    Great list. I've been using a CBS wishbone that I picked up used. I like my monitors to be as static as possible so being able to tighten all the screws to make it more rigid than my desk is nice. I also love the looks of the post and the arms. The c-clamp takes up very little space.

    Been using the North Bayou Dual Monitor, 22''-32'' for a two monitor setup and it's worked fantastically, not great on cable management, springs seem to hold up over time (got a single monitor version before but wanted a dual one). Single usb extension and cost around 55 it's pretty good instead of spending more than 100 on stuff that performs worse or just the same, buy something that actually can hold weight.

    I just bought 2x HP P34HC curved 34" Ultrawide 4K monitors (head weight=17.3 lb), I have an adjustable sit/stand desk, I'm planning on keeping the monitors in 1x landscape and 1x portrait config, and I want a grommet-mount dual-arm setup in an all-white minimalist esthetique. If the specs on a mount say 2x30" monitors, would that work for my 2x34" since 1 of the monitors will be in portait config (not as wide), or does that rating have something to do with centre of gravity or something? Is there a dual-arm mount that you would recommend for this setup? I don't want garbage, but I can't afford a $750 Ergotron. Thank you.

    i see many monitor arms that use the same design as some of these, so i fail to recognize what would make them better quality. I got a double arm with a post, and after a year with a 5kg 32" monitor and moving it every now and then, the "elbow" between both parts bacame a bit loose. Not sure if the design is similar in that part, i see these have a long post on the "elbow" to mount both together, mine has the tension adjust on the top and a bolt below, the diameter of this elbow union is about 3cm, not very much

    • @karlhendrikse

      Definitely two singles. If you go for a single mount, you either won't have enough reach to get both monitors where you want them, or you'll have to drill a hole in the middle of your desk, limiting the desk space available. 9:46 Excuse me as I am not familiar with the nomenclature here, but what does Maxing Out mean?

    • @ByTheRiverHelge
      @ByTheRiverHelge 19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Max = maximum = the upper limit of something. The max supported monitor weight of the arm he's talking about is 19.8 lb. Hence, maxing out = attaching a 19.8 lb monitor to the arm.

      @@ByTheRiverHelge Weight. Thank you. I know what maxing out means but in the video it sounded vague. after googling it I still didn't find anything. Could be size, could have to do with the stand.. No clue. Thanks.

    Huanuo has a few different models. Their upper range one is super smooth and nice to use. The lower end one (in this video) is trash in comparison. Not sure why they didn't review that one as well.

    with long monitor arm, just put the pole at one side of the desk, and extend the arm completely, and you can move your desk a little bit to you, and now pushing the arm to the wall, you have more space in your desk with more visibillity, and the monitor more stick to the wall.
    for dual monitor arm poles, just bend the monitor arm where you will put a vertical monitor, and adjust from the back, because of the mechanism, there's differences which you can adjust, and apply the same before concept for both, so now you have dual monitor setup and moar space on your desk.
    the guy just adjust from the front, in both videos he have. where's the logic. xd wtf.

    The Vivo Premium HD you mention is "mostly metal", but isn't that piece (that you're touching at 13:12) that connects the monitor vesa plate to the arm molded plastic? Has this recently been upgraded because it was definitely molded plastic on their other models.
