I use the AHA/BHA exfoliating facial by The Ordinary. Tbh I’m not sure if it’s working. When I use it I feel the tingle and I apply aloe vera skin gel and The Ordinary moisturizer after. But I don’t know if it’s actually doing anything. It’s one of the steps in my skin care routine that I do in faith to slow down aging and prevent telltale signs of middle age skin.

Hey for the peel, this is not recommend to use more than once a week, it is also not recommended for everyone. If you are not an advanced skincare user with experience with acids I would opt for the lower % lactic or salicylic serums. Otherwise introduce for only 5mins fortnightly and see how your skin reacts. Don’t over do it xx Also do not use both at the same time.
How did this end up going for you? I just bought the AHA BHA peel and the niacinamide and in the most recent video about the niacinamide they said not to use it with AHA so idk what to do lol

It is left on as a mask for no longer than 10mins and then rinsed off :) Since you do not use this product often, you can just apply moisturiser after. If you must use niacinamide, you can as the AHA/BHA has been fully removed from the skin prior to the niacinamide being applied. Hope that answers your question
I would, I know my opinion doesn’t matter but the cleanser is like a balm it’s really good for taking makeup off and I really like the lotion. You can tell it’s made just for the face
Hello Deborah! We don't recommend this product for severe hyperpigmentation. Choose a gentle lactic acid exfoliating serum instead and don't use on the same day as retinol. We have lots of hyperpigmentation videos on our channel :) xx

Hello there :) choose 1 or the other, you don't need both in the routine - way too exfoliating and can lead to skin damage. Or you can use the salicylic 2% twice a week and this 1 once a month as an intensive treatment. This is a peel and shouldn't be done more than once a week. Some people don't even need it once a week and use it monthly
You can but avoid excessive sun exposure for a few days e.g don’t use it when you are going to the beach the next day and of course where sunscreen daily.

Hi. I use the Ordinary salicylic acid 2% solution and niacinamide and zinc then put on the moisturizer. I do this every second or third evening. Every other morning I use the ordinary hyaluronic acid on wet skin and then put on Eucerin sunscreen for oily skin. I noticed that my skin is softer and I have less blackheads (there are many of them, but now less than before). However, I don't see an improvement on small dented acne scars. What can I do about that? Which other product to use? Could AHA acids help? I have been doing this for 7 months more or less. Cheers.
Hey :) yes acne scarring like yours is very deep within the skin. You can also incorporate retinol into your routine, that can help. You will most likely need professional skin treatments for this - a series of micro needling treatments done by a professional is what I would recommend

You will be better off using a salicylic acid toner daily, and a cream targeted to keratosis pilaris. This is not a peel to use daily - keratosis pilaris needs ongoing maintenance we have a whole video on it on our channel :)

Yes you could use a cleanser with SA in it. You can also treat your chest and back as you would your face for breakouts :) so moisturise with a non cosmogenic moisturiser too. Do you know why you get breakouts in these areas? Do you exercise frequent?

@@tammymitsch7210 if you work out frequently, try showering straight after a workout (if you are able to). Using a body wash with tea tree in it to can help as it is antibacterial or use a cleanser with SA in it. If your mum had it too, it will be something you just need to manage ongoing. Also avoid any heavy body creams or body sunscreens that can clog your pores.
or if you want to play it safe do your 10 min before you go to bed then apply whatever in the morning bc you really dont want sun exposer after the peel but i suppose if your doing a retinal at night that wouldnt work

You should to ensure all product is removed. Your cleanser shouldn’t dry out your skin, it it does it is not the right cleanser for your skin
Use Simple miceller gel wash. It is not drying at all and it's affordable.
You need something to balance back the pH, because the peeling solution is very acidic.

@@tammymitsch7210 if you work out frequently, try showering straight after a workout (if you are able to). Using a body wash with tea tree in it to can help as it is antibacterial or use a cleanser with SA in it.
If your mum had it too, it will be something you just need to manage ongoing.
Also avoid any heavy body creams or body sunscreens that can clog your pores.
