Love this video! My wife and I are considering going full time Rv’ing. Our kids are not so much about it. The are 17 and 15 this year. So we’re gonna wait until the younger one turns 18 ! I think. Our home is almost paid for. We have the equity to sell and buy everything for cash and that’s how we are going to get started
I have 4 kids and a dog and we have been trying to plan the full time thing for 2 years now. We have a travel trailer that was what we could afford at the time and done trips every few months to weekenders. We are trying to save to get a Class A and pay down debt. So we can be debt free on the road. I found a job remote to go along with my self employment so now my husband needs to find one. I think our plan is working out so far. I susbscribed and will be catching up, crossing fingers soon.

I definitely agree with you on one part. Everyone wants to start out small. I can't drive anything big or I can't tow anything big. If you don't have enough room to be comfortable your trip is over. Like you said, I costs a lot of money to get out of your mistake into the rig you really needed and wanted to begin with. Secondly, does she ever let you finish a statement? Maybe she should just dok all the videos in the future.

My husband wants to do a year of traveling in a camper. We have 2 kids under 3 so as much as I would love to travel and bond as a family I’m having such a hard time getting on board with leaving our safe cozy home with all the hot water, baths and accommodations we need. I need all the advice I can get on the pros and cons with little children on the road.
Find your WHY behind doing it. Spend time talking with your partner and make sure you are both on the same page before stepping in. You have to know your WHY & who your teammates are otherwise, it’s never going to feel good!
Of course! There’s plenty of solid options for good internet on the road these days! We use Starlink and also have a Pepwave cellular router. It can get difficult in heavily wooded areas with poor cell service, but strong internet is definitely possible to have out here
Why would you go to Missouri for the winter?! I live in Kansas City and I'm thinking about getting an RV to go south in the winter and north in the summer.

@@jamiewhittimore8390 we really had no experience before making the leap! Lived in a class C for a month before transitioning to fifth wheel. We lived in the fifth wheel for TWO solid years, enjoyed so much of it! Currently exploring the hawaiin islands but if and when the travel itch dies down a little bit, we def would go back to a fifth wheel set up or something of the sorts! Will you get a class C or a fifth wheel and then would need to consider a truck/truck payment. Just like living in a house or an apartment, you just find what works for you and what you can afford!

How much did you spend per month on propane in the winter in missouri? We are looking to spend a year in alaska. And are skeptical of being able to survive a winter in a camer up there.
We do an ebb and flow of travel nursing, work camping, and content creating…. Always choosing time & experiences over money and choose opportunities based on sacrifice of time vs benefit! So we take contract or seasonal jobs based on job market, weather, and what gives us the most freedom!
