That's it. No... happy ending. The survivors don't all cheer. The corpos don't fall, the city doesn't stop for a dying merc. No mutually good fate. In a way, it's kind of ironic. If they had different endings, people would have complained that your choices don't really matter until the end of the game. This way, that's the whole point. Nothing you did as V mattered. It never did. The city goes on, regardless of your choices.
@@JoaoPedro-xb9yo I think it's the best ending. Cyberpunk is about saving yourself. If you take that route: - Reed dies, but he wasn't really living to begin with, and he does technically "escape". - So Mi escapes and (presumably) is cured and able to escape the grasp of her NUSA captors. - Alex escapes Night City and enjoys a well-deserved vacation. - Johnny realizes the destructive promise of Night City, and chooses to respect V and leave the city, getting a fresh start somewhere new. - V escapes into Cyberspace. I also got dialogue where she took note of my V's Netrunning capabilities, and said V would do just fine out in Cyberspace. Everyone lives, barring Reed, but he was an old man unwilling to change, his head full of false ideals and hopes; his only escape would have been death.
I'm glad Cyberpunk 2077 got the second chance it deserved. Now finally more people can see how absolutely amazing the story writing and gameplay is. (Mostly the story)
Its a very compelling ending. Its great to see Johnny genuinely change, mature and grow after his journey with V. But it's very bitter sweet to hear all the voicemail from V's friends who don't realise V is dead. (Except for Panam, but that cuts twice as deep.)

Temperance is definitely the my personal choice of ending. Especially after dont fear the reaper. It feels right, knowing V fought all of arasaka tower to prevent losing any of there friends, and then when they finally learns that no matter what, that he will die. He gives Jhonny, someone they've come to care for the Ultimate gift through sacrifice. A second chance away from Night city. It felt more true than any other ending
When I picked this one, I spent a long time agonizing over if I had made the right choice. I took a shower, and thought about it. Really thought about it. And I realized it’s what I would’ve picked. If I was really there. I couldn’t in my heart let Johnny die for me, if I was going to die too. I couldn’t let someone I cared about die for me. Not when there was another way. There’s no happy ending for V, but I knew I could give Johnny one. So I did. Fantastic ending.
At first i straight hated this option and i asked myself repeatadly "What the fck did i just done". But few days later i understand this was actualy one of the more happy ending. Johnny get another chance. Judy was happy like a sunshine somewhere in the wilds near campfire. River was happy with his family, doing right things. Viktor seems fine too. Mitch survived and was in happy mood. Only two biggest downsides were Panam and death of Saul. But i believe Panam could hold entire family tight. I think i could change some things but it was good ending after all.

I was a lucky one, didn't have any noticeable bugs in my first playthrough (on launch). Then I watch the basically devs get burnt on the cross, made me sad considering I love the story sooo fucking much and music just breaks it further. Especially the V endings and Evelynns death version of New Dawn Fades and that it turns into a part of Never Fade Away in the last part, made me have a minor panic attack. This is one of the masterpieces I want to be played in my funeral, if I ever have one. Thank you for uploading this, I love this, I can connect and feel myself in this riff, and it feels like grief and brief peace at once. I'm somewhere there, I think.
I am Brazilian and I feel that we have created so many dystopian universes that we fail to see that today we live in a dystopia. People are starving, without a place to call home.We have big corporations that rule and corrupt our governments with money. And just like V's story, no matter what we do, there is no happy ending... But at the same time, I feel that we must have hope and continue to the end for our principles, like Johnny.
Yes exactly, that's the point, that's the message cyberpunk wants you to grasp. But I do think that people do realize it and that's why it's so relatable and depressing. I believe there's no good ending in life (like in the game), however you can still have hope. You may not realize it so much but there are still in this world people which genuinely care about you (like in the game). While the country and city may remain the same, each game ending gives you to decide what you will do next, everything depends on how much you care and what you want to do. Take care!
"...a new dawn fades and I awake to hear your name haunt all my waking dreams A new dawn fades despite my screams Your legends your own But it mine to carry..." "...Bro?" "Just... Just something that came to mind. Thinking about her" "You really loved her huh". "...Yeah"

In the neon glow, your shadow remains, a spectral reminder in every reflective pane. Your ethos, encrypted, in every fight I wage, Your specter, the melody, in every song, every stage. Echoes of your sacrifice reverberate, through the silent void, in every fate. I carry forth, with your memory etched, in every decision, every path I sketch. Your legend, V, intertwines with mine, a shared tapestry through the threads of time. In every note I play, in every rebellious deed, I see you, I find you, in every planted seed. So, as new dawns fade and the night ensnares, your memory, V, silently coalesces and bears. In the underbelly of Night City, amidst the strife, I'll honor you, carry you, through this second life..."
