We live in a 5th wheel RV but we've rented land in the country so we don't travel. Living in an RV with our 9yr old daughter has allowed us to afford life in general. We lost my husband's childhood home during the pandemic because of a crooked reverse mortgage co. The one with Tom Selleck if anyone's wondering. Anyway we couldn't get approved for a regular home and choosing an RV that we own, our home will never be taken from us again. I can honestly say we are a much closer family and we give all the honor and glory to Jesus. Without Him we'd be miserable. God bless this family, i really love their home🤗

My husband lost his job in October and still hasn't found work. We had to sell our house in February and now live in our 21 year old motorhome with our two kids and two cats. This has been the most stressful year yet the most peaceful year and it's all because of Jesus. We wouldn't have survived these last 7 months if we hadn't been turning to the Lord. He gives us true freedom even in times of loss.♥️

I love the way you have made your fith wheel so warm and comfortable. The only draw back on any of these videos is i think kids should be able to have privacy, especially when they’re different genders.

Our kids prefer sharing a room. We recently stayed in a 3 bedroom house and they had the opportunity to have their own bedroom. One of the rooms had a bunk bed and they chose to stay in that room- together. They love chatting and giggling before going to sleep at night and I absolutely love the strong bond this lifestyle has given them.

Your home is wonderful. Your renovation has made it warm and comfortable looking. You're giving your children an incredible lifestyle and learning experience. I also live in a renovated RV (5 yrs now.) I am stationary in an RV park. I made this decision to be able to live tiny within the city limits to have a short commute to work. I love it and will never go back to living in a conventional house or apartment. Thanks for the tour and sharing your story. Happy and safe trails to your family.

Beautiful family. Very nice and down to earth and practical RV. To me the biggest limitation with RVs is how short the boondocking has to be, as opposed to a bus or a truck that can carry so much more water for longer stays off grid (weeks or more than a month). Also lack of solar panels on the roof but that can be easily solved. Perhaps some filters to recirculate the shower water could alllow for longer off grid stays in RVs? And carrying some extra water in the truck. Anyway, good for them to be doing so well.

We actually Boondock every winter for about three months at a time in Mexico! We have a water bladder that we haul in water and pump into our rig and we have a septic trunk that comes and dumps us out. We love staying off grid for long periods of time! We have solar on the roof and lithium batteries.

KIDS!!! It’s a game to our kids that they will rearrange or remove a letter from the letter board and see how long it takes everyone else to notice. 🤣 I should’ve checked it before the filming 🤪

As an adult that grew up with Wheels under me. You find out you really don't have any roots. There's truly no place you call Home. And though you know people all over the place you really have no friends. It is definitely not a life that I would recommend for teenagers.

I’m sorry that was your experience. We have friends we travel with all the time and meet up with over and over. Our kids play organized sports each fall and have have teammates they stay in contact with year round, friends all over the world since we incorporate world travel and can decide for themselves one day if they want to stay in one spot or continue traveling. For now they both say they want to continue traveling.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience. But that's not the case with everyone. While my kids ( now aged 29-49 yrs) didn't grow up under wheels. Our professions required LOTS of moving from states to states. Never longer the 2yrs any one place.
They have grown up to be very secure adults. It was their opportunity to meet new people that has aided them the most. I often overhear them speak of how much they miss their moving adventures now.
I wish you the best that life has to offer you. Godspeed ♥️🤗🙏🕊️

@TheWanderpreneurs It was a wonderful experience that I wouldn't trade for the world. Just some things I wish had been different. The fact that you have friends that you travel with and meet with multiple times helps. Because that's more of the exact same people involve your lives. Kids playing organized sports in the fall. Tells me that you have a Home base somewhere. That's what I found we didn't have besides just how important that is. We all still do extensive traveling here and abroad because of our networking of life. But the lack of roots has its cost you don't realize until later when it's time to stop. The question is, where?

To each their own, but I wouldn't want this for my children. We wanted a normal upbringing for them. As for traveling, and experiences, our family went on many inexpensive vacations, and had our home, friends etc to come home to. This is rv thing not the life for us. Now we live in a gated resort for manufactured homes, and there is a separate rv section. I have talked to many people who do that life style, and it always comes down to them wanting a real home. RV life is expensive, and involved. I appreciate when people talk about all of the downsides of it. There are many places around where I live that are rv storage. Its a toy you never stop paying for. On one vacation we took as a family, out in the middle of the desert to mining towns etc, we met an elderly couple who had a big rv that broke down. It took a week plus for the parts to come in, and have it fixed. Thankfully they were able to find a hotel room for that time. Could we have broken down in our car too? Sure, but we always used rental cars. Just saying.......

This lifestyle isn’t for everyone but it’s the life we live and love. We have no desire to settle down and stay in one spot.
