I grew up in Brooklyn NY in the 1960s
Those cars were starting to rust back then
I now live in new Jersey and my 09 focus is starting to rust in the rocker panels
Some of the better ones look like 5 Year old used cars

One way to tell a 53 from a 54 Chrysler are the headlights, the 54‘s had a parking light right under the headlights as part of the bezel, the 53‘s were headlight and trim ring only.

When I was growing up I think we had a 74 Plymouth station wagon, I say I think because I think it was a 74, it was a wood grain with brown paint and brown interior, I remember riding in it quite a bit when I was six or seven years old, Going to the stores with my mom. We also drove it down to Florida from Indiana to see my grandma and grandpa, the old going to Florida with a station wagon in the 70s lol

It's good to see these go up for auction instead of letting an iron fisted hoarder let them rust into the ground due pure spitefulness & bitterness. I saw a video where hoarder let his collection rust out so badly that when the family took over it they had to bring in a crusher.

Some of those hoods would make pretty cool garage door awnings...
In the late 80's I bought a 66 Studebaker Cruiser...put the engine in a lowered 53 Chevy p/u used the dash for a headboard cut the front end off put it up in my garage...keep it coming...

I am curious though, why would you make the comment on the 65 Fury 2 door post (white in color) @ 57:48 was a rare car? I did not realize the Post Cars were a "rare" Item as a I have a 63 Ford Galaxie that is a 2 door post that I have had for over 45 years and counting. But I did not realize She was considered "rare"...... Just curious is all...... Thank You in advance for sharing your thoughts!!!!
