    Pausing this video at the forty six minute mark because of a overwhelming feeling of respect that you show for these trucks. I know that your not a kid anymore but realize that I am 73 now and loved these rigs as you do. I did drive or work on many of these kind of rigs. My dream was to collect, repair or rebuild them to good working order with maybe modern drivetrain to make a lot more dependable. If I had Donald Trump money, I would of bought everything these guys have to restore and return to use again. High inflated prices of vehicles make me wonder why we ever as a nation of greed, could allow ourselves to be involved in high inflation. I wanted to build my own town for people who worked for me to return the rigs to good working order, a place where the customer could be involved like we were when those rigs were new. They could of came in and said; I need a driver quality rig restored to this level so it wasn't something that would just set on a lot.Where you live requires different creature comforts like air conditioning or maybe glass that was tinted... material in the seats could be picked out to their needs. Here in Alaska, its a no brainer.... HEAT or a good heater for winter months.
    I paused this video to say Thank You Sincerely! I really enjoy knowing prices of this stuff when sold and some of the history. It hurts me to see wrecking yards that just chop a set of fenders in to two smaller pieces for wall art. Lots of nice old grain truck cabs that don't sell at a auction because of the large wheel opening..... I laugh because the person restoring one will put twenty plus inch rims on the customized vehicle and so enlarge the stock pickup body parts to make these large wheels work... now asking your opinion on this... do you see the irony of that?

    Great video ,the prices seem to be good on some of the cars and if you watch enough of the videos on auctions those stumb nose trucks guys on the west coast take and make car haulers out of them to haul there show cars around so the money on them is right on what they go for . I hope all of those cars and trucks get redone . I'd hate it if they got cut up and parted out ,it would be a waste. Have a happy Thanksgiving and thank you for your time and videos I enjoy watching and learning

    To the naysayers about people and their hoarding, if they didn't do it these vehicles would have all been crushed by now and no one would benefit. As far as prices go when it's an auction, that is the value of that piece on that day,. if it's too high, don't buy! I am just tickled pink to know there are still some old relics out there to fix up. Also I appreciate your video coverage of these and I think you do a great job and your knowledge of this much variety is awesome!!!! Keep em coming sir!

    Spectacular collection!!! Seems to me that the price point on many of these rides had the RVV price hike, very few deals to be found at this site. That said, if I would have been there, it would have been like going into a time machine - and that would have been worth every penny on the price of admission. Just excellent awesomeness!!! Thank you for the tour!

    The Wyoming plate reminds me of the one my buddy Warren gave me. He knew I’d have a use for a 1955 plate so I put it on my rat rod as an air dam to cool the auxiliary oil and trans fluid radiators. The prefix number designated the county and mine was issued in Sweetwater County. Excellent video and great history here

    Some of those vehicles sold for way too much. The price that you'd get for a full restoration (even a 1/2 assed one), you would get about $2/hr on the time invested over the amount of money spent on parts.

    What would be great for many of us is when you go through a salvage yard that part's and stuff are for sale . Is you let us know where the salvage yard is and what the name of it is and a contact number so we can contact whichever salvage yard it is so we can get part's we need for our cars and Trucks !!! That would really help the people who are subscribed to your TH-cam channel to get part's that we have been looking for and need !!! I wonder how many others think that would be a great idea ?? Why don't you ask your subscribers about that ?? I believe you would be surprised as to how many of us subscribers to your TH-cam channel think that it would be fantastic and would really appreciate it if you did that !!!

At least 6 feet up in the air and 8 to 9 feet is where your head & eyesight is, Amazing experience driving these things which I have , Pulling 8 axle super B load's of CTL or cut too length log's in northwestern Alberta and off highway and on highway of course. And it was a Mack with a V8 mack diesel with a 13 speed T/A axle set up.

    Thirty four fifty seven, trying to be respectful and trying not to open post sale hood's ? What harm is it to pop a hood of a inoperable junker ? , Definitely makes no sense at all just like the dumber thrice Pealilzed hammer desperate price.

    • @mr.goodpliers6988
      @mr.goodpliers6988  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not the buyer, or the seller, so I have no business being under the hood. It's a big deal because they may not re-latch unless lubed, a spring may break, hood hinges may extend and not retract. Next guy grabs it to shut it and hood either folds like a taco or bends hinges in half. Most of these parts will never be reproduced, and even if they are the cost is minimum hundreds of dollars to replace. Every one of these vehicles will be hauled and if a hood flies up I don't want to be the reason it rips off during transit.
      Winds out here can come 50 MPH plus, and if a hood blows up, every gust hammers it back and forth. A friend of mine has a 1952 Oldsmobile with the hood ripped off, except for the corners at the hinges. Windshield has 25 star cracks for each time the wind picked it up and moved it a little more. Sickening thing to see and 100% unnecessary, especially considering the last person who left it open had no invitation, no reason, and no intent to buy the car. Out of respect I don't open them unless asked by owner or new buyer.

    it has been my experience that all the people that do this have been jerks to anyone that gets near it or offers money. they always seem a bit strange and when you live long enough you understand they were as they did nothing but horde and play stingy also letting them just facking rust away. i kinda hate these people, but like they give a sh!t what i think. but i know this. i wont send a service truck to their property because of it. i can play that game too!
