!
"Flop" doesn't necessarily mean a bad show. In fact, a lot of great TV shows suffer from ratings because they are too good to attract a large audience.
Camelot was absolutely horrible. A King Arthur as a weakling idiot, a Merlin that refuses to use magic, I mean WTF? Even the talent and raw beauty of Eva Green couldn't save it.
What other pricey TV flops should've made this list?
Hey woss going on
HBO's Rome was great but I'm surprised it didn't make the list.
Looper the pillars of the earth.
Looper Penny Dreadful.
Looper Da Vinci's Demons.
Marco Polo was SUCH a amazing show though, I still don't understand what happened... The setting, the actors, the scenarios everything was perfect. I really can't understand what went wrong i'm just disappointed it got canceled =/
The costumes, the sets - it's gorgeous! I love being in that world.
i enjoyed Marco Polo!
me too :)
Marco Polo was great...
Marco Polo was definitely a solid show. Don't know what the critics were thinking, but then again, they RAVED about La La Land. Enough said...
Iceman910902 ugh right !!!!!!
i agree.
had good acting, good ambient.
the problem comes from people that listen to critics and decide not to have their own opinion.
My thoughts exactly!!!!!

I love Marco Polo. Who would not love it. It was beautiful, not historically accurate but the setting, the adventure, the ideas, everything was awesome.
Camelot was an amazing show with a great cast. Wish it could’ve lasted longer. I loved Joseph Fiennes as Merlin.
It was really only one season ?
Marco polo was just amazing!
Loved Marco Poli!
I’m watching the series on Netflix - it’s terrific!
I liked Marco polo, and was disappointed when it was cancelled
Marco Polo was underrated
Buck Rogers was another 70s sci fi show that was ruined because the network demanded it be dumbed down and made kid friendly
like lets made it like Star Trek, a ship out who knows where, with this bird fella as his second as opposed to Erin Gray who was the reason everyone watched. Theres a tease of the pilot of Buck Rogers Begins, with Gil and Erin as Bucks parents with Bobby Rice as Rice. Nothing came of it however
I was down with S2. The whole series was cool as hell.
So true, but I still liked S2 enough. However the S1 episodes I never want to miss.
Marco Polo was brilliant and its a shame it didn't get more viewers and praise.
Marco polo was so good. They should bring it back
Marco Polo was a great series and I was so pissed when it was cancelled.
randalthor13 Wait, it was cancelled? Oh, no I am gonna have to read some history books.
exactly my thoughts
I was mad for months. People sure do love crappy shits like GOT.
Sorry, but GOT is far from shit, although some things that I don't like. It is much better than Deadpool XD.
randalthor13 Same here!
"Hard core fans?" Um, some of us watched the first Battlestar Gallactica when it originally aired! :)
I bought the disks for every season and. still watch.
Back then, it was one of those shows me and other kids could talk about. Galactica 1980 not so much.
Millennials can't contemplate that any generations preceeded them. They only know of "Boomers" and don't even acknowledge Gen-X existed.
Remember, the current critics are very jaded! Just look at movies.
It may have been a flop but Eva Green is still smoking hot.
Already have. :)
@CavemanJesus4Life
Doesn't matter, she's amazingly hot anyways.
thats not up for debate - she is hot hot hot
JasonJMist, "La Mer", wink. 😉
Woah! Thank you :D
I liked Camelot, and was looking forward to season two, which never came. :(
I love Marco Polo, the setting is astonishing
Yeah I enjoyed it a lot myself. Sure it wasn't perfect and not historically accurate but there's no other show like it.
Marco Polo was fantastic!! I was pissed that it wasn't a third season.
Marco Polo was really good. They simply didn't market it enough. Go watch it. You'll love it. Thousand Eyes was so fucking cool.
Marco Polo was awesome :(
I thought Marco Polo was fantastic, primarily because of Wong's performance and the setting.
Marco Polo had some of the worst writing of any show in the last decade. The acting was ok and the cinematography was amazing, but nothing could save the show from its horrible dialogue. With that big of a budget you would have thought they could afford to hire some real writers.
Camelot had some weaknesses but I still liked it, I am not a big fan of Eva Green but she playd it so good, in my eyes teh best Morgana ever,
also (R)Evolution was worth continuing (but about the same weaknesses like Camelot).
Clicked for eva green
Me too
same
OOOooh yeah
Hawt
ditto
I was guessing Terra Nova would be on here. It was Fox's most expensive show at the time
I liked that show.
That show had so much potential but it tanked in the last couple of episodes.
I like that one too
Not sure how expensive it was, but I know I was disappointed when it was cancelled. Honestly, I am still disappointed that Showtime's "Dead Like Me" only made it to two seasons...
David Mosley That was such a good show and still had so much possibility!
Marco Polo was great, I enjoyed it on Netflix! Season 2 finished on cliffhanger though, I was pissed it got canceled!
Marco Polo had some of the worst writing of any show in the last decade. The acting was ok and the cinematography was amazing, but nothing could save the show from its horrible dialogue. With that big of a budget you would have thought they could afford to hire some real writers.
Marco Polo was great btw.
I Never heard of Kings, I probably would have watched it
Marco Polo was my show, so sad to see it go
Camelot is worth watching for Eva Green alone. Since there are so many King Arthur movies and shows, they really should have made this series all about Morgana LeFay (Eva Green) and her point of view, as she was the most interesting character in the show.
Agreed. Eva made Camelot watchable. And not (just) because she got naked on-cam. Her acting were always divine and just as beautiful as her body.
yeah, Arthur actor was sole reason not to watch. Pretty boys just doesn't fit in this kind of roles. Same problem with Shannara Chronicles. Too pretty, not convincing.
On the money there
Everyone around Arthur was insufferable. I only watched in the vain hope they would realize what they had in Eva Green and let her just murder them all one by one. The only actor on there that could keep up with her was on her side, James Purefoy.
If you are interested in Morgana's point of view of the whole story, I recommend to you the book saga "The Mists of Avalon".
Kings was a great show but suffered from terrible marketing. They shouldn't have led with saying it was a retelling of the bible stories, since that both attracted and repelled different kinds of viewers.
The old testament's got some sick stories, no joke.
You're right because I had never even heard of it till now.
Atheists and their related ilk naturally hate something that puts a threat to their stranglehold over Hollywood.
im an atheist and i dont hate the idea having biblical stories...but the stuff that's usually made overtly christian for christians usually sucks ass. and im not just saying that, most of that kind of stuff isn't even popular among christians.
I freaking loved Marco Polo just saying.
weehawk sorry but inaccurate and focused on the ugly side of life if it had been a straight up fantasy it would still b on
one of my all time favorite tv series.
me too. except that marco was probably everyone's least favorite character. :P
Show made me cringe a lot
me too T-T
I loved Battlestar Galactica, sue me! 💜
even if the ending was rushed and didn't answer all the questions we had.
Eva Green is absolutely gorgeous. Her eyes are haunting.
Her eyes are increadible. And huge.
She looks like a porcelain doll. She's flawless:)
Ikr i enjoyed some creepy odd films she is a lead in. Cracked and Womb. Although the man in the second film made it annoying to watch, she was superb
You should check Eva Green Twin sister Joy ;)
I even liked Eva Green in "Dark Shadows"
Marco Polo suffered ONLY from the first couple episodes being a bit dull, but more than making up for it halfway through season 1. Thing is, the idiot critics gave their verdicts before the season was even finished, and it couldn't get over the bad press. Marco Polo was WAY better than "Game of Thrones."
Well I think it's just stupid to make first episodes boring. I stopped watching after the first few episodes and I'm pretty sure I'm not alone.
Wow...They didn't make them boring! They were boring...uhm...what-now?
Damn I didn't even know Marco Polo got canceled, here I've been just patiently awaiting a 3rd season with a possible invasion of Japan arc😣
Aaron Scudder me too:'(
Same.
My wife is mad at me for showing her Marco Polo because now she wants to see season 3, but it is not coming =(
ditto
Me too 😢
Marco polo was an awesome show. Tv and streaming services are saturated with so much crap that the good stuff gets overlooked.
I don’t understand how Marco Polo was so disliked 😡
STr8KasHomie I know, right? At the end of second season's last episode, I thought, "Damn! Season three is gonna be awesome." About a week later, I read that Netflix canceled it. 😭
Just give me a show about 'Hundred eyes'
They did a spin off on netflix on him, not a series though :D
I actually liked it too :/
STr8KasHomie it was brilliant wtf
Kings was REALLY good. Every episode was so gorgeously filmed it looked like a movie. I can believe the price tag on that show. I think the biggest problem was it was never well advertised - it's an odd premise and there was contradictory info in the promo materials. At least the episodes that aired make up a decent arc.

Anyone with a brain knows Battlestar Galactica was a series from decades ago.
Battle star galactica was awsome loved that show as a kid
I loved it as a kid too. I didn't realize how few episodes there actually were. As a kid, it felt like there were hundreds of them.
They turned Cassiopeia from a socialator to a nurse with a high collar!
one the best series ever made, today every serie looks like mexican daily soups
Battlestar had decent ratings, but was just too expensive to produce. Trivia: It was initially planned to be a series of TV movies.
I can't believe Battlestar is on this list. The first season was great! It was the second, re-configured Galactica 1980 that sucked. The only episode I liked was "The Return of Starbuck." The rest of the season was TERRIBLE!!!!

I thought penny dreadful would be on the list when I saw Eva Green , that show was so good and her performance deserved an Emmy
Mid NighT I'm pretty sure they weren't going to go past 3 seasons which is a damn shame!
It was an awful show. Good for a few episodes, started jumping the shark early on with a bunch of psychology, soliloquies.
The ending felt abrupt. It was a great show.
Mid NighT weirdly, I started the show right when first season came out, then I planned to come back to it, but didn't for some reason. Plus, my brother didn't recommend me to watch it because of ending, so I decided to leave it be. But recently I had nothing to do and finished it, it was fucking brilliant. but marco polo was awesome, and after we know how GOT ended... we all shell pray it comes back
I really like Kings. So sad it was canceled.
Sadye J One of my favorite shows. I watch a few times a year on my Vudu acct.
Kings was an excellent show but I knew it wouldn't last on network tv. It belonged on HBO or Showtime.
Agree,it was atypical good for a US show. So no wonder only few watched it.....
Viva Laughlin! 😂 I remember that The Soup tore it to shreds. It was so cheesy and the music was ridiculous. I still can’t believe Hugh Jackman was in it and produced it. I think they need to re-air the series. It was classically awful.

Maaaaan. I loved Camelot. Michael Hirst makes fantastic shows!
Marco NEEDS to come back!!!!!
AwesomeNow 'N'Later The show was too expensive to produce. That is the same reason why fellow Netflix show The Get Down got cancelled.
ADP1998 They should have at least come back and did a end season or episode instead of leaving us on a REALLY big cliffhanger. The second season was really interesting.
For nothing else........a final season is guaranteed gold!
Penny Dreadful is one of my favorite shows of all times, shame
Marco Polol was a stunning show imo- maybe not stroywise that much but the setting
X X l
Main character of Polo needs to be recast
some of the story arcs and characters were good... but there were definitely issues with the writing
"KIngs" was actually pretty decent, for a network series. It's worth at least one watch.
You forgot inhumans!
Yeah, Perlmutter (a multi-millionaire who is known to fish in the trash for used paper clips) tried to go full cheapo on Inhumans and it showed.
Dario Esquivel That explains why the show looked like crap.
This video has a larger budget than Inhumans.
Anneetta Life Whenever they showed Lockjaw in particular during commercial breaks of shows I actually watched, I always thought something was off.
And to think it was shot in IMAX Digital.
Marco polo is the biggest crime here. Had they dealt with the upfront losses this show would have had a legacy that yielded subs and revenue for many years of story arch’s were completed. Their fear of loosing some money caused them to make a bad decision.
Y'all missed Terra Nova
Terra Nova was an amazing show. Terra Nova, APB and Breakout Kings were amazing shows that should've never been cancelled.
Terra Nova suffered from bad directing. It could have been great though.
The 1st episode was great then it went downhill only to really pick up in the last episode setting the stage for what would have been a really good season 2
They didn't miss it. I just don't think it cost as much as those did per episode. The CGI was so shit in that show I knew it wasn't going to last.
Just checked it out quickly with a little google search, aparently it was 5.4 million pr. episode. 70 million total for 13 episodes.
I agree with every flop except Marco Polo. I for one, loved it.
I'm a simple man. I see Eva Green, I click like
Oh you poor simple man.
1970s Battle star Galactica was a cult classic. That shouldn’t be up there with
The rest of these flops 👎
The The
Totally agreed
seriously ? a cult classic ? why did it get cancelled after the first season ? why did the fallow up not survive ?. You dont call something cult classic if it didn't stay for a second season
@@guytremblay1647 you have no idea what you're talking about lol

The original Battlestar Galactica was an awesome show! I couldn't wait for each weeks episode, read all the books and had almost all of the toys too. Galactica 80 was pretty weak though and the reboot was great the first 3 seasons, then it got too convoluted for my tastes.
Anybody remember Judson Scott in "The Phoenix" in 1982? If you blinked, you missed it.
I loved Kings, and I agree with you on it ❤️
Kings was awesome. Lots of people watched it but unfortunately the budget was so high that it wasn't enough people.
TJ Watson -- i loved it also! But i knew that it's message would encounter increasing resistance!
If they would have advertised it for what it was, Kings would probably still be on
Yeah Kings was good for sure.
I said it above, but NBC didn't place or market the show worth a damn. Sunday nights? A historic biblical drama being shown while people are probably at church. BRILLIANT.
_Kings_ was a great show that no one but me ever saw. Until this list I thought I had dreamed it.
I really liked Marco Polo :(
I didn't realize people didn't like Marco Polo. I'm going back now to make sure I have it liked.
I loved the original Battlestar Galactica 😜 .
The show's creator, Glen Larson, was a devout Mormon and filled episodes with Mormon beliefs and theology.
I think most people who watched Battlestar orignal season loved it. The 1980 one was ugly as sin.
The original tv movie is fantastic 💛💛
Yes it was great. And 1980 started good, until they got rid of the original plot with the time travel. After that, it was a bore compared to the original 1978 series.
Didn't notice any of that. When I watch TV shows I try not to take them too seriously. And just watch them for entertainment and enjoyment.
Kings and Marco Polo was heartbreaking when they ended.
Anybody here remember Pan Am?
I thought it was called _Flying High_ ?
The actresses were hot. The stories could be better.
Must we?
Margot Robbie was there
Kings was pearls before swine. An amazing show that was wasted on the network's target audience.
I love Marco polo
Kings was freaking fantastic. The writing was superb. It's worth watching just for the one season.
watching marco polo's 2nd episode liking it so far btw fuck the critics
There is no other Battlestar Galactica than the 70s original. I am an original BSG elitist and proud of it.
The Theme from Supertrain was recycled and used for the game show "Chain Reaction"
Kings was pretty good, and Sebastian Stan was wonderful in it.
I loved the train scene when David was looking for the charter and came across the Ark of the Covenant but didn't see it.
Supertrain and Battlestar Galactica were mentioned in a MAD Magazine article Prime time TV Graveyard.
I liked Marco Polo. Not perfect & I could do without the very stylized chinese fighting-thing, but after season 2 I looked forward to the third
I was definitely upset about Camelot. It need a second season to wrap some things up.
"Earth 2" should be on that list as well.
KRAFTWERK2K6 I liked earth 2
KRAFTWERK2K6 Earth 2 wasn't really all that bad
If anything, it was a little confusing from time to time
KRAFTWERK2K6 are you talking about the documentary movie ???
@ Waleed Belal: No, i'm talking about that shortliving Steven Spielberg TV Sci-Fi series from the mid-90s.
It was a poor man's Seaquest.
The "make a bad pun and then apologize immediately" joke has been done to death.
Marco Polo was awesome
only one I've ever heard of was Camelot. and I watched every second of that series. It was awesome
Am i the only one who really liked Marco Polo?
NO, most people liked it. Except american masses.
Nope, I agree that it was amazing. Netflix really needs to re-think this one. There's still time.
it had a very, very high budget. to keep it going it would have needed to be one of the most popular shows
Don Johnson's "A Mann's World" cost millions and never made it out of pilot episode. The even installed a pool in the sound stage at WB where they filmed as there was a pool at the protagonists's home apartment.
I liked Camelot
Kings - man was I pissed when they dropped that flat. I loved that show.
Kings was a great show. It was too bad it was cancelled after the first season.
I agree. It was a good show. I do think it would have probably had a better chance on cable or as a limited series. I don’t think streaming was an option when it debuted.
I loved the original Battlestar Galactica. Hated the recent remake.
I liked NBC's Kings it was good but in my opinion it was due to the fact that NBC kept changing the day and time it aired on so it lost a lot of viewers because of it
Battlestar: Lorne Greene's salary alone was a major drain on production budget.
I really wanted Kings to do well, but it just did not happen. Ian McShane was awesome, as always. Some of the other characters were starting to get interesting and I think the show could have become much better if it had had a little more time to find it's voice. Kinda sad, but no surprising.
Watching Eva Green ride in on that horse was worth it to me.
Eva Green is one of my favorite actresses. Loved Penny Dreadful and bought every season.
If you like watching Eva Green ride. Then watch the movie "The Dreamers." You get to see Eva Green ride.
did i get this recommended for game of thrones ending ?
My late mom LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Star Trek and was an omnivorous reader of sci fi. But even SHE came away from the original Battlestar Galactica feeling that it was the clunkiest, most amateurish, worst-acted, worst special-effects debacle she ever saw. And that was going some for her. She ditched BG after a mere three episodes.
I maintain the remake was a vast improvement.
WTF!! Marco Polo is a good show. SHIT I WAS WAITING FOR SEASON 3!!!
Ok 👌🏻 that explains why we didn’t see d Camelot sequel. I actually felt Marco Polo was good. I saw the whole two seasons.
i thought kings was written really well. i enjoyed it. and marc polo was fun and funny.
Nanya Koncerno lol I didn't mind Merlin, loved that a bunch of naked eva was in it. But that blonde chick they cast as King Arthur was too much.
