When Johnny mentions what it's like to wake up in V's body in the morning and briefly feel like he's back in his own body, only to feel like something is missing, and then being relieved when he realises V is still there really gets to me 😢
I wish it was made an actual song, but it’s the riff from, “Never Fade Away” by the actual samurai band. I was hoping to see it as an actual song, sadly it isn’t. It’s mostly ambience.
there’s something so sad about seeing a “legend” have everyone forget his name. johnny only did what he did to be remembered and he was repayed with his body thrown in the trash without a marker. this is where i think V learned that the idea of being a “night city legend” has its downsides and that’s why i think the temperance ending is the true ending.
When he takes over V during the Chippin In quest line and has his big night in the afterlife - you get a choice of whether to drink a blue glass or a Tequila old fashioned. If you go for the Tequila, Claire recognises that that drink is actually 'the Silverhand' and nobody has ordered it in a long time. Kinda hurt - and I felt like it was a subtle foreshadowing of this.
@@Varza yea and early on with jackie you can order that, i think if u order the silver hand early on with jackie than later on while johnny is in control it’s almost like claire connected the dots.
"johnny only did what he did to be remembered" Not really. He fought Megacorporations and Arasaka because they are the worst, because of "beauty" and "principle" as he said.
@@subject8776 i believe Johnny wanted to be remembered not in a famous legend way, but in a way that people would continue his legacy and fight the corporations y’know? Like he wanted to make change and be the beginning of a revolution and it’s sad to me to see that all his effort has been completely forgotten. I think that’s what he means when he says remembered.
@@subject8776 well obv but i mean his whole image is a staple of a legend. the music, the rebellion. he did it cause he liked it, he did it cause he cared and he wanted to start something with it. he became a legend, that no one remembers, his message died in that tower and this is where he realizes that the world moved on without him
Being a principle, dying for the principle, and even become forgotten because of the principle, is the hard and rebellious lesson to be learned. But as principles are eternal, Johny Silverhand is eternal ever coming back with his known and foxy smirk on his face, encouragin' to nuke wicked into oblivion. So, hail to Silverhand and it's time to take up the cross and follow him to eternity because what we do here and now echoes in eternity! Time to love our rebellious heart for the sake of Silverhand!
My heart was broken when I did last night for the 3rd time the game as a corpo and I hated Johnny since the begining,I didn't even wanted to look at him or speak with him, and doesn't even bothered what he speaking, what he feels and I learned that I won't choose this path again cuz its really painful looking at Johnny after the Chippin' In mission after I tell him that he is a terrorist, that he deserved what he got and don't want him in any way + I straight move to the Embers never letting him a chance to speak with Kerry again.... It just hurt me a lot
v you dont know how much i want that to be true listen i realize i fucked up a lot of things blind selfish bastard that i was but i've managed one thing for now not to fuck this up what we have
4:20 music is so fucking awesome, i kinda have to cry. i love cyberpunk 2077, in my opinion, it is a masterpiece. this is one of those examples of games that are art. it isn't some cod that you have every year with the typical story of "lets kill some russians!", it is so much more. cd project red are the best. not only witcher 3, which was one of the greatest games I ever played, but cyberpunk and the care for the community. i played cyberpunk 6 times now and have over 200h in it. it is truly a masterpiece. the story is so good and the gameplay never gets boring. thank you cd project red for this amazing game!
Here's the scene straight after the mausoleum: th-cam.com/video/REoKo08EF5Y/w-d-xo.html. The mausoleum itself from memory was a very close mix to this track from 4:20 - but let me know if you were referring to something else!

"V, you don't know how much i want that to be true."
One of my favorite things about the whole game is how much johnny ends up caring for V
this song is so pretty I wish I could play the game all over again for the first time, it makes me feel emotional

He's chippin' out.
Cringe
real heroes are not celebrated, but buried in unamed, shallow graves.
Johnny was no hero

hey do you plan to upload the "never fade away" riff from johnny ending, the mausoleum scene?

man I wish I could get the tabs
Ahh same here...... Am trying on my own though..
It's just the never fade away solo part mostly. Tabs are available for it for sure. It's pretty fun to play and not hard to learn. Have fun! :)
