Great video🙏❤️in your POV how much weeks it'll take to lightly fade away dark spots?

    • @AnanyaKunddu
      @AnanyaKunddu  ปีที่แล้ว

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback.
Well it depends how old is your dark spots.
For an example, if you have recently gotten any acne mark or say slight burns while cooking or say tanning you will start noticing the difference within a month.
But if you have have hyperpigmentation or any mark that has been there for quite some time then it will at least take a of three months.

First of all start using a broad spectrum sunscreen everyday even if you are at home.
Apply your sunscreen 20-30 minutes before stepping outdoor.
A good Skincare regime for AM & PM will definitely help you for better but you have to be consistent and patient as this will take longer than usual.
      AM - Any hydrating cleanser
      Plum 3% niacinamide toner
      Vitamin C serum
      Dr Seth’s ceramide & vitamin C sunscreen
PM - double cleanse (cleansing oil/cleansing Milk)- same face wash
      Same toner
      Kojic acid from derma co.
      Ceramide moisturiser
Use this peel once a week.
Also include vitamin C in your diet along with vitamin C tablets.

Hi. First off, the glow is majestic!! Couldn't help but say it XD
So, I'm thinking about buying this product but I have a few questions if you could please answer for me to think better :)
    1. Does it behave like the chemical peel that dermatologists suggest? (Actually peeling your skin, removing dark spots, and acne)
    2. How long till I start noticing visible results? (I got tad bit of inflammation all over my cheeks and forehead area + mild pigmentation + post acne blemishes. I'm already using salicylic acid serum from Dot & Key, which idk if it's working or not cuz i was doing great after the first week of consistently using it but after that I was back to having breakouts and stuff. 1 month through, and my face is doing worse than it was before. Also I'm following a proper AM & PM skin care routine)
    3. What kind of sunscreen should I go for given the above information?
PS. I'm new to 'fancy' skin care so any kinda advice would be much appreciated, thankss! :)

    • @AnanyaKunddu
      @AnanyaKunddu  ปีที่แล้ว +2

Hi Trisha! First of all thank you so much for writing so beautifully.
      Now coming to your questions.
      1. No these chemical peels do not behave like the clinical peels that dermatologists use.
      2. Since you mentioned your skin is absolutely not doing well currently so I would recommend not to use right now .
      3. Yes I understand, with the rise of influencers like us it has created a great impact on people to switch to using active ingredients or as you mentioned fancy products (which definitely has great benefits). But at the same time we should not forget the importance of basic skincare and what exactly our skin requires.
      My recommendation-
      First heal your your skin
      Kindly share-
      Your age
      Skin type
      Medical condition
      Any scalp problem
      Your gutt health.

@@AnanyaKunddu Thank you so much for taking time to response, I wasn't expecting it this quick :)
I totally understand what you mentioned, I never had acne problems my whole life. In fact, I've always had clear and smooth skin. When I first started noticing few bumps on my face, (around February, this year) they weren't even visible i could only feel them to touch. I thought it was just my body reacting to Ashvaghandha (I'd newly started taking it back then, since it rejuvenates mind and body and i struggle with anxiety & ADHD (self-diagnosed) so it really helps to focus). Then a month later, it became a little bad to the point I was noticing pimples (which I barely used to get any). At that very moment, I realized something's wrong and my skin is begging for attention. So I started with home remedies like oatmeal masks, aloe vera gel ice cubes, rose water (for toner) and stuff like that, hoping for it to work but it backfired instead. I saw no improvements. Seeing that home remedies aren't helping much, in April I decided to include active ingredients like salicylic acid, and I shared the aftermath in my last comment. Also, I tried acne patches with hydrocolloid, they worked a miracle overnight!
Anyways, that was a little back story on my acne. Here are the details you asked for ^-^
      Age: 19
      Skin Type: Combination Skin
Medical conditions: Anxiety Disorder and ADHD
      Scalp Problems: None
Gut Health: Upset Stomach (been a bit stressed as well since last 2-3 days)
I also want to add that I've been going to the gym since October 2022, to cope with my anxiety and to wear off that extra rush of adrenaline. It was working wonders for me until acne showed up. Having acne all of a sudden has been taking a toll on me. I feel a bit less motivated to show up in the gym but I do it regardless. And even though I follow up with proper hygiene after workout, do you think it could have contributed to me having breakouts out of the blue?
Once again, I appreciate you reading patiently through my thesis XD I'm just trying not to miss out on any important information :)

First of all get your blood test done.
      Consult a physician and gynaecologist.
Tell them about the medicines you are consuming.
Get PCOS and hormonal tests done.
      Now for the products-
      Use a mild cleanser
Eg - cetaphil or foxtale hydrating cleanser (tea tree facewash would also work but avoid neem facewash as of now ).
Use a toner that has ingredients like neem , tea tree , green tea in it , which would work as anti fungal.
Since you already have salicylic acid serum , apply it only on the affected areas.
Use a ceramide moisturiser for sensitive skin .
For sunscreen go for only mineral sunscreens .
      Night skincare-
      Same facewash
      Bioderma micellaire water
Let it sit for some time
      Spray your toner
Use good vibes anti-acne cream .
**Don’t forget to apply undereye cream.
      Update me after 15 days.

First of all your are really young, so at this age do not over use actives on your skin because it is very important to use it correctly.
There could be various reasons as to why you are facing such issues.
      1. Nose area - hormonal imbalance. (a common thing at your age)
      2. Forehead - Dandruff
      3. Eating habits
      4. Drink water
Now coming to your question -
If you oily to normal skin, you can try the derma co. Aha bha foaming facewash. It works really well for tiny bumps.
Also makeup sure your scalp it dandruff free and clean.

Hi sis..I got dry skin..can you recommend a beginners peel for melasma/hyperpigmentation around mouth and neck area?

    • @AnanyaKunddu
      @AnanyaKunddu  ปีที่แล้ว

You may rather go for the ordinary glycolic acid toner also add vitamin c serum ( not L-abscorbic acid) in the morning. Avoid any peeling.

    • @AnanyaKunddu
      @AnanyaKunddu  ปีที่แล้ว

See there would be no harm in using chemical peel only if you can maintain it the next day.
Since your skin already has melasma, it becomes even more important to take care of your skin the next day to protect it from harsh sunlight and also heat. Even if you are staying indoors. All these factors might exaggerate your problems.

    • @AnanyaKunddu

Well I only suggest or recommend products based on my personal experience.
So, I have a sensitive, oily and acne prone skin and I have been using chemical peels since past 2years now or more than that I believe and honestly haven’t faced any such issue rather it has definitely made my skin better.
Having said that I also understand that each skin is different and it reacts differently in contact with certain products, However, I Hope if you follow all the steps and keep in mind about the points I mentioned you won’t face any such issues.

Alot of times our skin is allergic or intolerant to certain ingredients and when it comes to actives we have to alot more careful. I’m not surprised as during my teens or early 20s when I had acnes my skin used to react badly with salicylic acid .

First use a mild cleanser eg., cetaphil
Always use it in the Pm routine
Keep it for 7 min wash it off.
Apply a hyaluronic serum first and then a moisturiser on top .
Remember to use a sunscreen everyday, from 9 am to 6pm and reapply every 2-3 hours even if you are at home .
** to use hyaluronic serum -
First apply a toner or water
Use hyaluronic acid directly onto the wet skin and apply a moisturiser on top.
