Is it too risky to pay for the whole year of rent upfront? Would I need a lawyer to make sure I won't get evicted at any time after I pay 12 months upfront?
@@hubbardbrowniii4450 they have the same consumer laws here as they do in the united states when it comes to renting but the problem is that majority of the individuals that decide to move here will not actually be here for a complete year because most individuals travel to different countries from Santo Domingo because it is cheap on the dollar so they don't spend a lot of time here constantly and it could be a waste of money when you find somewhere else that you like more

Did you get your deposit back from your last apartment? I heard they don't really give deposits back in the DR whether it's damage done or not.
