Great info buddy thanks!!!.. I am trying to convert jpg sequence to mov- All where working fine but I am getting one frame into mov. Any suggestions???
Hi Andy. Any clue why on Win 10 and 11, downloaded and converted to mp3 files cannot be played after they are copied on USB or SD card ? They work only on the laptop/windows. Thanks.
Yep. Firstly, you could change the registry entries to put them in [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\.flv\shell\ConvertToMP4]. Then, change the default value (eg. the name of the menu item) to "Convert To MP4", the batch file name to convert_to_mp4.bat, and, in the batch file itself, use one of the commands listed in the tutorial that I linked to. Good luck!
Lots of Thanks!
thanks, i made it work from mkv to mp4
Awesome video! Worked perfect. Converted a large folder of mp4s to mp3s in no time.
Great, has this implications to windows updates in corporate environments?
Great video, thanks for all the information.
No worries. I'm glad you enjoyed it :-)
Great information, thank you!
Thanks bro). I made a converter from mkv to mp4
Is it possible to do the same using LAME?

Is there a way to set it up so that it scans a folder for new files every 12 hours and outputs to another directory after conversions?

Would you mind making a tutorial on how to get FFmpeg to convert .flv to .mp4 for video? I could really use this tool for that if it's possible.
This looks like a good tutorial: addpipe.com/blog/flv-to-mp4/
I have another question, if I wanted to set this up to convert from .flv to .mp4 would I just change the command line and such accordingly?

@@HandyAndyTechTips I tried to rewrite the batch and reg key and didn't have much luck with it.
